“Hey, how far with Reign's case?" Axel asked Narcia as he entered her office.

“It's getting tougher by the day Xel." Narcia sighed.

“It's going to be fine, no one is going to take your baby girl away from you. No one." He assured.

“Thanks, how's Isla, it's been a while I saw her?" She asked.

“She's fine, just caught up with book signings and book events. It's been a while the gang hung out, how about a getaway this weekend?" He suggested.

“That's not a bad idea though, I'd check in with the rest of the gang then get back to you before Friday," Narcia added as Anya walked in

“Check in on what, Hey Dr Axel," Anya asked and greeted.

“Hi, Dr McClellan, we were just thinking about a getaway this weekend for the whole gang, just to release stress and catch up." He added.

“That sounds fun, I'm in. I'd let Zaid and Zhavia know and get back to you guys." She added.

“Cool, I'd let Isla, Sean and Xavier also know and Narcia you tell Myra and Reign and then let's start planning," Axel added.

“Alright guys, but I have a patient to attend to, so I'd see you soon." She said as Anya and Axel left her office.

“Hey, mom, " Kayla greeted Narcia as she entered the house. "Hi baby, how was school today?" She smiled.

"It was good, I made a new friend today, she's new to our school." Kayla beamed as she hurried to her room. She knew Narcia wasn't her mom but she had grown to love her as her mom since her biological wanted nothing to do with her.

“Hey, babe." Reign came in a few minutes later.

“Hi, you look stressed." She added.

“I am stressed." He added as Narcia brought him a glass of juice and a piece of his favourite velvet cake. She had lowered the pot of meatball sauce and pasta she was preparing for dinner.

“How about a getaway this Friday with the gang, so we can release stress. It's been long we hung out." Narcia suggested.

“It's a nice idea, but what about Kayla and Frankie where would they stay?” He asked.

“Jay and Courtney's, they'd love to have them around." Narcia suggested.

“Besides Zara came down to take care of the newborn twins, so having the girls around to play with Aly, would be no problem for them." She convinced.

“Okay, I'm in, if you say so. A break from all this would be quite fun." He reasoned kissing her.

“Hey Myra, how are you doing ?” Narcia asked her cousin.

“I'm good Sis, just stressed from work." She added rubbing her temples.

“Aren't we all?" She rhetorically asked.

“Well, the gang decided on a weekend getaway, so are you in?" Narcia inquired.

“When are we going?" Myra perked up.

“We'd leave on Friday." She replied.

“I'm in, a little fun won't hurt right?" She asked.

“How's the case going, Kayla's custody?" She inquired from her cousin.

“Not too good Myra, Marcy is just doing this to spite us, but the next hearing would be on Tuesday. I just hope we gain custody of Kayla, I can't bear to lose my baby." Narcia added.

“Don't worry Narcia, everything would be fine," Myra stated as they talked for a while before dropping the call.

Narcia sent a message to Anya telling her that Myra and Reign were interested. Anya replied saying the whole gang was in and that she'd give her more details when she comes back from her night shift.
