Lucky, Ariana wasn't sleeping at that time. She passed the coffee jar at Viona and was teased with a smile. She never knew that her brother had such a fetish of having midnight coffee. Initially he hated drinking coffee at night because of having side effects on sleeping. Very obviously, he was trying his best to win his wife's heart. Ariana didn't reveal his true intentions and saw Viona's retreating back blankly. It was truly very suspicious that his Alpha brother who was known for his charm and powers was actually trying to become romantic for the sake of his wife.

Viona returned with the coffee jar in her hand and entered into the kitchen. She still took a closer look of the giant hallroom and found no one around. When she paid attention on the stove, the water was boiling naturally. She whinned a spoon inside, unclasped the jar to pull out coffee beans but just then, her eyes caught a moving shadow on the wall.

Her hand paused midway. She didn't act repulsively. Just in a common way, she dropped the jar on the barstool slowly. Without uttering a noise, she turned around in a shot and speeded away towards the direction of that shadow resided at a corner.

Viona eventually discovered an omega from their pack at her late twenties. She didn't think so much and clutched her throat harshly. The girl choked on her saliva and whimpered in pain. The power of being Alpha blood is incredible. Viona's wolf took over control and let out a growl with question,

" What are doing here in my absence? Furthermore why are you hiding?"

The girl named,Britney didn't expect Viona to come back so fast. She intially thought of running out but caught the sight of Viona's coming back. Facing the Luna of their pack, Britney didn't dare to behave rudely. She coughed and started to plead for merciness,

" Luna....I..I came..to..get..some..cookies.. Please listen to me..."

Viona didn't believe on her words. She merely let go of her throat out of sympathy and glared at her threateningly. Britney who just got back her breathing started to explain herself between her choking,

" I..I.. didn't come with any ill intentions, Luna..I..I just got scared being discovered by you and hid at a corner. Please pardon my behavior. I will definitely pay attention to my behaviors from next time."

Britney gave a perfect reason and subconsciously looked back at the boiling water nervously. Viona was still doubting on her intentions. Moreover she wasn't very warmly welcomed by their pack so far.

Viona didn't want to bicker on this tiny matter anymore. She gave her a stern look and warned with a cold smile,

" You better speaking the truth."

Britney bit down her lips tightly and replied with an awkward smile,

" I..I don't dare, Luna. Can I go back to my room now?"

Viona hummed in response and saw her scurrying away nervously. She looked like she had done something wrong but what could she do?

Viona looked around but nothing seemed suspicious in her eyes. Dismissing the thought, she came back to make the coffee. Just as she came nearby the stove, a different kind of aroma travelled through her nostrils. Her eyes sharpened dangerously and leant down to smell the boiling water.

Indeed the water was giving off a minty smell. But whenever she gave a closer look,she didn't find any elements into it. Her lips pressed into a tight line and she wished that she could have interrogated the girl more.

Damn! This girls..!

She cursed lowly and changed the water considerably. She didn't know what was this pack members trying to do with her. They were polite with her in front but behind her back, they were ready to press their claws into her throat.

" Here's your coffee, Alpha", Viona dropped the hot coffee mug on Damien's desk and turned around to seat back on her earlier spot.

With a mischievous grin, Damien praised lovingly,

" Thanks! Was it troublesome?"

Viona looked at his smile blankly and wanted to spit out the incident that happened downstairs. But considering the fact that she was new here, she didn't want to become a sissy in the eyes of Damien. So she ignored the initial topic and replied with annoyance,

" Nope! I am very very much honoured to serve the Alpha King. Happy?"

Damien grinned after taking a sip and replied with a sarcastic smile,

" How badly I wish that this words coming out from you are true."

Viona pressed her lips into a tight smile and asked between her gritted teeth,

" Would you like to tell me now that what should I do next?"

Damien understood that she was getting bored. But he was also very much eager to have her around. He couldn't let go of this opportunity of binding her beside him. He picked up some books from his drawer and threw them at Viona's way,

" Here, read this books. We will be going back to sleep after I am done."

" W..We..?", Viona emphasized shakingly.

Damien's face darkened instantly. He questioned back between his gritted teeth,

" So you want me again to sleep in here? Viona, I am the owner of this mansion. My pack members would get eventually suspicious over our relationship. Furthermore, we aren't mated yet."

Viona's body stiffened slightly at the mention of their mating ceremony. Her grip tightened around her coffee mug subconsciously. After going through a lot of inner battlings, she accepted with a depressing tone,

" All..all right..We..we will sleep together.."
