Chapter 33: Chapter 33
“What is wrong with you, Elsa?” Claire asked as she kept trying to maintain the pace at which she was walking with Elsa.
“Nothing is wrong with me.” She replied.
“Do you.. probably know them?” Claire asked. Elsa swallowed dryly and looked at her.
“Yes, I do.” She said.
“Oh my gosh, you know them?” And you are behaving this way? Elsa, I have told you several times that not all guys are like..” Elsa turned to look at her sharply.
“If you mention his name or say anything relating to him, I will leave you.” She warned.
“Oh, sorry, sorry.” Claire apologized. “But come to think of it, where did you meet them?”
“We are classmates in the school we got admitted to.” She replied.
“Oh, they are really good-looking and they look like money, I will keep saying it.” Claire said as she turned back to look at them.
“See that guy with that rare color of oceanic blue eyes and cute face. Wait, I thought they don’t allow dyed hair in your school.” She asked.
“Who told you that? They only accept hairstyles that makes you look like a responsible student and not some popstar.” Elsa said and shook her head.
“Ohh, but he looks good with the white hair on him. Gosh, this is my first time seeing an handsome guy that I could not stop drooling over him. You know, it’s been long since I drooled over a guy.” She said as she kept stealing glances at Jayson.
“And the other with hazel brown eye is handsome too. Shit. They sure match each other. They really know they were meant to be friends. Like you know, people won't be able to choose which to like or love.” Claire said while Elsa did not respond.
Jake held Jayson's hand. “And are you following her home?’ He asked.
“No.. Not really.” Jayson shook his head.
“Just wanted to know where she lives.” Jayson said.
“And is that not like following her?” Jake asked and stared at his friend.
“Gosh, do you know how you are behaving right now?” He asked.
“You are behaving like someone who is love-sick. Even someone that is love-sick don’t behave like this.” Jake said.
“Wait, do you love her?” He asked.
“What?! No!.” Jayson said and scoffed.
“No? You are not in love with her and here you are running after her. What does the mean to you?” Jake asked his best friend who was behaving like someone caught red-handed in an awful act.
“You know, the first time I saw her or rather met her, she did not scream or tell like some others girls at school on the day we resumed.” Jayson said.
“So I just felt like she was different.” He said and shrugged.
“I understand you but at least give her some space.” Jake said.
“I am not choking her.” Jayson snorted.
“Whatever.” Jake said and looked away.
“Wait, you are talking about me running after Elsa. What of you asking about her twin sister, Ellie?” Jayson asked and brought his face closer to Jake's face. He looked at it closely.
“What are you doing?” He asked and pushed Jayson's face away.
“You have not given me an answer yet, hey.” Jayson said.
“Nothing actually, just felt like I could be friends with her.” He said and shrugged.
“Ohh, really?” Jayson asked and smirked.
“Yes.” Jake replied curtly.
Jayson was about to say another word when his phone rang. He brought his phone out of his pocket and saw the caller's ID. It was his dad. He hissed out and dipped it back into his pocket.
“What? Calling you already?” Jake asked. Jayson looked away.
His phone rang again.
“Hey, pick it up. It might be something important.” Jake urged him. Jayson looked at his friend and heaved a sigh. He brought out his phone and saw the caller's ID. It was his mom this time. He swallowed lightly and picked the call. He placed the phone beside his right ear.
“Hey, mom.” He said almost immediately.
“Oh my goodness, Jayson. Where are you?” She asked worriedly.
“Mom, I’m with Jake and we are already on our way home.” He said.
“Oh, okay then. Please drive slowly and come home quick.” She said worriedly.
“Okay, mom.” He said and cut off the call. He looked at Jake and saw his eyes were teary already.
“Hey, don’t cry.” He said and patted his shoulders. Jake looked at him and smiled, “I’m not going to.” He snorted.
“Seems like it is going to rain soon, let's hurry.” Jake urged him and they walked along to his car.

“Gosh, don’t tell me it is drizzling already.” Claire said as she felt the drop of rain on her face.
“And that is why we need to hurry home.” Elsa said and dragged her. They started running.
“That guy loves you.” Claire yelled at Elsa. Elsa looked back at her and narrowed her eyebrows at her statement. Claire smiled and withdrew her hands then she ran ahead of her.
“Oh you, cheater.” Elsa said and ran after her.
Soon it started raining.
“Fvck, it is raining.” Elsa said as she stopped to catch her breath. Claire stopped also and turned back to look at her friend.
“”Should we go under a shade?” She asked.
“No, not necessary. It already caught up with us. If not for the fact that you were talking about those guys, we would have gotten to our house already.” She said as she dabbed the water that was already pouring on her.
“Oh, please, if only you had accepted the ride that boy offered.” Claire said an drilled her eyes at her. Elsa looked forward and thought about the distance.
“No longer far.” She said and picked up her race. “You..” Claire followed after.

Ellie cringed her face and slowly opened her eyes. Soon, she felt the heavy downpour of liquid. She opened it completely and saw that it was actually rain. She stood up instantly and looked around. She saw that it was already dark.
“Oh my goodness, don’t tell me that I slept off here?” She asked as she tried shading her face away from the rain.
“And it is raining already?” She said as she looked around. The honk of a car brought her out of her thoughts, she looked up immediately. She saw a black car with its windscreen wiper moving from one place to another, then she turned back and saw she was still standing right in front of the house. She sighed and hurriedly left the place for the car to move in.
