Chapter 40: Chapter 40
Elsa sighed and went ahead to greet her granny.
“Good day, granny.” She hugged her.
“Oh, my baby. How was work today?” Rachel asked.
“As hectic as hell.” She said and sat down. She side glanced at her sister but she was watching a program on the TV.
“Don’t mind her, she will come around soon.” Her granny assured her and squeezed her palm.
“I hope so too. Just she had never been so angry as she was this morning.” Elsa muttered silently.
“I know, I know. Give her some time.” Rachel said.
“Go upstairs now and have a bath then you can come downstairs to have dinner.” Rachel said.
“Alright.” Elsa said and left for their room.

Elsa sighed and took a seat beside Ellie. Ellie shifted a little away from her.
“Ellie, I know you are angry with me and I am sorry. I should not have said those words to you.” Elsa said. Ellie did not talk or look at her instead she took some chips and munched them.
“Oh, why would she do that?” Ellie asked no one in particular as she was talking about the show she was watching.
“Ellie?” Elsa called her.
“Ellie, I am talking to you.” She said again.
“Can't you see you are disturbing my peace right now? I am watching one of my favorite shows and all you do is talk. Please excuse me and let me watch this show in peace.” Ellie said and looked away.
“Ellie, I said I am sorry and I apologize for my past behavior.” Elsa said.
“Ellie.” Elsa called out. Ellie hissed out and switched off the TV. She stood up and walked past her sister.
Elsa stood up and walked after into the room.
“What do you want exactly?” Ellie asked.
“Ellie, I just want to say I should not have said those things to you.” Elsa said and rubbed her eyes.
“I don’t think I am the one affecting you because clearly I have been fighting you in the past about this but you have never been affected by it so what now?” Ellie asked.
“Ellie, I said I am sorry. At least I know that I have apologized so stop all these. I should have never ruled over you if that is how you want me to put it. I am sorry. You can do whatever you want to do. Won't stop you.” She said in a surrendering manner. Ellie blinked her eyes and sighed.
“I.. I am sorry.” Ellie hesitated a little bit. “I should not have reacted that way, just that you kept treating like I was you kid sister and I did not like it.”
Elsa smiled and looked at her.
“So we are no longer fighting.” Elsa asked and Ellie nodded. Immediately, Elsa tugged her closer and hugged her.
“We’re sisters. Fights are inevitable.” Ellie said and patted her sister's shoulders.
“I am so sleepy right now.” Elsa said yawning.
“You worked throughout today.” Ellie said and pulled away from the hug.
“Yeah, customers were just trooping in and out.” She replied sleepily.
“Go have a bath and you can sleep.” Ellie said and sat on the bed.
“Okay then, be out in some minutes.” Elsa said and staggered her way into the bathroom.
Ellie blinked back the tears that had gathered. But one stubborn tear found its way down her face.
“No matter how I tried to stay angry with you, I just can't. Is that the charm you use? And it worked on me?” She thought as Elsa slammed the bathroom door shut.
“Wish I was you or rather had that charm. You can't blame me. Everyone loves you. Whenever you are with me, people won't notice me.” She smiled bitterly. She rubbed her face and fell on the bed. She stared at the ceiling and closed her eyes then she opened. Jayson's smiling face cane into her head. She smiled and slowly closed her eyes.
Tap! Tap! Tap!
“Hey, wake up.” Elsa smudged her sister. Ellie opened her eyes slowly and saw Elsa.
“What do you want?” She asked.
“You dozed off.” Elsa said. Ellie looked at Elsa from head to toe and saw that she was already dressed in her pyjamas.
“I guess I am the one that remained.” She said and yawned. She stood up and left for the bathroom.

“I forgot to tell you I saw Jayson..” At the mention of Jayson's name, Ellie swerved her head around and looked at her sister.
“Where?” She asked.
“I said I saw him and Jake at our restaurant. They only came to get some orange juice or so and I happened to be the one to serve them.” Elsa said nonchalantly.
“So they came and you saw them. Did they talk to you?” Ellie asked.
“Yeah, if not for the rain, the both of them would have followed me home.” She said.
“Oh.” Ellie said nothing.
“Yeah, also did I forget to say boys are always after you.” Ellie thought inwardly.
“I will be going to work tomorrow early so I got to sleep.” Elsa said and placed the pillow properly.
“Have a good sleep.” Ellie said and Elsa nodded her head at her.
“Hope one day he notices me also.” She thought and went to join her on the bed.
She dozed off after some minutes.
“Jayson.” She muttered.
**Next Morning**
“Good morning.” Rachel said in a sing song tone as she raised up the curtains of the twins room. The both tossed and faced each other.
“Lazy dummies. I said wake up.” She said almost yelling. They both jerked up instantly and looked around.
“Do you intend to sleep today away?” She asked them.
“Grandma, good morning.” Elsa greeted as she rubbed her eyeballs.
“Grandma, good morning.” She mimicked her and shouted at Ellie who was already dozing off again, “Will you get up or I will help you wake up?”
Ellie opened her eyes instantly and sat up straight immediately.
“Eh.. What are you saying? I will be going now.” Ellie said sleepily and stood up hurriedly then she walked out of the room. Rachel and Elsa both laughed at her.
“Oh, grandma, you woke me up.” Ellie said coming back into the room. She held her head.
“My head hurts so much.” Ellie said.
“Freshen up and come to the kitchen for some soothing drink.” Her granny said.
“Seems like the both of you already settled the beef.” She said and looked at them. They both nodded and smiled at her.
“Then I will leave you then.” She smiled and left the room. The twins both stared at each other and Elsa spoke up first.
“I have to prepare. Bye.” She said and went into the bathroom.
