Chapter 88: Chapter 88
I drove very fast to the gate at a speed I would naturally not use because I could not wait to talk to Jimmy whom I believe must be very impatient waiting for me right now, even, Philip, the security man ran and opened the gate before I could get to it, I guess he saw how fast I approached the gate, but to my surprise, Jimmy isn't here anymore like he said he would.
"Where has he gone?" I asked within me driving further a little, looking around to see if he is still waiting around here for me, but still, he is no where to be found neither is his car.
I panicked and became worried, "has anything happened to Kimberly for him to leave?" I asked myself out loud, revising my car and driving back to the gate.
"Did you see the man I spoke to earlier?" I asked Philip the security man that guarded the gate.
"What is wrong?" I asked when he did not reply, sensing that something must be wrong because of his facial expression right now, "what is it?" I asked again almost angrily this time furrowing my brows at him.
"It is nothing, sir," Philip told me stammering a little.
"Did you see him leave?" I asked again, angrily.
"No sir, he did not leave on his own, sir," Philip replied and then looked away avoiding eye contact, he is looking like he does not want to say any more.
"He did not leave on his own," I said almost to myself wondering what he meant by that, "how did he leave then?" I asked him again, my eyes fixed on him.
"He was arrested, sir," He told me in a near shaky voice after I banged my hand on my car steering because of my impatience with him and the rage swelling in me.
"Arrested? Why would he be arrested?" I asked almost immediately, "tell me, Philip, what happened here, who arrested him?" I asked getting out of my car not knowing why I got out anyway.
"It was your dad, sir, he arrested him because he was causing trouble," Philip told me, still in that near shaking voice, sounding afraid, and I know it is because of my dad.
"Causing trouble?" I asked again wondering how Jimmy was causing trouble, "how was he causing trouble?" I asked him again getting more frustrated right now, I cannot believe all this is happening in just a day.
"He was causing trouble, sir, he was obstructing your dad from driving in, I mean he parked his car right in front of the gate asking that we should let him in so that he can get some kids, that was why your dad ordered that we call the police here to arrest him," Philip explain further.
"You mean Dad arrested him for just that?" Oh my gosh..." I yield into the air, how bad can this get? I asked within me and turned around again walking into my car and driving off in full speed back to the house.
Kimberly's kids are forcefully brought home because of Sonia's stupidity, Dad and Mum are insisting on keeping the kids if they are mine, Kimberly's house burned and I do not know how bad it is yet, on top of that she is admitted in the hospital, and I also do not know her health condition, and now Jimmy is arrested by Dad, all because of me, when will this end? I wonder now if I will ever get the chance to mend things between myself and Kimberly, as things keep getting rough like this.
"Dad, Dad..." I yelled rushing into the living room again, I cannot just control the rage inside of me any more.
"What is it, Kyle? Have you lost your senses? Why are you yelling?" Dad asked in his deep voice.
"Dad, did you arrest someone at the gate?" I asked him almost immediately and furrowing my brows at him, and ignoring his questions.
"Who?" Dad asked sounding and looking a little surprised like he does not know what I am talking about.
"The man at the gate," I snapped at him rubbing my hand on the back of my neck, as this whole situation keeps getting out of control and driving me crazy, I think I am going crazy.
"What man are you talking about, Kyle?" Dad asked again, still in his deep authoritative voice, "Oh, that man," Dad said almost immediately sounding like he just recalled who I am talking about.
"Stop pacing, Kyle," Dad told me, but I choose to ignore that, "Do you know that man?" He asked after a brief moment when I did not respond to his statement and staring at me in such a way I could not explain.
"Yes I know him, Dad, he is the man who came here for the kids, Alex and Sandra," I told him angrily, I cannot control how I feel any more.
"Oh, I see, I remember him saying something about getting some kids," Dad said casually, leaning back on the couch and acting like he is trying to relax himself on the couch, I know he is ignoring my feeling right now, I know it when he does that.
"He is a manner less persons anyway and he was causing trouble, that was why I had him arrested," Dad told me.
"Dad you should not have arrested him, he only came to get the kids, his friend's kids, Dad," I said raising my voice as the anger keep swelling and trying to choke me.
"She missed her kids, Dad," I added.
"I got him arrested for trespassing and causing trouble, Kyle, this is my property, you should be taking care of it, not allowing some jerk cause nuisance here," Dad said still casually, ignoring how I feel.
"No, Dad, anyone in his shoes will do the same thing, I mean I will do the same thing if I were in his shoes," I said pointing at him, "Look, Dad, I am going to the police station right now, so call your police men and get him released, tell them to release him this minute," I told Dad, sounding authoritative.
"Are you giving me orders now?" Dad asked angrily glaring at me, "who are you to give me orders?" He asked angrily again, sitting up now on the couch, still glaring at me.
"I am not giving you orders, Dad, you cannot just lock an innocent man up for nothing," I told him still in a furious manner not minding how he feels right now.
"That man you had locked up in the police cell is the key to my bringing Alex and Sandra's Mum here, so you have to call those police men to have that man released, Dad, I am off to the police station, excuse me," I told Dad and turned around heading back towards the door.
"Kyle... Kyle..." Dad called after me.
"Call your men, Dad, I am on my way to the police station," I shouted without stopping or turning around to look at him...
