Chapter 92: Chapter 92
I took a deep breath to calm myself. I can do this.
“Of course, they are going to pay for everything. But what did those idiots do now?” I asked ferociously.
“A friend of Sydney’s saying that my daughter deserves to die and can be in hell. I won’t be angry if she talks about me. But this is about my daughter. No one dares to talk about Cassie to me like that.” Dorothy shouted and kicked a table down in anger.
If I were in Sydney at this moment, I will try to calm her down. Uh...never mind. I won’t help her because she’s Dorothy.
“Why are you bothered about this? They will all be dead tomorrow at this time. You’d rather think of a way to make them suffer more.” I replied without caring about the mess she made in the room.
“You are right. I get it. We should think about tomorrow. Now, where’s the stake to kill Jacen and Noah?” she asked, opening up her hands. I have no idea where it is? I only imagined what Jacen told me when he sneaked through this room. How can I find the stake without a clue?
“It’s here. I was the one who kept it.” I said, turning towards the open cupboard. I touched every object, searching for it.
“You look so confused. When did you start having amnesia, Pamela? After you died?” Dorothy made fun of me without doubting my actions.
I turned and glared at her. “I won’t be dead for so long. Remember that.” I have a serious expression on my face, like I really died. I got the feeling by remembering the moment I came to know that Dorothy poisoned me.
“Fine. Sorry. I was just kidding.” She told. Suddenly I felt my hands touch something. It feels like a big box. This is how Jacen explained to me.
“I got it.” I excitedly said and took the box in my hands. I opened it to see four sharp stakes. I can’t let Pamela or Dorothy use it to kill Jacen and Noah. How can I get rid of it?
“Good. Keep it safe. You are going to use it tomorrow. I know you wanted to kill them by yourself.” Dorothy said, giving me a bright smile. I smiled back and looked at the box of stakes like it was a hidden portal to Slateville. That’s how I will get a satisfying look on my face.
“Okay. I can’t wait for tomorrow. Everything’s going to be perfect and unforgettable.”
“Yeah. Don’t forget the moment when you are going to be the Queen instead of Victoria. That will be the best moment too.” I spoke.
“How can I forget that? After Sydney and her friend’s death, it will be pretty easy to get my place on the throne. My sister will be heartbroken to fight for her throne. She will be devastated by her daughter’s death.”
Ha-ha...her daughter is standing right in front of you, stupid. You won’t have a little clue about this. Never.
“Oh, yeah. It will be a pleasure to watch that.”
After a pause, I came to the point. “We all know Sydney’s going to die tomorrow. But what’s the hall of mirrors? Queen Lilith is powerful to the core. How come a hall brings her fear?” I casually asked, closing the box of stakes.
“Uh…you don’t know that, right? I didn’t think of explaining it to you.”
“So, say it now. You can’t be the only ones who know everything. Can you?” I asked.
“I know everything. You can’t be like me even if you tried. Anyway, I can tell this, but I feel like I already told you. Are you asking it again?” Dorothy raised her eyebrow.
Jacen said Dorothy and Lilith didn’t answer Pamela’s question. I may not know if Dorothy talked about the hall of mirrors Pamela after Jacen left. Did that happen? Or.... what?
“You didn’t tell me. Don’t you remember? You and Queen didn’t answer me when we discussed it. My memory is so good even when Iam dead.” I proudly said, believing its true. Do I need to run the hell out of this room if something wrong happens?
“Right. You are so focused on the stacks and didn’t care about whether or not you got the answer. Hear me now. The hall of mirrors is on the ground floor. All the souls who are enemies to Lilith got caught and locked in that room. If someone found a way to open it, that will cause problems to Lilith more than anything. There may be a chance when she even loses all the powers, she collected in all these centuries. All the souls inside the hall have only one aim. It is to destroy Lilith. If Sydney found it, she will release them all. But there’s no problem with it. I used a spell to hide the hall from everyone’s view. I guess you also know the spell?”
“Are you kidding me again? Whether or not I knew it, Iam dead. I can’t use it until I get my life back. I know I have punishments for all the sins I have done in my life. You know what? Iam counting on you to get my life back. Queen Lilith will do whatever you want after killing Sydney. I want you to do that.”
“I’ve thought you never ask that. Finally, you have a wish other than killing those two boys. Iam going to help you. You can count on me.” she assured me. I don’t know how I talked about all these things without giving her any doubt. All thanks go to my boyfriend. He told me the entire conversation happened in the guest room clearly.
“Iam counting on you,” I repeated it and we both heard a high shriek coming from a room. I recognize the voice. It belongs to me. Pamela’s in my body. She’s awake. Oh, my god!
