Chapter 66: Chapter 66

"I can't believe you've been out here for 10 years." Nicky says while eating the stew I made for her.

"It was 10 years yesterday, actually." I say.

"Wow, I mean I know it's not what you wanna hear but Im Impressed you've lasted this long, not everyone would. I know I wouldn't If I were alone." She says.

"Ha, yeah well as kids my dad would take us camping and hunting plus I wouldn't have lasted this long without the supplies from the plane." I say.

"Yeah but still, you've done it all by yourself. I wouldn't have thought to do any of this." She says while waving a hand around.

"Thank you, but like i said I was fortunate to crash with a plane filled with things that helped me, especially the bed, there was some flat pack furniture on board and I even found a quilt cover set." I say.

"That's amazing, you really are the luckiest stranded man alive!" She jokes.

"Well now we're the two most luckiest people." I say with a side smile. She smiles back at me.

"So what do you do all day?" She asks.

"Well, I'll usually go and forage, see what's out there. Then I'll make sure I have enough water and boil it, there's running water just a hundred meters that way." I say pointing behind her.

"Then I'll probably read, go for a swim. I've already explored the entire island but I've found some pretty amazing spots I like to frequent." I tell her.

"So, do I get to know of how you ended up here?" I ask her.

"Well, I was on a cruise ship. Me and some work buddies, although i wouldn't exactly call them friends I guess. Anyway we were suppose to be on the cruise for two weeks and it was 3 days in and I went to get some alone time when a massive storm hit and I fell overboard." she explains.

"What?! And no one jumped in after you, the ship didn't stop?" I ask.

"Nope, I bet no one even knows I'm missing." She says sadly.

"Why wouldn't your friends report you missing?" I ask.

"Like I said I wouldn't really call them my friends, they are just work colleagues, and this trip was just a work thing." She says.

"Well at least we have each other out here." I say.

"You wouldn't happen to have any woman's clothes packed away in this plane would ya?" She asks.

"Actually I do. There were baby clothes and woman's clothes, but i had no use for them so I packed them away in the back of the plane. I'll go pull them out and you can go through it, if you like." I suggest.

"That would be awesome, and then maybe after that we could go for a walk, you could show me around?" She asks.

"Yeah sure, I can show you a great spot that's not far from here, it has an amazing waterfall. Are you sure you're OK to walk, you have a little bump on your head." I say.

"Yes I'm feeling great actually!" She says smiling.

I pull the couple boxes of clothing out and leave her to go through it, I'm sure she'll find something.

I go to make sure the fire is still going because we need to boil some water.

After a few moments Nicky comes back wearing some shorts and a T Shirt with short sleeves, I'm slightly disappointed but understand her wanting to be safe from the sun.

"I can't believe how much stuff is in that plane, it's incredible." She says, taking a seat next to me.

"There's a solar power shower as well, and I rigged up a water tank of sorts, to catch all the rain water for showers and for drinking." I tell her.

Her mouth hangs open in shock and all I'm thinking of is stuffing my cock inside it.

"You are not serious right now!" She says.

"I am. Come on, I'll show you." I say grabbing her hand and pulling her along with me.

We walk around the back of the plane towards the cave like structure that has palm trees and vines growing. It's actually why I chose this spot for the shower because it's private, not that you need it being alone here but it's got a great view as you bathe. But it's also a really great spot visually.

"Oh wow, Drew. This is an amazing set up. You're so clever!" She says.

I feel really proud of my work even more so now that she has complimented me.

"Thank you. You can use it tonight if you like, the water will be warm from the day. There was also a shit load of toiletries on the plane as well, I've used most of the soap, but I can make soap from the materials here on the island and what I have stashed away." I say.

"Oh my gosh I can't wait." She says excitedly.

"Come, I'll show you the waterfall." I say grabbing her hand again to follow me. We only have to walk for 15 minutes and were there. It's so beautiful, my favourite place on the entire island.

You can sit underneath the waterfall and just enjoy the view. I hear Nicky gasp and I turn to watch her take it all in.

"This place is like something out of a book." She whispers.

"It's my favourite place to come." I tell her and walk forward a little and step on a ledge holding my hand out to her.

"Come, you can jump off of here and into the water." I say pointing below.

"Jump with me?" She asks with a smile.

"Of course." I reply and smile right back.

I try not to notice when she removes her shirt and is in her bikini again.

We stand there together, holding hands ready to Jump.

"Ready?" I ask her.

"Sure am." She says and winks.

We both go At the same time, jumping together.

We land in the water and kick to the surface, laughing as we breach the surface.

We swim over to the water fall and climb up to sit inside it.

"I love this. I can see why it's your favourite place." Nicky says.

"It's such a cool spot, and so relaxing." I say.

"Thank you for sharing it with me, I know you must not be use to people. Ya know being here alone for as long as you have but, thanks I really appreciate you being here." She says squeezing my hand.

"You don't need to thank Me, Nicky. I'm happy to help and honestly, I'm happy to have the company." I tell her squeezing her hand back.

We spend a little more time swimming and exploring before I tell her we should return.

I grab some sweet leaf on our way back and explain what it is to Nicky she's suprised and loves it, apparently spinach is her favourite vegetable.

When we get back I tell her I'm just going to see if there's any fish in the nets for dinner and head off.

I pull the net up and see its got 2 decent sized fish in it. I put them in my bucket and head back to camp.

"Oh wow, my first proper dinner stranded on a tropical island and I'm eating like a queen!" She says.

"This island is abundant, I've been pretty lucky." I laugh and begin de scaling the fish and putting sticks through them to cook over the fire.

I have a couple packets of rice I can add to tonights meal with the sweet leaf and dried herbs it should be a decent meal.

Nicky and I spend the time preparing the meal and talking about our lives and what we did back home. What we miss, what we don't miss.

"Oh, I am going to miss tea and sugar, chocolate and hamburgers. Awww, that's really gunna suck. Oh no, and toilet paper!" She says dramatically.

"Yeah, that's one thing i wish was on the plane. I miss toilet paper." I say.

She continues our conversation and I find out that she has no family back home, she doesn't really have anyone except her next door neighbour who is feeding her cat. She hasn't quite opened up about where her parents are, I wonder if they have perhaps passed away and it still affects her? I don't push the subject though, I want her to open up to me in her own time.

I feel bad for her but I also feel like I can relate to her as well. I mean i had a few buddies back home that would be worried about me and probably mourned me. I had my family as well but I worked so much I didn't really have a life or a wife or girlfriend.

"Dinners ready, hope you like it." I say holding out a plate to her.

"It smells AMAZING!" She says taking the plate.
