Chapter 76: Chapter 76

Victoria’s POV:

Iam nobody. Everyone thinks that I and Peter are in hell. Soon, the council will pronounce Dorothy as the new Queen and Thomas, her husband as the new King. They fixed we are dead. If we are really in hell, that doesn’t mean that Iam dead.

On another side, Iam still in the same room for days. No one’s here to find us. We can’t break the spell until the person reverses the spell. That’s not going to happen. Iam counting on those kids. Jacen, Noah and Kassidy. I know Kassidy will do anything for me. I know I should have tried anything to get out of here. But there’s no time in my mind to think about it. This life sucks. I can’t take it anymore. All I have been through are struggles and difficulties. I never got time to spend with my daughter all these years. I never know she’s alive. Now I got her back and lost her again. This is how it is supposed to be. We can’t change what it’s meant to be. It’s all fate. If only fate has a twist, in the end, to make my life happy for once. At least once.

“Why are we sitting simply? We can rather watch the news. That’s the only thing we can do,” Peter told in frustration and switched on the Tv.

“Are we going to see the news about this academy while we are already inside it? What’s the use of it?” I argued. Peter didn’t reply. He looked at the tv with his jaw open. My eyes wandered over the tv. Pamela is dead.

“What... what’s happening?” I stammered and took a step closer to the tv. Peter increased the volume at the same minute.

“Pamela, Dorothy’s personal assistant, died three days ago. It’s not a death but a murder by a young vampire.” the report said. The Academy is behind in the background. Suddenly Cassie came into the view.

“He needs to be executed to death. Jacen shot her and saved a bitch who was about to be executed to death,”

“Language, Cassie. Don’t embarrass yourself. Get away from there,” Dorothy called her while the live news was going on.

“Iam sorry for the interruption. It’s a great loss for me. Pamela was a great wizard of the year. The funeral will be on...” Peter turned off the tv immediately and looked at me.

“Hurry up. I think we can get out.” He urged me and tried to open the door to the locked room.

“Don’t. The invisible power won’t let you go out of this...” Before I could finish my sentence, he opened the door just like that.

“I knew it. Dorothy did not do the spell. It’s Pamela. She’s dead, and this spell does not affect us.” he enthusiastically said. I saw my husband smile after many years.

“Yes. What’s our destination now?”

“The council,” he replied, and I interlocked my hands with his. He snapped his fingers, and we both disappeared from the Academy. I know where we will be transported. The council meeting.

I opened my eyes to see the view of the whole large hall. Andrian Johnwolf, Countess Bailfang are seated in their seats. Their jaws dropped when they saw us. Dorothy is seated next to them. I know she will be here. She won’t be grieving for Pamela’s death. Why does she worry when she doesn’t have a heart?

“Victoria,” Dorothy muttered in anger.

“How did you come here? Mrs Dorothy told you both are in Hell. Someone needs to explain what’s going on in here.” Countess Bailfang shouted at us. She’s the first vampire in Slateville. She’s in a full black costume with a black leather jacket and boots.

“I can explain this. This is not my sister. She’s in hell.” Dorothy stuttered and lied something unbelievable.

“I don’t think so. Are you trying to fool us, lady? They both are right in front of us,” Andrian Johnwolf questioned her.

“She’s fooling everyone with a silly lie. Let me explain everything,” I raised my voice and silenced everyone.

“Go on, your majesty,” Countess said with respect. I bowed to her and started.

“I have never been to Hell. Dorothy locked me up and lied about everything. The girl you heard about in the news is not an imposter. She’s my real daughter. Dorothy tried to kill her. A witch named Lydia saved my daughter and raised her. Sapphire is the true heir to this kingdom. Dorothy doesn’t have royal power. She’s worshipping Lilith.” I explained a little which is necessary for this situation.

“This is...” Andrian’s speechless.

“Don’t trust her. I have the royal power.” Dorothy argued.

“Then prove it,” Countess challenged her, taking sides with me. Dorothy can’t do that. All she has is the dark powers.

“Fine. What are you going to do if I don’t have the royal powers? Lilith is more powerful than you. I can do anything with her by my side. I can even bring Pamela back or I can kill and send you all to hell forever,” she daringly said with a smirk.

“It’s difficult to do that, darling. Iam already dead and been to hell a lot of times,” Countess told Dorothy, showing her vampire’s teeth.

“Well, let’s see who wins?” Dorothy smiled and snapped her fingers. There’s are a lot of black clouds and she vanished in a moment.

“Where does she go?” Andrian asked us. Everyone’s clueless. This time Countess might have killed her, but where does she run off. It won’t be the Academy. Then where?

“She’s worshipping Lilith. We can easily tell where she will be? She needs help and who’s going to protect her?” Countess gave a clue.

“Hell.”
