Mrs Habiba was always monitoring her husband health but after some days and she sees some changes that his recovering she went back to her normal self. While Mallam Audu on the other hand was busy going to the hospital without any of the family members knowing. Gogo Ramatu will be leaving for Hajiya Kaltumi's house today so she's busy arranging her clothes with the help of Tehzeeb
"Mama when will you come back?" Tehzeeb asked
"Soon dear. I will spend some weeks with her and come back"Gogo Ramatu said with smile on her face
"Am going to miss you" Tehzeeb voiced out sadly
"Am going to miss you to my daughter. But we can always talk on phone or perhaps you will visit me"Gogo Ramatu reply trying to lighten the mood
"That's true. I will visit you whenever I missed you and come to spend some times with you"
"Yeah, that's the spirit dear. So loosen up now, you look dull and you know when you look dull your face always look ugly" Gogo Ramatu teased
"Hum hum, am not ugly" Tehzeeb said childishly
"I know my daughter. You're the most beautiful girl have ever seen" which made Tehzeeb to hug her putting her head on Gogo Ramatu's chest. She always felt that Gogo Ramatu was always part of there family. She always feels, that at times why do even strangers seem like they're your own. They come into your life as strangers but gradually become your family. Tehzeeb forget about her though and they continue to pack her things, when they were done with packing of the clothes Tehzeeb carried the bag outside since Hajiya Kaltumi's driver is here to take Gogo Ramatu to the house.
Mrs Habiba, Mallam Audu, and Tehzeeb were all standing in the same place bidding Gogo Ramatu goodbye.
"Toh Gogo Ramatu till we visit you" Umma is the one saying that
"I will be glad, because I want to spend some weeks before I come back" Gogo Ramatu's reply
"That's a good idea. In Sha Allah even if am not opportune to come your daughter and Habiba will come visiting" Mallam Audu said to Gogo Ramatu
"It's okay, I know you're always busy"
"Am going to miss you maa" Tehzeeb said at the verge of tears
"Tehzeeb why are you talking as if am traveling out of the state or moreover more like a goodbye" Gogo Ramatu asked
"It's not that. It's just that I will missed you so much, I won't wake up to see you by my side or even get a chance to see your face every morning before going to work" Tehzeeb said tears streaming down her face. Which Gogo Ramatu hold her face with both of her hands before she used her tomb to wipe the tears
"Stop crying daughter, you're breaking my heart. If you continue to cry like this I can't go anywhere or don't you want me to go?" Gogo Ramatu asked
"I want you to go but I will miss you"she said still in tears
"Then stop crying, I will make sure you come to visit everyday so you can get to see me" Gogo Ramatu said reassuring her
"Amma anyi shirme a'nan, mutum ya garma Amma Bata San ta girma ba(but this is rubbish, someone have grown up and she don't know she have)"Mrs Habiba said hold her chin looking at what Tehzeeb and Gogo are doing
"Leave my daughter alone" Gogo Ramatu said
"Ha, I didn't even hold her. You see if you two are going to continue like this let me go and continue my work, when you're through I will escort you to the car"
"We don't need your escort. My daughter will escort me"Gogo Ramatu hold Tehzeeb hand and walk out of the compound to where the car is parked. Mallam Audu was just smiling without saying anything
It's been a week now that Gogo Ramatu visited Hajiya Kaltumi which Tehzeeb have been visiting her there ever since she left. Mrs Habiba wake up today with a Sevier body pain which she could not stand up to pray. Mallam Audu was worried because he has never seen his wife like this before. So he quickly perform ablution and pray. Immediately after his prayers he turned and place his hand on Habiba forehead and supplicate on her
"A'oothu billaahi wa qudratihi min sharri maa 'ajidu wa 'uhaathiru(I seek refuge in Allah and in His Power from the evil of what I find and of what I guard against)" Mallam Audu continue to supplicate for her
Tehzeeb finished praying and walk to her parents room to great them since that's her second routine after praying. She walks in and saw her father supplicating on her Umma so she quickly went to his side "Baba what happened. Why is her body temperature high like this?" She asked her father touching her mother's body which she whimpered with the contact that Tehzeeb hand makes with her body
"Baba why is she like this?" She asked her father who was busy praying for his wife
"I don't know Tehzeeb. I just wake up and see her like this. I don't really know" Mallam Audu said feeling dejected
"Baba don't you think we should take her to the hospital" asked Tehzeeb
"Let's wait and see. Get me a cup of water let me pray inside so I will sprinkle it all over her body" Mallam Audu said which Tehzeeb quickly went out to get the cup of water her father asked of. She returns shortly and hand it over to her father which he collected and reciet Suratul Nas, Falaq, Ikhlas and Aayatul-Kursee each three times before he open her mouth for her to drink and use the rest for her body. Which she sighed in relief and slept off. Mallam Audu asked Tehzeeb to follow him outside so that her mother will rest, not liking the idea but she had no option than to obey what her father said.
