Chapter 51: Chapter 51

Chapter 50

“Your h-highness… si His Highness Alastor po… He ran away”

"What do you mean ran away?" at once we turned around when we heard the voice of king henrick who was currently unloading the carriage used here inside the palace to get to each courtyard faster.

"Your Majesty" I vowed along with the other servants and royal guards to the king and only Trevas didn't know and continued bombarding the question in the gurad we talked to earlier.

It turned out that Alastor suddenly left when he found out what happened while he was asleep and no one knew where he went.

"Send men to look for him" said the king to one of the royal guards and he nodded.

"How long has he been missing?" Trevas asked.

"Almost 2 hours of your highness"

"In that case, he may have crossed the borders and is no longer in the kingdom"

"I'll send troops to find him" replied king henrick but Trevas shook his head.

"I'll look for him, I can teleport in the shadows so I can travel faster and have a better chance of catching up-"

"No-" I said so Trevas and king Henrick turned to me, that's when I remembered that one of the rules is that it's forbidden for anyone to interrupt the conversation between the royals. Luckily, Trevas didn’t speak and just raised an eyebrow at me to let me continue speaking.

"There are still people who oppose being your crown prince so it is dangerous for you to travel alone"

"You don't have to worry, I'm strong" Trevas said shamelessly and I noticed that king henrick suddenly smiled and often looked rude.

"But still-"

"I have to ask something to Alastor" said Trevas so I looked at him. “I need to know something about him before he can finally leave”

I'm out of breath, I can't really do anything to change his mind "Alright"

He smiled at me before patting me on the head and we just stopped when the king coughed as if reminding him that he was still there.

Alastor walks quietly towards the big gate that is the border of the Beifang kingdom. There were two guards guarding the big gate and they looked like statues standing there.

Alastor is wearing a hood and in his hand has a magical bracelet that contains the items he will need on the journey.

He approached the big gate so the two guards turned their eyes to him but because Alastor was wearing a hood they did not look at him.

"You have a border pass?" asked a guard.

Someone took what Alastor had from his pocket before showing it to the two guards. It is a round token with engraved intricate designs. This is called a border pass and it is used to get out and enter the kingdom of Beifang.

The two guards nodded before a button was pressed next to the big gate and at the same time it opened.

The two guards saluted Alastor but he didn't say a word and just walked out of the gate. He was just a few steps out of the gate when he was suddenly stopped when a man suddenly appeared in front of him from the shadow of a large tree.

Gradually the gate closed behind Alastor but he still did not move in his place and remained staring at Trevas who was now also staring at him.

“You should have just let me leave” Alastor said.

"You don't have to leave, we won't move you if you don't make a fool of yourself"

“There’s no point of staying here, MY mother is gone”

"Where are you going? You don’t really have anywhere to go… ”

"Where my feet take me" Alastor said. "If you're here to stop me from leaving, you're just wasting your time"

Trevas was silent for a moment before he pulled out a small red pouch and Alastor's eyes widened when he saw it.

"Where did you get that?" Alastor asked, shifting Trevas's gaze back and forth to the red pouch.

"I saw this in your room a few days ago" Trevas said before opening the pouch, it contained white powder.

"As far as I know, it's called blood cleanser and it's used to slow down the spread of toxins in the blood" said Trevas still not taking his eyes off the pouch.

Alastor didn't say a word so Trevas just kept talking. ”And first, I couldn't understand why you had this in your room then I realized something. All my life, you have repeatedly tried to kill me with Vivian. But that always doesn’t work. Even your poison that should have taken so long to kill me didn’t work. At first I thought that my blood was really demonic so I was not affected by the poison but when I lost consciousness, I almost died from the poisoning ”

"Is it really just a coincidence that when you woke up, Vivian's poison didn't touch me but when you were unconscious, I almost died from the poison that was just as strong as the fire blossom poison?"

Alastor couldn't speak for a moment before he laughed. "You sure are smart"

"Yes, I'm responsible for why you're still alive" he began. “But don’t get me wrong, I didn’t do that because I love you as a brother or something. All I ever want is the throne and to be better than you and I can’t do that if you’re dead. ”

"Then why are you running away now?" Trevas asked.

“I am not running away… I’ve been thinking, I don’t want to live like this anymore. I don't want to live trying to prove to everyone that I'm better than you. I'm tired of paying attention to king-father just for his attention and to be worthy of his eyes because all this time, you will always be his favorite child and I hate you because of that ”

“Don't look for me, but in case our paths cross, I hope that time, the envy and anger I feel for you will be gone and you have forgiven me and my mother for everything we did to you… . ”

Trevas nodded. “I hope so…”

Alastor nodded and at the same time Trevas also disappeared from his position and left Alastor alone in the middle of the freeway. He sighed before continuing to walk to where.
