Kimberly Brown's POV

"Alex-Sandra..." I called out to my kids.

"Alex-Sandra wait up, where are you two going to?" I called again walking after them this time as they both held on to a stranger's hands walking beside the stranger and not stopping, they only both glanced at me as if I were a stranger to them.

"Alex-Sandra, I am talking to you, stop right there," I called again in a commanding tone increasing my pace so that I can catch up with them, I feel a little weak that my legs seem to be moving slower than I wanted it to move.

"Hey, you stranger, stop there," I yelled at the person whose face I cannot see because he kept on moving without turning to look at me.

"Hey, stranger, let go of my kids," I shouted, trying to run after them this time but my legs seem not to carry out what I wanted, furiously, I picked up a stone from the ground in front of me and threw it at the stranger who is still holding Alex and Sandra's hands.

"Hey, you, Stranger, I said let go of my kids..." I screamed after throwing the stone at him, he stopped and turn to look at me.

"You?" I asked, shocked to see who it is, holding my kids.

"How dare you? Where do you think you are taking my kids, Mr Kyle?" I asked him furiously, now walking closer to meet them.

"They are my kids too, not only yours?" He replied, furrowing his brows at me and then, glanced at the stone I threw at him and then again back to me as if he is angry that I threw a stone at him.

"Let go of my kids," I yelled walking up to him and grabbing Alex and Sandra's hands away from him, but suddenly he grabbed Alex and Sandra's hands again away from me grinning at me too.

"They are my kids too, and you can't stop me from taking my kids, you hear me?" He said glaring at me with Alex and Sandra's hands still in his.

I went at him ignoring the look on his face to try and take Alex and Sandra away from him, but he pushed me away that I almost stumbled and fell to the ground.

"How dare you," I snapped turning to face him again but the person I saw standing in front of me is no longer Kyle but Sonia, "you b*tch, how dare you touch my kids with your filthy hands?" I yelled rushing towards her but she pushed me too away from her, I staggered backwards trying to keep myself from falling.

"Hahaha...," Sonia's laughter echoed in my ears, "Your kids are now mine, mine and Kyle's, so you better start forgetting about these kids because they are mine now," Sonia told me after her crooked laughter and then turned and started moving with my kids again.

"Alex-Sandra..." I screamed trying to run after them...

"Kim..., Kim... are you alright?" I heard someone say to me.

"Alex-Sandra, where is Alex-Sandra?" I asked when I turned and saw Vicky's face staring down at me.

"Calm down, Kim," she said touching my hand, " thank goodness you are awake now, you got me so worried," she added, gazing at me as if I just woke up from the dead, thank goodness, it was only a dream... I said within me.

"I asked where is Alex-Sandra?" I asked again ignoring what she just said.

"Have you been dreaming?" She asked again still gazing at me, I think she is trying to avoid the question I have just asked her.

"An awful dream, Vicky, now answer me, where are my kids?" I asked her raising my voice a little to her this time.

"Hey Kim, slow down, um... Alex and Sandra are alright, besides you are just waking up," she hurriedly told me.

"Have you taken them from that w*tch?" I asked staring at her.

"Yes, of course, they are alright, do not worry too much okay, what you should be concerned about right now is to recover completely so that we can leave this place, I do not like to stay in a hospital," Vicky told me again.

I stared at her for a while, she did not sound convincing at all, "where are they right now Vicky, why are they not here? Tell me," I asked staring into her face, I know her too well to know when she is trying to hide something from me.

"Tell me, Vicky, I think you are trying to hide something from me," I told her again when she did not answer.

"Hide what? Come off it girl, you need to relax so that we can both go out of here, I have taken too many excuses already from work, come on," she said waving it off.

I stared at her still not convinced, even though she says something is alright, and smile but with one look in her eyes I can tell when she is trying to hide something.

"Vicky, I know you too well by now, you know, and if I were in your position right now, I bet you can tell if I am trying to hide something or not, so please tell me the truth, have you collected Alex and Sandra from that Sonia?" I asked again almost pleadingly, gazing into her eyes.

