Tehzeeb barge into there room without saying Taslim "what happened, whose chasing you?" Umma asked alarmed because this the first time she's seeing her daughter walk in like this, before she knows she saw her in tears "Inna lillahi wa-innailayi rajiAAoon. Tehzeeb what happened, who touched you?" Umma asked worriedly
"No one Umma" she said in between sobs
"Then why are you crying,did Bashir said something that offended you?"
"No"
"Then what? If you keep quiet I won't know what's wrong with you" Umma said a bit annoyed, Tehzeeb clean her tears before she told her everything. Which Umma sighed "hummm, I got scared for a while, I thought someone touched you, I could have shown the person his or her place, but nevertheless sorry. I know it's painful to be painted black but take heart dear, it's just matter of time before you know everything will changed. All what they're saying I do hear it but I can't just waste my time on them since it's behind our backs that they always say it. Continue to be patient everything has time, and i promised you it will come and pass. But I don't blamed them rather I blamed that useless uncle of yours that want to tarnish our image but he won't succeed. Wipe your tears" Umma said cleaning her daughter's face. After some time Umma speaks up "why don't you want his people to come?" Asked Umma from no where
"Hummm, Umma am not sure, I don't want in a situation that things will change. Am afraid and frightened, I don't want something bad to happen" Tehzeeb said dejectedly
"Tehzeeb, if fear could disappear by avoidance, it would have never existed in the first place, fight it. The only way to overcome fear is by confronting it. Nothing will happen, and even if something does happen that's destiny. You know man proposed and Allah re arrange. He alone knows the best, so clear your mind and stop doubting or thinking negatively it's not good. Always think positive."

Tehzeeb wakes up early and dressed up since she's going to work. She finished her morning chores before bidding Umma farewell. She arrived early but still yet Maryam was already there "I can't seem to beat you all the time" Tehzeeb said to Maryam smiling
"Oh no you can't, I need to be early since am the cashier and receptionist in charge"
"I can see. Good morning"
"Morning dear how was your night"
"It's was fine Alhamdulillah"
"I can see. Guess what?" Maryam said enthusiastically
"Pleases please, you know am not good at guessing just tell me already"
"Your a joy killer. Well am getting married" Maryam said happily which Tehzeeb couldn't hide her excitement thus she jumped on her "easy there, don't come and break me before the wedding" Maryam joke
"Oh please don't rub that on my face, but nevertheless congratulations am happy for you"
"Thank you thank you" Maryam said blushing
"So when is the wedding?" Asked Tehzeeb
"In the next three month dear"
"Woow so soon and your just telling me" Tehzeeb feign being angry
"Am sorry dear. You know you're the best lady so you will be the one to do everything including the anko"
"Are you serious?" Tehzeeb asked surprised
"Yeah don't be too surprised. So you better start planning now. Cox I need to do even gyaran jiki(physiotherapist) and so on"
"Don't worry that's an easy thing to do. I heard of this lady that's jack of all trades"
"Are you serious?"
"Damn serious. She's expert in Gyaran jiki(physiotherapist), dealer in all kind of Ankara, cakes and small chops. We will just give her the contract and she will send sample of the ankara for us to choose the one we want and gbam she will supply us with everything"

"It's okay" and thus Tehzeeb left Maryam to do her work. During break time Maryam called Tehzeeb and told her that Hajiya needs her attention. Tehzeeb walk up to Hajiya office and wait for permission before she entered "Good afternoon Marmie" Tehzeeb greated because Hajiya Kaltumi warned her to stop calling her Hajiya or Ma'am
"How are you Tehzeeb?"
"Fine thank you"
"It's been long I saw you around, hope you're fine?" Asked Hajiya Kaltumi
"Yes am fine thank you"
"Good. What of Umma?"
"She's fine"
"Alright, well I called to asked you where you're staying now" Hajiya Kaltumi said directly waiting to see Tehzeeb reaction which she got what she wants because she was shocked and surprised
"Humm, hummm Marmie" stammered Tehzeeb
"Don't lie to me,because Gogo told me everything you said, and I don't seem to believe what you told her, so I went to your house and check out for myself. Now tell me where you're staying?" Hajiya Kaltumi said with no hint of smile on her face anylonger
"Humm, we stayed on thesame area with the former one but it's down the lane" she answered shyly. She never expected for her to find out so soon
"Why?" Hajiya asked
"Hummm" Tehzeeb said because she was confused
"Why did you lie to Gogo and why did you not bothered to inform any of us?" Hajiya asked angrily
"Am sorry" Tehzeeb reply faintly
"Sorry for what actually?" Hajiya asked which Tehzeeb did not even know what she's saying sorry for so she kept quiet
"Aren't we family, why did you both choose to hide things from us or what did you take us for?" Hajiya asked angrily "you know what get your things and lead me to your house this instant" Hajiya Kaltumi said because she was pained by what Tehzeeb and her mother did, she thought they were family but no, reverse was the case. Tehzeeb went down and pack her things before Hajiya Kaltumi comes out and they left. They arrived and Hajiya Kaltumi Parked her car before they both ambled inside the compound direct to there room
"Tehzeeb why are you back so early?" Umma asked immediately she saw her daughter before her eyes landed on Hajiya Kaltumi which made her body a little bit weak "welcome Hajiya" Umma said
"Don't welcome me, since you decided to ditched us and keep things from us"
"Am sorry, it's not what you think"
"Then what is it? I thought we are family?"
