"Hello, Kyle, Sonia said, coming to greet me acting like a dutiful wife.

"What is she doing here again?" I asked within me, she is the last person I want to see you right now, I wonder why my parents keep bringing her home, she is not my wife yet for goodness sakes, I said within me again, pushing her hand away from me as she came to give me a hug.

"What is it, Kyle?" Dad asked in his deep voice, frowning at me, I guess he saw the way I treated Sonia and I know that he is referring to that.

"Dad...that is how Kyle treats me," Sonia said whining a little like a Child.

Sometimes I wonder if she is my fiancée or my wife or my sister even, because of the way my parents treats her.

"Is that so, Kyle?" Dad asked, turning from Sonia to me.

"Yes, Dad," Sonia replied instead when I did not respond.

"That is no way to treat your fiancée," Dad said again in that deep voice of his, glaring at me

"What is she doing here anyway?" I asked almost angrily at Dad, angry at how they always take her side, it is like the members of my family are blinded by her.

"She is not my wife yet, Dad, why is she always here, why is she always here?" I snapped not able to control the anger that is rising inside of me.

"Kyle, that is no way to talk to your dad," Mum snapped from behind Dad, she was not there when I first came in, I think she is working from the dining to the sitting room, I really did not take note.

"Mum, please, when will you stop taking Sonia's side, it is getting late already, why is she not in her house? Why is she not in her home, Mum?" I asked desperately and continues before she could respond.

"She does not live here," I told Mum desperately wishing they could just end this whole marriage and match-making thing.

"She is here because she is concerned about you, she has been worried sick since you were admitted in the hospital that she could not eat something herself, she would have stayed by Your Side if you did not ask her to go, home she was by your side last night and since we came home she has been worried sick about you she couldn't even go home to her house and yet you treat her this way," Mum said, soliciting for Sonia.

"It is not fair to her Kyle, why don't you try to reason with her, try and understand her, I did not know the reason for your constant rejection of her these days, she used to be your best friend for a very long time now, Kyle, what changed?" mum asked sounding desperate, it is as if Sonia is going through some kind of hardship because of me, I think this is what she made her believe, I looked at Sonia feeling very angry at her, and wishing that I can throw her out this minute because I know she is only deceiving my mum and family members.

"You used to love her, Kyle, what changed?" Mum added and asked.

"Yes, Mum, I do not know what wrong I have done to Kyle for his sudden hatred of me," Sonia said almost immediately Mum finished talking.

"I never loved her, Mum, never have I loved Sonia, Mum why can't you just understand that, why can't you all understand that? She was only my friend until you guys ruined everything by making her my fiancée, she is not even as well mannered as she presents herself to be, she is only deceiving you guys, I do not want her to be my wife because I do not love her," I said, wishing I did not come home with Brian from the hospital, if I have known that Sonia would be here by this time waiting for me, I would have spent the night in the hospital or probably someplace else.

"Stop saying nonsense, Kyle, and learn to treat your fiancée with respect, learn to do something right, Kyle," Dad said, still in his deep but not scary voice to me, sitting down now on the couch, mum too went to sit beside him, it is as if they planned Mr tonight.

"You see what I am talking about, Mum, Dad," Sonia said walking over to sit beside Mum, "I told you, Mum, Kyle hates me now, and you know what the annoying part is, that I do not know what I did wrong, except for agreeing to marry him just as Dad proposed," Sonia said again like a whining little b*tch.

"It is a good thing, Sonia, that you can still remember who it was that proposed to you," I told her angrily, "Dad is the one who proposed to you, and not me," I added, glaring at her.

"You see, that is what I am talking about, Did you see that? Mum, I think Kyle is seeing another woman," Sonia suddenly blurted out and I think she said that for a purpose.

"What? What did you say?" Dad asked glaring at me.

"Is that true? Are you seeing someone else, Kyle?" Mum asked too, almost immediately, sounding angry.

"I never said so, Mum, and what if that were to be true? At least I will be making my choice of a wife instead of marrying a wife my Dad proposed to for me out of his selfish gain, I will be doing you guys a favour too, only you are too blind to see it now," I said now feeling very angry at how easily they can let themselves be deceived by Sonia, I do not blame them anyway Sonia tends to act very well, she is very good at it.

"What?" Dad asked, his Facial expression looking very stain, he must be deeply hurt by what I just said but it doe not matter to me now, I am hot as well by their attitude towards whatever Sonia said, how can they believe everything she says so easily?

"You must be joking, Kyle, there is no way you are bringing another woman into this house, you are going to marry the woman your Dad and I choose for you and that woman is Sonia, you better start loving her again and treating her right again because you are going to marry her whether you like it or not, we are your parents and we know what is best for you," Mum said also in an angry tone...