"Hmmm," she said nodding her head, "they are fine, they will be here soon," she told me.

"Stop lying to me, Vicky, I can tell it when you lie about something, if you have collected Alex and Sandra, then where are they? Why are they not here? And do not tell me that they are with Jimmy because I know he must be at work so he can't go with them to work," I snapped ignoring the slight ache I feel in my head right now, "they are still with them right?" I asked her angrily.

"Calm down, Kim, please try to calm yourself down, it is for your good," Vicky told me.

"For my good? How is it for my good?" I yelled sitting up on the bed.

"Lie down, Kim, you still need to lie down, let me get the doctor at least," she told me trying to stop me from getting up.

"What are doing?" She asked when I pulled the clothe that was used to cover my body and stepping my feet on the floor.

"What does it look like I am doing?" I asked her, "I am going to get my kids,"

"Stop it, Kim, you are not strong enough for this," Vicky said still trying to stop me.

"Watch me, Vicky, I am going to get my kids from those people," I told her, making my way towards the door.

"Kyle was here yesterday," Vicky suddenly told me which made me stop abruptly to look at her.

"Kyle was here yesterday, what was he doing here and why didn't you tell me sooner?" I asked furrowing my brows at her.

"I didn't know how to tell you about it, Kim, I mean look at the Way You Are reacting right now," Vicky said.

"Wait how am I reacting? That's by the way, was he here with my kids?" I asked.

"No he wasn't," she replied.

"Then why did he come here?" I asked again walking back towards the hospital bed.

"He came here to check up on you, that is what he said," she replied again.

"To check up on me? And why would he do that instead of bringing my kids to me, why will you even allow that, Vicky?"

"I did not allow that, Kim," she told me, "it just happened that he came here with Jimmy..."

"You mean Jimmy brought him here?" I asked interrupting her, feeling a little surprised that Jimmy could bring him here even after knowing what he has done to me and how I feel about him.

"Yes, Kim, but there is a story behind it, he did not just go and bring him here," Vicky tried to explain to me.

"What could be the story behind it, Vicky?"

"Well, it is a Long Story, Kim, but it should interest you to know that he came here to get you, he wanted to bring you to his house," Vicky told me.

"Bring me to his house?" I asked, surprised by what I just heard.

"Why would he want to bring me to his house, what business have I got there? I only want my kids nothing more,"

"Well, Kim, I don't think that would be the case, according to him his parents did not want to let Alex and Sandra go," Vicky told me surprisingly.

"And why is that?" I asked sounding furious right now, as if it were Vicky who said those things, well I do not know but what I know is that Mr, Kyle, said his parents are not willing to let Alex and Sandra go if they are their grandkids because to him, he said his parents have been looking for grandkids for ages now, that was why they set up his marriage with Sonia in the first place." Vicky said.

"Set up his marriage with Sonia?" I asked surprised to hear what she said but that is not my concern right now, I still need to get my kids that's what I want to do right now.

"My kids are not theirs to keep, Vicky, so I am going to that house to get my kids," I told her and turned to leave the hospital again.

"Alright, Kim, but I think I should call Kyle first," Vicky said again which made me stop abruptly again.

"Call Kyle?" I asked surprised again.

"Yes, Kim, he gave us his card to call him when you wake up and he said he's going to take care of Alex and Sandra that is why he left, else he would have been here with you," Vicky told me.

"Do not worry, Kim I'll call him immediately at least that way you are going to get an easy passage through his gate, not like what they did to Jimmy," she said again before I could say anything and then brought out her cell phone and started dialling on it.

I wanted to ask her what it was they did to Jimmy but I decided to let it be and leave before she could speak into the phone.

I just turned around and walked towards the door again and out of the ward, I need to go get my kids, shortly afterwards Vicky came running towards me as I was about to enter a taxi.

"Wait for me, Kim, I will have to go with you," she told me, I gave her a stare but didn't say anything to her even though I am glad she is going to Kyle's place with me...
