Chapter 64: Chapter 64
Andrew POV ¶¶
"Andrew, you have been very preoccupied since you got back from the hospital?. Is it your injury?. If that's the case then, get some Medocs!. No, days off!. We are running a huge corporation, so you better get serious!."
My dad, Mr. Michael handheld ruled,
"Is this man my biological father?!."
I gazed at him drifting at his heartlessness. I needed some days off to set my self up!.
"I was informed that the lady is back and she has signed the papers. So, we will be expecting her tomorrow. You have to organize a quick meeting for us tomorrow!."
My dad requested
I didn't say anything.
I was fed up!.
"I will like you to go and take the Lady at the airport tomorrow. I want it to be fast and straight!."
My dad said.
"Dad, you aren't serious!. Right?!."
I turned on
"Oh, no I am!."
He returned
"Dad, she is coming from the next town. It is not like she is coming from a foreign country!. All this is extremely!. I won't keep up with this. She might come in her car!.".
I wasn't understanding his problem. He just wanted to kill me with work!.
"You are right!. But the issue is, it's her first time coming to our headquarter at our expenses. Since it's her first time, let's give her a nice treat. She the first female CEO of H.L.C. Don't forget to invite the press, reserve in a nice hotel five stars If possible, and get a driver to go get her. We already booked a flight!. I would have used our private jet but the pilot isn't around!."
Mr. Michael explained very anxiously.
He had everything already planned in his head.
"Dad, I think, you are overreacting!. Its all this really necessary!."
I wondered, he wasn't always like this.
"We empower females!. Don't forget 60% of the population of our country is made up of females and they are our highest customers. So their opinions matter a lot. This is a business strategy!. Moreover, she doesn't have to know. Just be smart, my son!"
My dad explained. He couldn't wait for the press to get a whole of this.
"I understand better now!. Business strategy!. Good!."
I mumbled thoughtfully.
"Where is your Junior brother?. I am sure the idiot didn't come to work today!. I don't seriously know what to do of him!."
He scuffed slowly pulling down his head in dismay.
"Give him some time!."
I implored
"He is getting 28years old, yet, he is not doing anything about his life!. I think it's better I suspend him from all his funds. And send him to the other town as an errand guy!."
He had a lot of thoughts passing over his head.
"That's is so extremely, he won't cope!."
I said
"Stop talking of Joshua as if he is a child!. He is not a child. Grown enough to talk for himself and to face the consequences of his actions. Last week he was been arrested for driving boozing, nearly killed a miserable woman!. Did you know that?. No!. Just because we spend our time covering his shits, a lot!."
He declared openly
"But dad...!..."
I tried to speak but he cut off my speech
"Shut up Andrew, and get the hell out of my office!."
He yelled at me as if I was some common employee.
"Okay!."
I slowly said tracking my words out with me
"Hey, hey, come back!."
he lowered his voice
"Why is he calling me for!."
I asked myself,
"I hope you have terminated your contracts with those two ladies!. No more submission!. What of Melissa?. I don't feel she isn't the perfect match for you!."
My dad explained
"I did so!. I am walking on that!."
I reply I didn't want to talk much of my privacy. I hated that.
"Great, you need a good calm and naive girl. Not this pervert retired hoes!."
My dad explained
"Noted dad!."
I had the image of a perfect match in my mind.
Though I knew nothing about her yet!.
.
.
At the end of the day around 8 pm, my best friend landed in the country. So I had to go get him at the airport!. With my driver!.
"Men... Let's go get some drinks!."
Sam suggested
"No, no, I have a busy day tomorrow!. You need to go get some rest."
I rejected
"More reasons to go take one and relax!. Stop being too serious!. Busy days will never end!."
Sam instead,
He always got what he wanted!.
The one drink turned into something else!.