"Go and do your morning duty so that you can come and leave for work" Mallam Audu speaks
"Baba today is Saturday, am not going for my IT program today"
"I know, but you will go to where you sell, which is Hajiya Kaltumi's shop"
"Baba don't worry she won't say anything"
"Just because she won't say anything or because we know her those not mean we should used that to our advantage. So quickly go and do what's necessary and leave" Tehzeeb did not argue further and did as she was told. Immediately she finished she bid her father farewell after checking on her Umma for the last time.
She arrived shortly and met Binta in the mall already so they exchange some greetings
"Why do you look moody?" Binta asked out of concern
"Nothing serious, just that Umma is a little bit sick"
"Eyyah(Alas), don't worry she will be fine. Just pray for her" Binta said encouragingly
"Thank you let's me get to work" Tehzeeb was doing her work gently trying her possible best not to get involved with anyone but unbeknownst to her that Tolani will not let her be
"Oh madam this one your moving like a snail are you sick? or perhaps pregnant?" Tolani asked out of the blue and every one was there looking at them, since it's there break time. Without thinking twice Tehzeeb gave her two echoing sound slap.
"Are you spiritually arrogant or what?Do you think that just because am keeping quiet should give you the room to look down on me or say whatsoever you wish to say to me. Let me tell you, this should be the first and the last time you will spout nonesense from your mouth" Tehzeeb said and was about to leave when Tolani hold her back.Tehzeeb turned and was facing Tolani. Tolani raised her hand to slap Tehzeeb but before she could slap her, Tehzeeb grab her wrist and speak
"It's seems you didn't get my message just now, let me say it for the last time don't your dare try me again,and when I mean again, I mean never in your life and for the hand you just raised to slap me now, I will let it's slide but there will be nothing like next time you fool"with that Tehzeeb fling her hand away and walk out on her. Tolani could not say anything so she quickly leave the place to hide because she didn't know Tehzeeb could be like this.
Binta on the other hand was elated that she quickly walk to Tehzeeb side "Babe you're cool. I swear to God am just, I don't know what to say. You have made my day. Have been waiting for a day like this to come but you have been quiet, but today you were awesome"Binta said raising her thumb
Tehzeeb smile" oh! Binta don't be dramatic am not in the mood. Like seriously I never had the intention to do that, but with Umma being sick I loose my cool immediately. If it's have been like other days I won't retaliate but oh God Umma is sick at home" Tehzeeb said and burst into tears which the smile on Binta face vanished
"Shoo, it's okay everything will be fine. Trust me Umma will get well soon". Binta tried to soothes Tehzeeb because she's a mess. Binta never imagined in her wildest dream that she would see the both side of Tehzeeb she did today, which made her to respect her more
"I hope so. I don't want to see her sick, I wished the sickness can be transferred to me. I can't bare to see her like the way I left her this morning. It's hurt me so much that I can't do anything"
"Tehzeeb do you know that it's a beautiful thing to understand Qadr. Whatever happens, Alhamdulillah it's happens for the best. So believe in Qadr and be prayerful that's all" Binta tried to make Tehzeeb see the truth
"Thank you so much Binta. Am greatfull for your care and concerned"
"It's nothing, now go inside that toilet and wash your face" Binta said in a commanding voice which brought a smile on Tehzeeb face. She did as she was told
Remember there is no one that can accompany you forever
