It was not only Viona who felt uneasy while being stuck in such an empty place. Damien looked around suspiciously, kept his nostrils sharp and his eyes never missed any corner left to be unseen. His wolf was getting anxious as each moment passed away.

Paying his attention back to Celeb who was approaching the laid wooden body slowly, he inspected deeply. As the headlights of the car fell upon the dark road, Damien noticed a wolf-like shadow coming on Celeb's way from the back.

Damien cursed under his breathing and quickly shouted through the half opened window of his car,

" Celeb..Watch out.."

As soon as his words came out, Celeb snapped his face sideway and almost instantly the brown furred wolf jumped onto him completely. Damien quickly got off before warning seriously,

" Don't get down and lock all the windows from inside."

Viona really wished to accompany him but Damien had already went outside after jamming the door from outside. Startled Viona obeyed his order and peered outside sharply through the front mirror. Under the lightening of flashlight, everything was crystal clear in front her vision.

Damien walked briskly with a murderous aura and inteneded to save Celeb from that insane like Wolf who was practically scratching him manically. Just when Damien approached Celeb, another wolf attacked him from back.

Feeling a little distracted, Damein couldn't locate the wolf"s presence nearby. Thus he fell over the road with a thud and protested the wolf's attacks with his bare hands.

Damien hissed between his gritted teeth,

" Slaves of Alpha Lucas! How dare you block my way?"

He spoke and shoved off the wolf on one side. Supporting his arms to haul up, he shot the wolf a knife life glare and started to change into his wolf form. Unfortunately Damien had no clues that the entire pack of Alpha Lucas was awaiting for this rare opportunity for a long time.

As they all knew that Damien's wolf form was far more ferocious than his human being, the hiding wolves didn't want to give him any chance. One by one, they appeared out from the dark woods and started to circle Damien from each corner.

Viona gasped looking at the plenty number of wolves and started to get worried for Damien subconsciously. She almost jumped off but reminding Damien's earlier command, she dared not to step out.

What if she invited more troubles from him?

Damien inspected them narrowing his eyes dangerously. His eyes changed color repeatedly which indicated that his wolf was dying to dominant them.

Damien opened his mind links to know that what were they saying. As soon as he turned it on, a rude voice came out first,

" Alpha Damien, Our Alpha has apologised to you numerous times but you still didn't show him any mercy. Now he is suffering on the bed badly."

Damien replied without an ounce of hesitation,

" He deserves it. He has killed an innocent member of mine. It is already fortunate that I have let him live."

Another icy voice came out with a low growl,

" You sure are brave, Alpha Damien. You don't have your pack members with you now. Who will help you at this moment? Look at us! We are nearly fifteen and you are just a pathetic lone wolf."

A deep growl escaped through his throat and came out like a cold warning from Damien,

" If I needed my pack to protect me, I wouldn't have become the king of all Alphas. Seems like you haven't known me well."

Another wolf sneered while circling slowly,

" Then we should know you well today."

The following moment, the group wolves all together attacked Damien in unison with great force. At first, Damien couldn't dodge all of their attacks together and fell underneath their claws numbly.

Viona watched the commotion from far. Her wolf immediately turned anxious as she shouted from their car loudly,

" Damien!"

This time, her emotions couldn't be suppressed upon seeing her mate in danger. She jumped out of the car anxiously and ran over to them with a fierce spirit. The more, she stepped closer to their fighting, Damien's low pained growl stabbed deep into her heart.

Her breathing turned heavy. Her face started to loose the earlier radiant that she had on her expression. Her mouth itched to bite the rogues flesh so hardly that there shouldn't be any flesh left on their skin.

Stepping more closer, she commanded from her Alpha tongue,

" Leave my mate alone! "

The wolves paused between their attacks and turned their faces towards the source of voice. Damein's face paled drastically between his fight as soon as he recognized the voice.

He shouted angrily,

" Viona...Run away..."

Viona didn't falter a bit. Instead her eyes darkened more upon realising the helplessness of Damien who was trying to fight back.

Viona had her mind links opened already to know that what the rogues were talking about. One of the wolf commented with a sarcastic smile,

" Isn't it our new Luna, the rumored one? Are you here to fight against us, huh?"

Viona looked down at Damien who constantly warned her to go away. Viona stood without any fear and warned them again,

" I said that let him go."

Another wolf laughed with mockery,

" Are you picking a fight with us? Go back to your pack Luna. We have our personal grudges with Damien. It's better you run away before we loose our patience."

Viona sneered curling her lips up dangerously,

" Try me! "

Damien shouted again,

" Viona... No.."

Viona repeated her words while tiptoeing towards them slowly,

" Try me! If you can defeat me, I will leave Alpha Damien to you."

The wolves were all awestruck and exchanged glances between them blankly.

What was this little girl talking about? She was actually challenging a pack of wolves alone?
