Chapter 37: Chapter 37

Terry's pov:

With our plans all figured out we shift and back to my car. We walk back to the car through the woods all of us in our own thoughts about tonight. Yes we are doing it tonight. I am afraid if we don't do it tonight we will not get another chance. So tonight it is. I can feel Dakota getting excited along with me. This is going to be a new adventure for us a chance to go to her on our own and to show her how we feel. Hoping she feels the same. I know it is Chrystal in my dreams I may not see her face but I know those legs anywhere. Legs I have been dreaming about wrapping around my hips. Legs that go all the way up and make a perfect a.. Man what I would not do to get a feel of that firm a.. in my hands right now.

We get to the car and shift back to our human selves and I walk to the rock and get my keys to pop the trunk so we can get our clothes and get dressed. No one has said anything yet still in our own thoughts about tonight. It's a lot to think about we are fixing to go against the alphas orders. But I am soon to be alpha and I want answers, answers about what we are protecting on that mountain. It is not just Chrystal there has to be something else not being told to us.

We all get in the car and head to the hardware store to get supplies we may need tonight. We could probably get what we need at the pack but I am afraid if we get it from the pack it may raise suspension. We head to the rope and buy all they have; hope eight bundles will be enough? We put the bundles of rope on the counter and the man behind the counter gives a questioning look. We just shrug and give him our mischievous smile. He just shakes his head probably thinking "kids." If he only knew how much trouble we are fixing to get into I am sure he will run to the alpha (my dad) and tell on us.

We get out of the hardware store and head to my car. As we get to my car five vehicles passed us towards the mountain. There was one SUV, tinted out, in front then three four wheel trucks with about eight guys in each then another tinted out SUV following the rear.

We all watch the vehicles pass us before Chris turns to me and ask with a worried look on his face "are we still doing this?"

Those vehicles had nothing but men in them, men almost as big as Thor but that is not going to stop me. This is just more proof there is something going on on top of that mountain and I plan on finding out what it is. And the bonus being I get to see my dream girl in person. I tell the guys this and they shake their heads and we get in the car to head to the pack house to get our plan started to action.

We get to the pack house and we get out. Chris and Bryar head in to scope out where everyone is. They link us that the coast is clear and me and Mark get the rope out and take it out back to the woods close to where the fog starts. We put the rope on the ground and cover it with leaves best we can so no one will notice it and then head to the house to get ready for tonight.

We get into the house and head to our rooms to get ready for tonight. I can feel the adrenaline pumping through my veins right now. I am ready for anything. I get to my room and head to the bathroom and turn the shower on and then turn around to strip. I go to the drawer and get the soap out that has no scent and get into the shower. We need to hide our scent because we do not know what we will run into on our way up that mountain not to mention what's on top of that mountain. I know Alpha Thor will be up there plus the others we seen go up in the vehicles that passed us as we got out of the hardware store.

I get done in the shower and step out and grab a towel to dry off. I wrap the towel around my waist and head to my room. I look to the clock and it is telling me it is almost dinner time. I head into my closet and grab my combat clothes and boots. I get dressed; I am now in all black, hoping this will help blend in with the dark. I look at myself in the mirror and satisfied with what I see I turn to my door. I open it in time to see the others waiting for me. Dressed the same way I am we all head to the dining room for dinner.

We get to the dining room and head to the buffet table. Mom always sets our meals up buffet style she says it's the easiest way to feed us because it is hard to get us all here at one time. I can feel my dad's eyes on me as I am grabbing my food so to not get his curiosity up any more with my food in hand I head to his and my mom's table and sit down and start eating.

I can still feel his eyes on me every once in a while so I look up to him and say "what's up." I make sure there is nothing showing in my eyes when I look up to him.

"I don't know you tell me? Where are you boys headed tonight?"

I just shrug my shoulders like it's no big deal and then respond "we just thought we would go out and check the borders. Get some practice in." He stares at me for a little bit but say's nothing. I finish eating and pick my plate up and head to the kitchen to clean it and put it in the dishwasher making sure I give nothing away, the boy's follow suit with me. We head out the back door and head off to the woods. To keep dad from suspecting anything we head to the border and check with a few guards and make sure everything is okay. We figured dad would mind link some of the guards and this way we covered our buts.

We run the border for a bit until we think it is dark enough out and head to where we dropped the ropes.
