Chapter 46: Chapter 46

The nights I had spent with Jordan wasn't easy. Lots of traumatic experiences.

I can't explain how I felt. All the wounds and scars over my body.

I looked like a living corpse.

Jordan had been so heartless.

He cared less about feeding use anymore.

I hoped to be tried better as I spent the week with him but it wasn't the case. All I had more was the opportunity to bath with clean water.

And I was really grateful at that moment

Foodstuff was getting smaller and Jordan couldn't go back to town yet.

He waited for my disappearance news to get fade, at least 5months before he could step his feet out. As he did with Farina.

Our food ration reduced abruptly.

So one can imagine what we went through as days passed away.

It got worse than before.

.

.

The next morning,

Frank, my kid brother, finally decided to speak to our parents.

"Oh heavens!. Daddy call for the police immediately. We have to get to her apartment. We need more information."

My mum screamed in anguish.

She got really sad and devastated when she heard.

"Grace, Grace what is wrong with that young girl?!."

My dad exclaimed in shame.

While my mum went to her room to get a few things to leave. She couldn't control her self. She got very emotional.

She made a small bag with some few necessities, ready to get to my place!.

After that, she came back to the living room, with her bag where my dad stood.

"Daddy call for that guy!."

My mum whispered to my dad discretely.

"Which guy?!."

My dad whispered back.

My mum gave dad a weird look.

"Frank! take this back into the car and ask the driver to get ready. You as well. You are following me to town."

Mum order.

Frank left as ordered with the bag.

My mum then sat by our Father.

"That guy. Oh, that private detective. The one your dealer of a friend usually hires for his mysterious urgencies. I overheard your conversions!. So don't act like you don't know, who I am talking about!."

My mum suggested.

My dad shivered from his seat.

"No!. No!. No!. I won't. I don't want to deal with that kind of person. We are only business partners. He has shares in my company and that's all. I don't think we need such people in this case. You know your daughter and her secret ways. She might have traveled out of town or doing one or another. Calm down!."

My dad said very decompressed and sure of himself.

"Hmmm, we need them. I know my daughter very well if you do not!. She can't leave her job site in such a manner without telling her friends or any relatives."

My mum instead.

"Woman, you can't understand. We, discussing together doesn't mean we are the best of friends. That isn't someone recommendable. How I wish I knew this earlier before letting him into our small firm. My darling wife, with such people, nothing goes for nothing and I am not ready for such disastrous deals. It's normal, you get worried. but, Grace is fine!."

My dad insisted too.

She got stunned by his reaction.

"No one has seen Grace for more than a month now. Aren't you getting that?!. What is more important to you, than your daughter?!. Whatever, we have money to pay him with."

She answered back raising her voice

"It doesn't work that way. If he reveals you that guy, then you will owe him a service. A service, he will once ask from you In future and it might be anything!. Then you will have to pay the guy in question. We will get another detective if it really serious."

Dad kept on explaining.

"We are wasting time and I want that detective. I am done with this discussion. I will sort my self out no matter what it takes!."

My mum exclaimed.

She got up from her seat and began to leave.

"Don't do anything stupid!."

My dad screamed.

As she was right in front of the door.

"I will if necessary!."

My mum exclaimed and left to the car, where Frank was already seated waiting for her.

"Stubborn woman!."

My dad exclaimed back angrily.
