Let's take a quick rethink.

'To be honest'her thoughts refreshed. She really was pained by Allen's words.

He chattered her expectations. His words weren't a waste of time. What if he actually said what he saw. She was just being hard on him and on herself. But he had not right so say that, he was the one that just complimented her back view, how could someone compliment what he didn't like. Or was it just an irony?

"I'm not attracted to you too" she hoped it was a good comeback to what he said, but it was poorly said as her voice gave a little crack and pain in it, making her seem like she was begging for his attraction, but definitely she won't do that. She loved Yvonne and she's really not interested in guys.

Her attraction with Yvonne might have taken long to accept, she had to fight herself and a lot of people to be able to go on with a relationship like that. But as long as she found happiness in Yvonne, she would stay. As long as they wanted.

He chuckled at her reply "Yvonne Michael. That's her"

Flora wrinkles settled on her nose as she frowned at the name Allen mentioned. A surprise also slides her brow sideways as she wondered how he got hold of that name. But he was the boss. He could do anything on that seat. "She was on this seat before me and due to some mistakes she was suspended. I looked into it after we talked yesterday. " he said. She gave a small smile and turned to go. "I'm sorry for taking your best friends job" he immediately apologized

"She was doing well in that seat!" she yelled back at him pointing her fingers where he was sitting. Her voice broke and a very weak sob was heard. The sudden tension in the room was unexplainable. Yvonne was the topic. "It has nothing to do with her pay, but her progress mattered to me a lot. It was a little mistake that did not need a demotion!"she barked

"It isn't a demotion"He was still trying to calm her mood down. Her face was not welcoming at all.

"She still has to take some of your advice, how is that not a demotion!"

"I'm sorry if.."

"There's nothing to apologize about. I understand how family business runs!"

"I DIDN'T WANT THIS JOB!" If it wasn't for the sound proof doors, the whole company would definitely gather to know what was wrong. Allen's rage grew as he shouted at Flora. She flinch back at his outburst and melt. His fist was held on the table and he was on his feet, furiously staring at her. "I didn't want this job" he repeated "But now that I'm on this seat, I would work hard to keep the job, things are bound to happen Flora and your friend leaving this seat is one of those. There's nothing you can do about it!"

"Yea. I forgot" she hated how emotional she switched and cursed the tear that dropped from her eyes. She rushed out of his office and he grunts loudly kicking his desk. Its been so long he had let out this side of him. He hadn't shouted at anybody since he left his place to start living with his brother, but he hated how Flora blamed him for Yvonne's fate. He apologized immediately so as to stop the awkwardness between them both, but Flora was letting too much of anger over her best friend and was really overreacting.

Or was he overreacting?

He hated that Flora was to see the other side of him,hated that her guts pushed him to this, hated why she was so persistent on taking him out of that seat.

After she had talked about him not having enough worth in work. He had asked for information on the last person for the post, he had read Yvonne file and saw how hardworking she had been, to top it, Yvonne was basically there when Marcus started. She had started and worked with them for years. Yes it was worth the pain and he knew she would be so annoyed that all her hardwork didn't pay at the end, but it was only a suspension and she was appointed the head of her department. Marcus kept him on this post because of his versatile experience and he commends Yvonne work, but he could boast of his professionalism beside her. He isn't just a product of family business. He's an hardworking business man who has spent his entire life adding benefits to every company he stepped on.

Marcus who took him away from Jay his friend saw more than what others are seeing now. He was smart and he helped Jay win over a rivalry deal he had with Marcus.

Marcus snatched him from Jay only for family benefits.

He was worth every sit in this company and even more. Flora agrees or not!

The walk was going well.

Marcus summoned the little courage in him to hold his wife's hand as they walk down the street. She chuckled and held his hands tighter.

"You're becoming all sweet Marcus" she complimented

"I thought of why we grew apart-"he started

"-we did not grow apart" Stella cut in and corrected him. "We only have sex issues and taking a walk wouldn't solve that"

"What will?" He stopped and asked her. She stopped too and stared at him, he was being too emotional for her and she didn't like this side of him, she kind of liked when he didn't know about their sex issues, she blamed herself for bringing it up, how was she supposed to know an improvement for him to satisfy her on bed. She moved closer to him and cup his face on her hands. "We would get over it" she assured him.

"If my weight is really a problem, I got into a fitness class and this will all be over"

"You got into a fitness class?" she asked and laughed for some time "Oh darling, that's sweet of you" she chuckled again roaming her eyes down his body to check him out. "That's a good start Marcus."

He really saw what Stella said as a sarcastic compliment. He wasn't happy with what he heard. He didn't see any genuineness in it. Or was he just feeling that way?

"I would still give you a baby regardless of your getting fit"

She seemed stuck up on giving him a baby. Yes he wanted a baby, but he didn't want to force a baby, he wanted to have a good time with the woman he married and he wanted a love product. He didn't want a planned night to have sex just for a baby. If it would take him long to get fit, he would wait. He definitely wanted to satisfy Stella on bed like he used to.

"Its not about the baby Stella. Its about us. When did all this start! You should have cautioned me earlier when I started gaining weight"

Stella seized for a second as Marcus question hit her. When did all this start really?. She married Marcus because she loved him, because he could take care of her, he was attractive and good in bed. What changed!?

Her mind stiff again as she remembered that night. It was when Spencer came into the picture!. There she lost every interest in having sex with Marcus. He was her better man. Now Allen?