"Yes we are"
"But why did you keep this from us?"
"It's not what you think, I did not want us to be a burden to you and that's why I asked Tehzeeb not to tell you anything, and the incident happened without notice"
"Am not complaining or did I said your a burden to us, no we didn't"
"We're sorry you find out this way, I never intended for you to find out this way but nevertheless am sorry"Umma pleaded
"It's okay, but please stop keeping this from us, I know even Mamman Khady didn't know of it talkless of Baban Khady"
"Seriously they don't but I will tell them tomorrow In Sha Allah, since it's been long I saw her"
"That's good and about Umaru Tehzeeb uncle I don't think you should leave him. You need to file a case against him, Hadiza can be your lawyer" Hajiya Kaltumi said
"Humm, let's forget about him, he can have the house all by himself, karma is real, he should wait for it"
"If you say so, If not I will like to deal with him"
"Thank you so much and don't worry, we're fine here"
"Alright. I know even if I suggest that you come to leave with us you will not agree, but please let me know whenever something comes up. And I think it's better you tell Gogo by yourself because I don't think she will be happy to hear it from my mouth"
"I will come over by Allah's will but will first go to Mamman Khady place then I will come and see Gogo"
"That's will be better" thus they talked for a while before Hajiya Kaltumi left
Umma dressed up and went out together with Tehzeeb since they're going to thesame destination "I might wait till you close, but make sure you called me first before going home" Umma said to Tehzeeb after they alighted from the car
"Okay my regards to mama"
"She will hear" Umma walked inside the compound while Tehzeeb left for her work place
"Ah who am I seeing like this?" Mama Khady said immediately she saw Umma which Umma was looking at her in awe because she was standing
"Maimuna is this you?" Umma asked walking closer to Khady's mummy tears gleasing down her cheek
"It's me Habiba, Alhamdulillah am getting better" Maman Khady said with smile on her face
"Am happy to see you on your feet, have been dreaming of this day more than years and today have seen it. I can't really say how happy I am"
"I know" which they both sat down "I do asked of you with Tehzeeb but was told you now stayed with Hajiya Kaltumi, even though I was not happy with that,atleast you should have come to stay with us" Mama Khady said
"Am sorry, that's not how things are" and Umma told her everything"you see that's what happened, and am sorry don't blame Tehzeeb, I asked her not too"
"Humm am even speechless but all this happened because I have no leg outside, I could have followed you there and find out,but nevertheless am happy you're both safe and sound"
"Thank you for understanding" they were still talking when Khady walked in and heard there conversation there and then she started fuming blaming Tehzeeb but Umma and Mama were able to make her see reasons which she calmed down. Baba Khady came back and meet Umma and Mama Khady told him everything
"Habiba you shouldn't have done that, you know we wouldn't have neglected you, but that's for the best. And for Umaru I think you should listen to Hajiya Kaltumi and get your properties back, don't just leave him like that"
"That's past, let's forget about him"
"Since that's what you want no problem and please stop keeping thing away from us, I will come over to know the house tomorrow"
"Alright then" Tehzeeb walked in and greated every one but Khady did not answer which Tehzeeb knows she have found out so she pleaded with her and settle down before she left with her Umma.
Tehzeeb was on phone with Bashir talking before he reminds her of his proposal "humm have heard you, and if you think that's the best then they can come over"
"Oh thank you, thank you, you're a life saver, I will inform Amma so she could talk to my uncle's since Abba is not around but his brother can come over"
"It's okay then, I will inform Umma so as to know where they will come, but I think it's will be Abba place since his the father figure in my life now"
"It's okay, you will get back to me tomorrow when you have talked to Umma"
"Alright then, goodnight" Tehzeeb bid Bashir goodnight before ending the call thus she smiled and prayed before turning off the light because she can't sleep with light on
