TAKEN thirty two

Allen and Marcus gently brings Clark down from the car. He wouldn't let them come home alone. He said he wanted to stay with his sons a bit longer, since they won't be staying at his place. They assisted him to the door and when they opened it. The shock that lay on their face was unexplainable. Allen eyes widened at the woman that sat on the couch. Clark staggered as he set his eyes on Bella, Marcus held him for balance. Bella rose to her feet as her face write surprise seeing these three together. Wherever Allen met  Marcus and Clark she didn't know. But this isn't looking real. At all.

Flora stiff at the looks on all of their faces,they didn't seem too happy to see each other. The two brothers and father were still at the door looking directly at the woman she had brought in, Allen's mother. They were all so surprised and she really looked confused. She didn't understand the sudden change in mood. She wish she could ask. She also wished she had not done something wrong.

Allen moved from his father's place as he walked slowly to meet his mum. How the hell did she know this place? Why was she here.

"Mum?" his tone was trying to confirm if she was the one. Obviously, he would recognize his mum any single day. Bella gave a weak smile to Allen, she was happy to see her son, but there's a lot of explaining he has to do. Firstly, she recognized Stella, but she didn't know what she was doing here, cause where she has met her that day was not to be said of. Secondly, Marcus was here! Her first son was here! How did Allen meet him! When did they talk? And Clark too? He was with his two sons. How could he still be so warm ti talk to them. After all he made her go through.

Bella was home that night when Clark had brought her in. She was with her luggage, she was with so much confident. It was his new wife. After Clark started cheating on her and she has been keeping up with it for a year, she got fed up and decided to file a divorce. She wanted the custody of her children. She wouldn't let Clark or any other woman take care of her child. But when Marcus decided to stay with his father and Allen decided to stay with her. Things got complicated. The court agreed on it. She couldn't say a word. She wanted to stay in the same state so as to monitor Marcus, but she couldn't bear to see Clark and her together. They seemed very happy. She had seen them that day, Marcus was do happy with the woman and they seemed to be having fun. That day, she decides to leave with Allen. She has been living fine since then.

Well...

"Mum. What are you doing here?" Allen holds his mum. She looks up at him. He knew she was confused about the whole thing. After all, she didn't even know that he was living with Marcus and his wife and now his father again. He knew how betrayed his mum would feel right now. She had always sulked on how Marcus chose staying with another woman over her and it really pained her to see him with that same man.

"What's going on?" she managed to ask.

All of them sat down on the chair in the living room as they stare at each other in silence.

"I texted the address to your mum to come over. I thought you would be cool with it.." Flora broke the silence. These family mood was definitely her fault.

"No. Its fine" Allen was not trying ti blame her, they all just seemed shocked rather than surprised.

"At last Clark. Right? Finally stole Allen from me too. Do you all live here? Am I the only one left out in this? Tell me Allen" Bella was starting to piss.

"Mum."

Bella heart skipped as Marcus called her that. Its been years. So long. Too long. He still called her mum. He really did. "Dad didn't steal me away from you. It just happened"

"Bella" Clark called and let out a cough. Flora passed him a glass of water before he could continue. "I'm happy...to see you" he confessed.

Bella wouldn't lie that his words didn't touch her, if she had heard this few years earlier. It would have made so much sense. She would have given him more chance to say that everyday. But he didn't. Instead he made that woman take all her rights. She even had to stalk them to some extent.

"No. You're not" As much as she wanted to hear the words. She didn't believe them.Or maybe she just wanted to make him say it again. "You're not happy to see me. So don't lie to me!" she yelled.

"We need to talk.A lot of things are meant to be said" Clark said

"Talk about?. I have nothing to say to you Clark!"

"Mum. If you would just listen!" Allen shouted. He was shocked he did. But he really needed them to settle any dispute left of them. He was so happy to see his father. He has never been happier. He needed his mum too, to be happy. He knows how much she had craved his presenit.. All she did was just a fumble. And if scolding her would make her listen, he would voluntarily do it
