Right there, she stood smirking. Her plan had just worked out the way she wanted it. The more of an enemy they become, the more apart they be. She smiled satisfactorily. She had just used their weakness against them. She hit it right in the core.

“And let the game of hate begin.” She said as she watched them run.

“Hey.” Her friend called her.

“Are you okay?” She asked.

“Yea, I am.” She replied.

“Let’s go to the dorm.”

Elsa ran and suddenly stopped. She asked a junior if he had seen Shawna anywhere and he said he did not. She asked another as she walked further.

“She is right there with the J-stars.” She replied pointing to the shade.

“Thanks.” Elsa said and was about to run when Ellie held her hands.

“What is wrong?” Ellie asked.

“Watch.” Elsa said and pulled her hands away from her. She ran towards them and stopped. Ellie walked tiredly to meet her.

“So here you are.” Her voice made every one turn their heads towards her.

“Ellie?.” Jace asked.

“For your information, I am not Ellie. I am Elsa.” She said out of frustration breathlessly.

“I only came here to give you a warm reminder, Shawna.” Elsa said and Shawna looked at her.

Why is she always makings sure her efforts to reconcile with Jayson becomes futile?

“Is it because I did not report you to the principal that you still carried on with this stupid act of yours?” Elsa asked.

“What do you mean?” Shawna asked surprised.

“Oh, you want to play innocent, huh?” Elsa said and pointed the papers at Shawna.

“What are these?” Elsa asked. Shawna collected them and went through what was written on it.

“I sw*ar I did not write..” Shawna was still talking when Jayson jerked them away from her.

Jayson read it and could not speak.

“How could you Shawna?” He shouted angrily which made Shawna flinch in fear.

“I..”

“Why??” He asked.

Jake collected and read them too. He was dumbfounded.. He could not utter a word. What was written there was disgusting and derogatory.

“Shawna..” Jake called out.

“Now, let me make something clear to everyone of you.” Elsa said.

“Hey.” Ellie said tapping her.

“Let me be.” Elsa said and clicked her fingers right in their faces.

“Just because you are popular and wealthy you think you can insult and belittle people as you want?” She asked.

“If any one of you come close or even try to talk to me or my sister, I will make sure to report this to the entire school.” Elsa said.

“And to you Jayson..” As she said that, his heart skipped a beat and he looked at her waiting for whatever she wanted to say.

“Stay very clear away from me. I don’t befriend arrogant jerks that are so full of themselves like you, did I make myself clear?” She spat angrily, all this while, Ellie kept tapping her to keep quiet and calm.

“Elsa, you see..” Jake was about to talk to her when she raised up her hands shunning him.

“I don’t want to hear a word from you or anyone because you are all awful people.” She said remembering past event she hates so much with passion.

“Why can’t you y'all leave me the fvck alone?” She said.

“Hope you have taken my warning into consideration?” She asked and turned to leave.

“I am so sorry for her beha…” Ellie was still apologizing when Elsa cut her off.

“Ellie, let’s go.” She said dragging her away. Ellie made a face of apology hoping they would not take it to heart.

Shawna gulped dryly.

“Jayson, I promise I was not the one that wrote that, please believe me.” Shawna begged.

“I don’t want to see you ever close to me again.” Jayson said with tears brimming his eyes.

He hates it. He hates his status. He hates the family he was born into. He hates being part of the Smith family. He hates being the son of Cole Smith. He hates… everything. Yes. Everything.

“I will take my leave.” He said tiredly and before they could stop him, he already picked up his heels and ran.

Jake turned towards Shawna whose face was wet with tears.

“Stay away from Ellie.” He yelled. She nodded and new tears came slipping down her face.

She was heart broken.

Will there be a way to mend it?

And is there someone who can mend it?

“Absolutely yes, there is but..”

She smiled sadly.

“He just told her to stay away from him.” The rest of the J-stars walked away, each with their own thoughts. Even the Playboys felt affected by what Elsa had said.

“Arrogant jerks like you people?” Jake said and scoffed.

“Awful people?” Jasper added quoting what Elsa said.

“Who does she think she is to generalize people like that?” Jeremy wondered.

“Jayson and Jake are the one at fault.” Jace said. Every one turned to him.

“And what do you mean by that?” Jake asked.

“If you guys have let these girls be, it won't have amounted to this.” Jace said and every one looked away.

Jayson stood there on the balcony.

“And to you, Jayson, I don’t befriend arrogant jerks like you…” He laughed out humorlessly.

“Arrogant you say?” He said to himself.

“She said I am arrogant.” He said.

“Am I?” He asked. He staggered back into his room and stared at himself in the mirrorr.

“Are you arrogant?” He asked his reflection in the mirror.

“Answer me.” He yelled at himself and pushed everything that was placed next to him away. They all made a crashing sound.

“Am I arrogant?” He yelled. The rest of the J-stars stood up quickly hearing the sound and ran towards his room.

“Am I? Mom.” Jayson cried. He missed her. She was his comfort zone. She was his abode when he needed someone to talk to. She would always offer her shoulders for him to cry on. She was his… home.

“Jayson, open up.”
