It's been a week since the death of Derrick and he has been buried accordingly. Pack members who ran away are gradually coming back and the pack is slowly rebuilding itself.

Today I will be officially addressing the pack members for the first time since I came back. To reassure them that the pack is once again safe and it would be for a long time.

I have started training a new set of warriors and those warriors that were slaughtered by Derrick will have a monument built in their honor.

Their children and the spouses they left behind would be duly provided for and cared for by the royal house.

Oliver has decided she was to live with Ashley and me till she is eighteen and has asked us to get her adopted.

Also, Kai will be going back to his pack today after the meeting. He had previously asked me to pardon Jessica for her crimes as his payment for helping me out in a time of need.

Hopefully, she turns into a better person for him and they both find happiness in each other arms.

We have also decided to get Ashley a trainer who can teach her to master her powers, and how she uses each of the elements to protect herself and the people around her in case of crisis.

My son Andre is growing bigger and healthy as each day passes by, he is under the constant watchful eyes of Grace and Oliver.

I do not doubt that one day he would be a great king.

Grace said she has something she wants to tell me after the meeting, I can't help but wonder what it is, is Ashley pregnant again?

I hope that whatever it is, it should be good news as I am tired of the recent sad events around here.

“Do you want to take the entire time to makeup, we would be late by the time you are done,” I said to Ashley, who has been busy making herself up for the past thirty minutes.

Only if she knows how perfect she looks without all those layers of makeup.

“Sorry, the luna of the pack has to look perfect for her king and her people,” she said as she stood from the chair she was seating on, looking ravishing in the beautiful white body-fitted dress I recently bought for her.

Her makeup was looking flawless and she looked every shade of sexy. It's almost hard to believe that this is the same slave-girl I started with.

I walked over to where she was standing and she smiled beautifully at me, I felt proud of my choice of the woman.

Dumb ass I chose her, you had a terrible sense of women, squishy said in my head.

Idiot, go to sleep, I said to him as I quickly blocked him off as that was one argument I was not ready for. At least not today.

“You look amazing,” I said to Ashley who kept smiling beautifully at me. I almost forgot she can hear my thoughts now, since she named my wolf, she has gotten more connected to us.

Her beautiful cherry shiny lips kept pulling me closer and I couldn't resist the urge as I lean to kiss them softly.

“Hmm, it's sweet,” I said as I tasted her lips.

“Yeah, it's a sweetened lip gloss,” she said smiling.

“Your lips made it taste better, if you continue using that gloss, I might mistakenly eat off your lips one day,” I said jokingly to her as I kept playfully biting her lips.

“I thought you said we were late,” Ashley said laughing.

“I am the king, coming late to an event is one of my privileges,” I said to her.

“Not with this wolfless luna, time is of the essence,” she said as she walked in her beautiful white block heels.

She was about to open the door when we heard a knock, she looked at me as if to ask if I was expecting anyone, but I nodded a 'no' and asked her to open the door while I walked closer to her.

The door opened and I saw Kai looking all shades of the rogue king he is, in a black leather outfit.

“Kai,” I said, surprised to see him, as we had previously talked about us seeing him after the meeting.

“Good morning luna Ashley, you look amazing,” he said as I watched him stare at Ashley's exposed skin.

One cannot help but notice the flicker in his eyes while he spoke with her.

“Thank you,” Ashley said blushing.

It took me a whole lot not to pull Ashley behind me for protection. Rogues are not to be trusted when it comes to women, especially my Ashley.

“What are you doing here? I thought you said we will be seeing after the meeting?” I quickly chirped in.

“Yeah, but there has been a change of plan, we will be leaving now and there is someone here that needs to speak with you both,” he said as Jessica slowly came to stand beside him.

She is all quiet and looking embarrassed.

“I wanted to come and apologize for all the wrongs I ever did to you both, I am truly sorry and I can only hope that someday you both have the willingness to forgive me,” she said not for once lifting her face off the floor.

“I'm happy you have realized your mistakes, and I do honestly wish you the best in your new home,” Ashley said to Jessica.

“Thank you, Luna,” Jessica said still head down.

I could feel everyone's eyes on me as they felt that I should say something but the truth was that I didn't know what to say to Jessica as I thought of our good and bad days. She may have messed up but she made my childhood a memorable one.

“We will come and visit you both soon,” I said and hopes that by saying that she understands that I have forgiven her.

“Have a safe journey home,” I said to Kai, as we both shook hands while the ladies hugged.

“You know you can call me anytime you need me,” Kai said, as he threw his hand around Jessica's neck and both starts walking out of the door.

“They both look good together,” Ashley said smiling at me.

“Trust me we look better,” I said playfully and we both laughed.

“What if as your king I order you to strip for me now, would you obey me?” I said teasingly as I throw my hand around her waist.

“Well, I will say my king, you can get all your heart desires after the meeting with our people,” she said.

“Well then, let's get this meeting done with,” I said as I held her hand and we walked side by side out of the house.
