I quickly teleported to the front of the palace but I just stood there because apart from not knowing what to say, what I saw still did not enter my brain.

Suddenly events that were destined to happen in the future entered my mind. Images of alissa with a man. their lips were full of smiles and they were both perfect.

I’m not sure where and when those images will take place as far as I know, I’m not that man.

"Go back, you're just wasting your strength kneeling there" I told him seriously but he didn't say a word and just stared at me.

He did not move from his seat and remained on his knees as if he had no intention of giving up.

I gasped before teleporting back inside the palace. I took a raincoat and a change of clothes to give to Alissa but when I returned I found nothing.

I looked around and saw Lina from a distance, the unconscious Alissa.

I just gasped as I watched them go farther and farther away. I combed my hair before looking up and letting the cold rainwater drip on me.

It was late at night and it was getting dark but the heavy rain made it even darker. The only light is the lightning that strikes the ground almost in succession.

Lightning struck the Knoxx manor followed by loud thunder but no one noticed my sudden appearance on one of the balconies in the large mansion.

I’m here now on the balcony of Alissa’s bedroom. The light was turned off inside but I was able to enter easily because there was no lock on the door to enter.

My clothes and hair were still dripping because I got wet in the rain but I just let it go and walked to the bed where Alissa was.

He lay there peacefully and every breath was deep.

I approached his side before slowly reaching his hands but I also immediately let go when the images reappeared in my mind that I no longer want to see.

‘She was wearing a white dress and was slowly walking on a red carpet wrapped in flower petals.’

I sighed and tried to calm myself even though the images that only caused my chest pain kept popping into my mind.

I turned my gaze to Alissa who was sleeping peacefully in front of me.

"I'm sorry" I whispered even though I knew he couldn't hear me.

I reached for his cheek before touching my lips to his forehead but at the same time a new image appeared in my mind that broke my heart.

Alissa stood in front of a man. They were both white and smiling at each other. They both looked happy and they both said the words “I do” but the pain was that I wasn’t that man.

I slowly walked away from Alissa before quickly walking out of the balcony and disappearing with a flash of lightning.
