Chapter 32: Chapter 32
“Ms Britt Coleson, this is your new colleague, Mr Fidel Armando. You both would be working together on cases until whatever." The chief of police announced as he gave Fidel his badge.
“Hi." He said in a strong sexy voice.
“Hello, pleased to work with you," Britt said as she withdrew her hand from his. A surge of electricity ran through her veins making her retrieve her hand in haste.
“Zhavia darling, I'm glad you could make it." Jose Miguel said in his sexy Spanish accent.
“The pleasure's mine Jose and this place is gorgeous." She smiled at him.
“Don't mention it." He added holding her hands as she blushed.
“Aly! we gonna be late, hurry up." Frankie honked her horn in front of Daniel's mansion.
“Calm, your tits, I'm here." She said as she opened the car door and sat inside.
It was their first day of high school and they didn't want to be late, as much as they wanted to fit in, they didn't want to be a part of the popular group or those stuck up plastic barbie dolls. They just wanted to fit in and have friends who would love them for what they were and not who they were.
“I'm sorry Sir, the receptionist, Kassandra Chanel picked up the files she had unintentionally dropped in front of her boss. She bent down to pick them as Xavier walked passed her without a word. She wondered what she had seen in his stuck up ass that made her crush on him.
She sighed and picked up the files from the floor and stacked them up on her desk, still daydreaming about Xavier who had long forgotten about her existence.

“Kassy, you're trying too hard. Let love take its course and cupid do its work." Kamara, her co-worker said.
“But, ---"
“No buts, if he's yours he'd come back to you," Tamara added as they went back to their duties.
“Hey man," Sean said entering his best friend's office.
“Heeey, what's up man, how's Zoe and the baby?" He asked.
“They good, its been a while so I decided to come to say hi," Sean stated.
“Well, I'm good and work is fine as well." He smiled.
“Man, it's high time you settled. You aren't getting any younger you know." Sean said.
“The right woman hasn't come." He defended.
“She probably might have, but you've refused to notice her, your mind has refused to accept her because you painted a different image of the one you're seeing. Who would have thought I would end up marrying Zoe? But years later, we're happily married with a baby on the way. Life is full of choices you've got to make the best out of it." Sean added getting up from his chair.
“Let me see you off, man," Xavier added as they took the lift down. He escorted Sean outside as Kass looked at him dreamingly.
“You've got an admirer back there, shoot your shot man." Sean tapped his back as he got in his car and drove off.
“Hi, you must be my new neighbour." A sexy man said holding cookies and standing behind Myra's door. He had moved in the day before and was going round to greet his neighbours.
He was mesmerised by Myra's beauty. She wore a black tank top with blue bum shorts that hugged her figure. Her hair was held up in an updo. It was her day off from work so she was just relaxing at home, it wasn't as if she had somewhere else to go.
“Yeah, I'm Myra Reynolds and You?" She smiled.
“I'm Byrant Grey." He smirked.
“Nice to meet you, Grey." Myra blushed.
“The pleasure's mine love." He winked handing the cookies over to her.
Daya set her stuff beside her as she lay a blanket on the sand and was about setting her beach umbrella, but it wasn't working. She groaned in frustration as a man approached her.
“Can I help?" He asked.
“Yeah, sure," She rubbed her hands around her neck. The man looked so familiar, he looked like someone she saw ages ago the man she fell in love with, the father to her daughter, Mindy.
“ Chaz?" She called as he turned to look at her.
“Daya?" He said in surprise
