Chapter 22: Chapter 22

Terry's pov:

I did not find anything I wanted to buy her so I say to Mark let's go get some lunch and think on what to get her. So we head to the food court I decided on burgers so we headed to the burger joint. We walk up to the counter and there in front of us is the rogue we seen in the woods the one that said he was waiting for the queen. We order and while we are waiting for our order in line I go up to the rogue and introduce myself and he bows his head out of respect and tells me his name is Harry. I ask if we can meet and if he can answer some questions I have. He goes ahead and writes his phone number down on a piece of paper and hands it to me then turns around to get our order that was done.

We go to a table that is empty and sit down. "What was that all about? Why did you get his number?" Mark asks.

"Well do not recognize that man? I mean I know he has changed a lot since the last time we saw him" I say.

So Mark looks up at the man and starts looking hard at the man working at the counter and I see on his face where he finally recognizes the rogue only he is not a rogue anymore. How can he go from rogue one day and a normal man in less than a week later? Don't get me wrong rogues are men it's just they are usually dirty and have a death smell to them with red eye's. This man is cleaned up with no smell; thank the moon goddess for that I don't think I could have eaten here.

"Oh man it's that rogue from the woods the other day. Man what has happened to him it's like he was never a rogue" Mark whispers to me.

"I know right this is what I have been telling you" I say laughing looking at his jaw open "close your mouth man before you get something in there you do not want."

Mark closes his mouth and shakes his head now I can see he is thinking the same things I am. We go ahead and start to eat in silence with our minds trying to wrap around what has been happening to our town while it seems we have been asleep. In our own little worlds of teenagers. Well my eyes are open now and I want answers to my questions and I am going to start with this ex-rogue.

With my thoughts done with this rogue and when I am going to call him and set up a time to get together with him I drift back to Chrystal and what am I going to get her to replace her broken walk-man. Then it hits me a phone I can download what I want and then she can also download what she wants to add to it. Plus I can give her my phone number maybe she will call me.

"And what makes you think she wants to call you?" Dakota says laughing at me

"Keep it up and I can make sure you never see her again, I know there is something you are not telling me and by you not telling me I can stay away from her" with that being said he goes to the back of my mind and sulks.

So with the thought of the phone idea I tell Mark. We get done eating and head to the phone store. I get the best one they have cause I remember she is heading overseas and I want to make sure she can call me if she wants to. Not that she will but a man can dream.

With the purchase in hand we head out of the mall and to my car. "How about a work out?" I ask.

"Sounds good to me. I need to do something to get all of these questions out of my head. Are we going to tell Bryar and Chris about things?"

"Yea I think we should maybe with all of us putting our heads together we can come up with some ideas and answers to our questions"

I start the car and head out of town to our pack, I agree with Mark a good work out will help me get some of these questions out of my head and maybe even the mysteries girl Chrystal. We get to the pack house and I park my car I tell him I am heading in to go to my room to change clothes and I will meet him at the training field. With that said I head into the house and up the stairs to my room.

I throw the package down on my bed and head to the closet to get my work out clothes on and then head out to go to the training field for some much needed workout.

We work up a sweat till almost dark time and then I hear my mom through the link telling me it is dinner time. So we call it quits and head to the house to eat. On the way to the house I link mom and tell her we are going to eat in the kitchen because we are all sweaty from our workout and I don't want to take a shower yet because I am starving. She just laughs at me and says okay.

We get to the kitchen and mom had already fixed us both a plate and had it sitting on the island for us. I go ahead and wolf down my food and tell Mark I am going to go upstairs to take a shower and go to bed.

I am exhausted from the day we had and the training. I go ahead and head up to my room and close the door and head to the bathroom to turn on the shower. While I wait for the water to get warm I go ahead and brush my teeth then take off my clothes and put in hamper then hop in the shower and let the warm water cascade down my achy muscles.

My mind starts to go to Chrystal and the songs she had on her player and try to decide what kind of music I want to download for her that she may like. Getting frustrated cause I cannot seem to think right now I finish washing up and get out. I head to my closet and put on some pajama bottoms and head to my bed.

Oh how I hope my dream girl will come to me tonight, I need to see her to feel her energy. Seeing her always seems to calm me and Dakota down. I have never attempted to come out of the shadows to confront her, I have always stayed in the shadow's observing her from afar but tonight I want to touch her, to feel her body next to mine.

With her on my mind, I plop down on my bed and before I know it I am fast asleep.
