Chapter 25: Chapter 25

I think we're alone now - By: Tiffany

"Children behave" that's what they say when we're together

"An watch how you play" they don't understand

And so we're running just as fast as we can holding on to one anothers hand

Trying to get away into the night

And then you put your arms around me as we tumble to the ground and then you say

I think we're alone now there doesn't seem to be anyone around

I think we're alone now the beating of our hearts is the only sound

Look at the way we gotta hide what we're doing

Cause what would they say if they ever knew

Terry's pov:

I went running out of the woods towards her scared for her safety, just knowing she was going to break her neck, screaming "no". But she could not hear me her next song came on which was "I think we're alone now by Tiffany." I am almost to her when she hits the ground only it is not her body that lands it is a pure white wolf. I mean no speck of any other color on her just pure white. This is the rarest of rarest of wolves they do not exist anymore. Humans have hunted them down to extension but here in front of me is one and she is beautiful.

Selene did not hide anything from me this time I am seeing all of her wolf form. Does this really mean that she is my mate she is meant for me and me alone? I feel so blessed that I not only have an ancient wolf inside me I also have a rare mate. Yes I am truly blessed.

I look into her eyes and for some reason they look familiar to me, but I just cannot place them right now. I bend down and hold my hand out to her slowly to show her I mean her no harm. She steps forward warily and with her nose she smells my hand and satisfied I mean them no harm she comes closer and puts her head in my hand and I start to pet her. Oh man her fur is so soft, I just keep running my fingers through her fur when she finally nudges me with her nose and I stand up to try to figure out what she wants. She then rubs her body up against my legs then turns and starts to walk towards the woods. She looks back at me and with a smile, yes she is smiling, on her face and then she takes off running through the woods.

"Okay I can take a hint. It is time for me to play" says Dakota with a laugh.

This time there is no fighting him he takes full control and we shift and head into the woods after our mate. We finally catch up to her, she is definitely fast, and the fastest I have ever seen for a she-wolf. But not faster than Dakota because he caught her and we ran through the woods playing catch for most of the night until she leads us to a small spring and we drink from it. We get our fill of water and she takes off again but this time it is not at a full run. We stay behind her like good mates should do keeping an eye for any danger that might come our way. We will protect our mate with our lives.

Occasionally she would stop and circle us and rub her body over ours. Then she would use her nose and put it in our neck getting in our scent and then she would rub her neck into ours like she was hugging us. Every now and then she would allow us to rub against her, we do this to rub our scent up against the wolf so all other wolves would know that they have a mate, this does not work on the human part of us that is why we usually have to mark them then our scent goes through their blood stream and then the human part can smell the other wolf on them. When we take our nose into her neck and get a good scent of her, she smells like lavender and sweet strawberries. One of my favorite foods, I cannot get enough of her scent it is driving me crazy right now. I do not see how Dakota is holding back right now, I am glad he is stronger than me right now. Because all I want to do right now is take her here and now and mark her for my own.

She leads us to a cliff overlooking a water fall with the roaring river way beneath us. She circles us one more time then she lies down and sighs in contentment. I circle her and use my nose to get one more good scent of her and then settle down behind her. We are a little bigger than she is so we use our body to shield her from any danger that might come our way. We nudge as close as we can to her and listen to her breathing, we listen until we hear her even breath letting us know she has fallen asleep. While listening to her even breathing me and Dakota fall asleep next to our beautiful mate with not a care in the world, because I found my mate and she is everything to us.
