Chapter 45: Chapter 45

After some minutes, I explained what happened in Queen Victoria’s room. They all keenly listened till I finished speaking. There’s a silence for a minute and Noah spoke.

“Now what can I do to help the Queen?”

“That’s... I know it’s difficult... but...” I struggled to tell him. I know everyone hates Cassie. But my plan involves Cassie.

“Say it, baby. If Noah is the only one who could help, then go on,” Jacen encouraged me to talk.

“The class is going to start in an hour. I want you to get closer to Cassie and do something which will make her allow you inside her room. Dorothy and Cassie’s rooms are near. If you can do this, we will take care of the rest of the things.” Noah hesitated for a moment. He opened his mouth and closed it. He wants to help me, but being close with Cassie is an unlikable job.

“I will do it. All I need is to invite myself to her room, right?”

“Yes, please. Tell her you want to study with her. She will surely accept it. She likes you. Make her believe whatever you are saying. Flirt with her,” I added.

“Whoa, whoa. I can’t flirt. Not with her, but I will try my best. After that, what are you going to do?”

“The next job is for Jacen. I know we don’t have our phones with us. But I need you to get someone’s phone in our group. I need two phones. When Noah succeeded in entering her room, he will turn on the speaker in the call. We all can hear whatever conversation he’s having with Cassie.” I planned it in just a few minutes of thinking and stressing my mind.

“I guess I can do it. I will use compulsion to get back my phone. So, what’s next?”

“Then Amelia and Issac are going to create some problem with Cassie by going straight to her room. You two need to create some argument and keep her busy till Noah finds the crystal blue key, which can help Victoria unlock the memories of Dorothy.” I told Issac and Amelia, and I turned back to Noah.

“When the argument is going on, put a video call to me. I will tell exactly where the memories will be kept,” finally I’m done planning.

“Okay, it’s a pretty good plan, but do you think you guys can execute it all perfectly? The first step is the problem. Remember, we are playing with Cassie who dares to do anything to anyone,” Leona reminded me.

“I believe Noah. If he can trick Cassie, then the problem is solved.” I put all my faith in him without space for a single doubt. Let’s see how it’s all going to end.

After an hour:

We bunked our history class. “Why isn’t Noah calling me? Didn’t he convince her to let him to his room?” I said anxiously, glaring at the phone which Jacen got using his completion power.

“Give him some time. It’s been fifteen minutes since the period got over. There’s still more time,” Amelia said patiently. She’s always stress free in her life. I wish I could be like her.

Buzz. Buzz.

The phone vibrated in my hand. I stumbled to attend the call and turned on the speaker.

“You know Iam not good in history but if you insist on teaching me. Iam glad to learn from you,” I heard Cassie’s voice on the other side. Noah is no good in history. Well, he’s no good at lying, too. Anyway, he succeeded in the first part of the plan. I can gift him anything after we succeeded with this entire plan.

“Iam happy to help you too. Plus, helping a princess is such a luck to me.”

“Oh, I see,”

“Okay, start teaching me. I can finally improve myself in this. But your teaching shouldn’t be boring. Understand?” Cassie ordered.

“Yeah... I... I understood,” Noah replied, in hesitation.

“It’s time for you. Go now. Noah can’t handle this anymore. He’s weak in studies,” I whispered to Amelia and Issac who acted fast by making their way out of the room. They need to reach on time. Till then, I need to listen to whatever they both are talking about.

“Wait here. Someone is knocking on the door.” I heard these words from Cassie after a while. My plan is going in the right way till now. I can feel the power of planning and imagining is greater than anything.

Soon, Noah started a video call.

“What I need to do now. I can’t act anymore,” Noah whispered, which is barely audible. He looked at us and looked away from the phone, checking if Cassie was still there. I can hear the conversation outside. I need to concentrate now.

“Where are you now? Cassie’s room?” I asked, looking behind him.

“Nope. The hall. There is a three-bedroom. I don’t know which one belongs to Dorothy?” He nervously spoke and his voice cracked a little. The net connection is very low, I need to act much faster.

“Check if the doors have locked or not?” I said, as Noah cautiously stepped to open a door. For god’s sake, nothing is locked.

“Check whether no one is there except you and Cassie,” Jacen told him and suddenly there’s a high shouting voice outside.

“I said I didn’t kill Leona. What are you going to do even if I did?” Cassie’s voice heard louder than anything.

“I think the truth is coming out, eventually. Just accept it,” Issac shouted louder than that.

“I think this is Cassie’s mom’s room. Just my guess. See for yourself,” Noah turned the camera towards the whole room. There will always be a difference between an adult and teen room, which is enough to guess it. Plus, I spotted the jewellery box.

“Go to the Jewellery box,” I ordered, and he approached it. He instantly opened it making a noise.

“Noah. Do it silently,” I shrieked.

“Okay. You said about some key...blue ones...” Noah searched for it. I can’t even spot the key cause there is more royal jewellery in the box.

“Spotted it. Iam ending the call,” Noah excited said, and he ended it. It’s done.

.....

After the interval bell rang, I rushed to Victoria’s room, and I opened it without permission.

“Sydney,” The Queen said, jerked by my sudden entry. She is having some large spell book on her lap and looked at me in confusion.

“Don’t you have any class?”

“Yes, I have and I skipped it because I got the key,”
