Naomi held her chest, which was still beating hard. She was grateful that she did not show her nervousness when she was interviewed earlier. But she also didn't think that she could be so confident when she answered some of the questions that were asked for her.

At this time she began to enter the empty elevator that had just opened in front of her. This building has 20 floors high and she was currently on the 14th floor. Naomi entered the empty elevator and pressed the button for the ground floor.

Naomi sighed heavily. She wanted this nervous sensation to end quickly. She caught her breath and began to close his eyes,

"The important thing is that I gave my best," she thought, adding a smile that soothed her soul.

Ting!

The elevator opened and several people got into it. She started to shift herself as soon as a group of people entered. And not long after when the lift opened again, everyone came out on the ground floor, so did her.

She walked out of the building, intending to go home. Naomi paused for a moment, turned to look at the towering building while thinking how happy she would be if she could join such a giant company.

Naomi lowered her head before turning around and walking to find the bus to take her home. After waiting for a long time, finally, a bus stopped in front of her and she got on the bus. The distance from her house to the office takes approximately 45 minutes.

Along the way, she leaned her head against the mirror and stared at the street through the glass. She remembered what had happened almost two weeks ago. Naomi has absolutely no money to pay her father's debt, which is only two weeks away.

She sighed, feeling heavy. Luckily for the past few days, his father's wares were sold out. But depending on the sale of her father was also not enough to pay the debt.

What should she do?

Again and again, the thought of selling herself crossed her mind. She shook her head quickly, hoping that thought would go away from her. Naomi couldn't believe it, she really stepped on her own pride. “Stop thinking about it, Naomi!” she screamed in his heart. She tried to think again and she thought about Seira.

"Should I just borrow some money from Seira?"

Again she shook her head. She could not possibly borrow money in the form of hundreds of millions like that from her cousin. Should she prostrate again to ask for relief from the moneylender? She didn't mind if it worked.

She continued to struggle with her thoughts until finally, the bus arrived at the bus stop near her house. She hurried down before the door closed because she just realized that other people had also come down. After she got off, she started to cross and walked back to her house. The atmosphere of her house was very quiet because her father was selling outside. She put down her bag and plopped down on her bed. Today was very tiring, she was almost late for the interview because last night she couldn't sleep because she kept imagining the interview that would come to her,

She spread her arms and groaned tiredly. Where did she get hundreds of millions of money in 2 weeks?

Naomi sighed, thinking she had to prepare herself for the day when the bald man came. Of course, she would kneel to that man as she always did with other moneylenders.

She got out of bed as soon as she found out that her father had come home. Quickly, she opened the door and greeted her father who was putting the cart in its place.

"Dad, you're coming home really fast, Lina is buying again, isn't she?" she asked him as Benny shook his head.

"This time, it's not Lina anymore. Lina hasn't been seen for the past few days. In fact, there is a man who has been wholesalers for our wares these days,"

Naomi nodded as she understand, "I see... But it's okay. Well... The important thing is dad's wares were run out," said Naomi while helping her father who was picking up some utensils for him to wash later on. But the utensil was not long held her because Benny took it back from his hand,

"You just have to rest..." he said, making Naomi shook her head,

"It's okay, well... Just helping like this won't make me drop again," she said as she took the empty container.

"Oh I just realized, how was your interview earlier? Did it work?"

Naomi smiled happily, "Father's lattice is right. I was really asked as you predicted,"

"Is that true?"

She nodded,

Over the course of several days, Benny helped his daughter to behave as well as leaked out the questions that are usually asked during interviews. This is not surprising because Benny also interviewed several new workers when he still owned the former company.

"So when will the results be announced?" asked Benny curiously.

"Umm... He said this week. Maybe Friday, so I can work Monday,"

"I hope you are accepted,"

"Amen! I hope it's accepted!" she said quickly.

Benny smiled seeing his daughter who looked very happy and excited. He wished he could see Naomi's smile continues like this.

Alex couldn't stop thinking about what was the result of Naomi's interview.

He was not too focused on the contents of the meeting that had been held earlier. As if he already knew this would happen, he asked Darius to record important points regarding the results of the meeting which took up to 2 hours.

He was eager to return to Jakarta to find out the outcome of Adrian and Seira's decision. Alex was currently at the inn, two days later was the time to go home and he vowed to ask Adrian and Seira directly about their decision. Alex took out his phone and saw a contact whose name was Naomi. He resisted the urge to call her because he wanted to be a special surprise if she was actually accepted into his company. But this time he wanted to hear her voice,

He decided to call her and soon she picked up,

"Hello?" Naomi said on the other side,

Alex was silent, recording Naomi’s voice which he missed every day.

"Hello?" Alex was still silent, even after she turned off her phone because she thought the call was a prank call. He took a breath and stopped the recording. Alex missed her voice so much. He had to suppress his longing while looking at the decision that Adrian and Seira would make. If Naomi is not accepted in his company, then he has to think extra way about how to get Naomi back to him. But if she is really accepted, it is certain fate will bring them back together.
