Chapter 84: Chapter 84
Sydney’s POV:
“Lilith creates all these places. She can create anything like how she glamoured herself. She may look young with an attractive body and a floating black or red gown. But in reality, she has green skin with yellowish eyes, skull studded eyes and razor-sharp teeth. The whole hell is under her control. She can change the appearance of these places in the blink of an eye. Hell looks empty with an endless red sky where there won’t be any daylight.”
“That’s how it looked when I entered through the portal. But I saw our house in a damaged state. I exactly saw our street in Slateville. The only change is everything is damaged beyond repair.” I told Lydia.
“I didn’t say that. I only stayed above the volcano in a cave till Jacen and Kassidy saved me. There is less information here in this book. Even if there’s more information, I can’t read it.” Lydia gave up and kept the book on the shelf. What she told is not enough to do anything in this dual.
“Why are you giving up? We need to help her.” Kassidy argued.
“I told you I can’t read it. I only know the basics of this language. It’s an ancient language created by the original witches. I may have been powerful, but that doesn’t mean I know every language. This isn’t going to work. We need to do something other than spend time in the library.” Lydia frowned and walked away from the bookshelf.
“There will be something useful here. Iam going to search for any books in English. I won’t leave until I find it. There’s no use in walking away.” I told and searches in the pile of books to find any words in English.
“Do you think Lilith will show a way to defeat her in this book? She’s not stupid to help us in her own creation in hell. Her every creation in hell will be to her advantage, not us. At least, you should get training to fight her back.” Lydia said. She impatiently called us to leave the library. I can see she’s nervous. Every minute is precious now. If we didn’t find anything useful. Then the probability for me to die will increase, eventually.
“Wait. Don’t go, Lydia. I have found something. I think you can translate it.”
“Really? Show me.” Lydia hurried to take a look at the book.
“Even I can translate this language. I’m sure this is going to help us.” Kassidy cheerfully said. I looked at it. The book’s title is ‘Lord Satan’. Kassidy carefully turned the first page...
....
Jacen’s POV:
“Where are we heading?” Amelia asked.
“Tell me you didn’t come with us without a clue?” Noah asked her a question in return.
“We are going to spy on Dorothy. I know that. How are we going to find her? Even if we find her, do you think she will gaze at the room and didn’t even have a clue that someone is watching her?” Amelia spoke with irritation.
“Hold on,” I silenced her as I saw someone familiar walking at the end of the hall. We all stopped right on the track.
“What’s wrong, bro?” Noah asked me loudly.
“Didn’t you see anyone cross the corridor? I saw...” I trailed off. Iam not sure of who it is. She crossed the path in a flash. From the physical appearances, Iam doubting its someone who I didn’t want to see in my life. Someone I shot. I think this reference is enough to guess that person.
“Wait here. I will find who it is,” I told them. She gave a perplexed expression. They may think I went crazy. But right now, I need to find the person I saw is my aunt. Iam ashamed to say she’s my aunt. If she’s here, that means she’s dead. She definitely deserves to be in hell. The problem is, she won’t be having any punishment for her sins, as Lilith is on Dorothy’s side.
Noah’s POV:
“Who do you know he saw? He would have called us if it’s Dorothy. Then who it is?” Amelia wondered.
“I have no idea. But he won’t be so serious without a reason. Let’s wait here till he comes.” I leaned on the wall and gazed at the hall. I feel like Iam in a castle in a world where human lives. This doesn’t look like Hell until I saw Lilith. If Sydney can’t win the fight, then I will backstab Lilith by myself. I know backstabbing is done by cowards. But if there’s any way to kill her, Iam ready to do it. I lost my power for Sydney, who doesn’t even love me back. Lilith took my powers and didn’t let us pass to our world. Why am I even having an immortal life if I can’t have anything I ever wanted?
“Answer me, Noah,” I heard Amelia’s voice, which brought me back to the present.
“What do I need to answer?” I blankly stared at her.
“I was talking to you. Don’t tell me you didn’t even hear it? I can’t repeat it again.”
“Sorry. I didn’t hear it. You don’t need to repeat it if you don’t want to.” I said without a slight interest in it.
“Anyway, Iam going to say it. Please don’t avoid Sydney. We all need to support her in this situation. This is not the time to ignore her.”
“Iam not avoiding her. This isn’t the time to talk about it.” I told her and followed the track of Jacen. I can rather find my brother than continue this conversation. She told Sydney not to disturb me. Now she convincing me not to ignore her. What’s she trying to do? She can’t help both of us at the same time.
“Come on. You can’t avoid this conversation forever.” She grabbed my hands. She’s annoying me with these questions.
“What do you want now? I said Iam not avoiding her. Iam trying to stay away from everyone. Right now, Iam in a state of having no feelings at all. First of all, I shouldn’t have any feelings for anythin. Whether it is Sydney or the power I lost. I trying to understand that my brother deserves her. She is destined to be with him. She ends up together no matter what. It starts from their childhood and continues till now. I don’t want to be a disturbance. I will get over with everything once every problem is solved. Are you satisfied? I answered more than you asked for.” Noah talked with frustration. Amelia regretted the moment she decided to talk to him about this.
“I’m so sorry...” She tried to apologize and end the conversation. Before that, Jacen appeared next to them in a flash.
“Where did you go, bro?” Noah asked Jacen, who’s looking very pale.
“We got a problem,”
