"Where is that witch?" Sonia asked, even though she can see me.

I stood up immediately, "what is it?" I asked angrily at the way she walked in the ward and at the name she called me, because I knew she is referring to me.

"Oh, there she is," she said, "so, you know you are a witch," she said working closer to me.

"Stop right there," Vicky said working in between us, Jimmy too stood up immediately working closer to stand beside me and Vicky.

"what have you come here to do?" I asked glaring at her, the sight of her got my blood boiling especially because of the manner in which she walked in here.

"How dare you speak to me in that manner?" Sonia brawled at me, she looked and sounded so furious that I wondered what her reason for being here is.

"To what do I owe this unwelcomed visit?" I asked her trying to sound cool, I need to control myself because of my kids, "tell me, Sonia, what have you come here to do?" I asked again holding my arms under my breast this time.

"How dare you act like you are innocent? You dare ask me what I have come here to do? You dare to address me in that manner? after what I and my family has done for you?" Sonia asked and suddenly started subbing, I was about to ask her why she started sobbing all of a sudden when I saw someone holding a camera in front of us it is a man standing a the door to Alex's ward, I think he is a reporter, and I think I know what is going on here, Sonia is acting again, I think she likes to act, how despicable, I thought.

"What did she do exactly Sonia? Please get to the point," Vicky asked rather calmly this time, she has seen the camera and the reporter, Jimmy too has seen it, and walked over and picked Sandra up into his arms, and standing beside Alex who is also watching us, I wonder if they know what is going on here, I never wanted my kids to get involved in all of this, but this Sonia, this real witch Sonia is at it again and I wonder what game she's playing at this time.

"You don't know? You act like you don't know?" Sonia asked as if she is deeply hurt.

"You pressured my fiancé Kyle, my soft-hearted Kyle, to feel guilty of your carelessness and you bewitched him to come here and give his blood to your son, you drain his blood from him, and now he is lying almost lifeless now fighting for his life," Sonia said still sobbing or rather acting as if she is sobbing.

"She did nothing to your fiancé, Miss Sonia, so please leave, and stop making a scene," Jimmy told her.

"See, so you are all In this together," Sonia said pointing from Jimmy to Vicky and me, "just pray nothing happens to Kyle, if anything happens to my Kyle, you will see the other side of me, I promise you that," Sonia told us in a very low tone almost like a whisper, this time she is not sobbing.

"Excuse me?" I asked, "How can you threaten us, and how am I responsible for what happened to Kyle? tell me, how am I responsible?" I asked almost sounding furious.

"You don't know?" Sonia said and started sobbing again, "you don't know or you pretend not to know? Your son drained the life out of my fiance Kyle, and instead of you feeling concerned about it you are asking me out of your son's ward, is that what you are supposed to say to me? I know I had you arrested, but it wasn't my fault, you cause it, if you haven't gone ahead and slapped me the way you did, I would never have called the police," Sonia said, and I am wondering why she is suddenly bringing this up again.

"It was a good thing Kyle spoke to me about it and made me come back to my senses, now look, you are reunited with your son, he is doing alright now, but my Kyle, my fiance is suffering and you don't feel any sympathy to him at all, instead of asking and feeling concerned about his health condition you are asking me to leave," Sonia said turning to the camera, "They asked me to leave, Kyle's family paid for their son's hospital bills, his family gave them a huge sum of money to pay for their inconvenience, Kyle donated his blood for their son to get better and now this is how they pay him in return, by showing no concern for his health condition," Sonia said facing the reporter.

"Look, Sonia, why don't stop this act of yours and get out of here," Vicky told her furiously, " for your information, Sonia, my friend here returned your check, go and ask your fiance, Kyle," Vicky added.

"Oh, you returned it?" Sonia asked, wiping her face and standing up straight again, she did not look like she was sobbing a while ago, now I know for sure she is really acting and again the camera guy is no longer standing in front of us, I did not even know when he left.

"Are you sure you returned the cheque?" Sonia asked looking at me.

"Yes I returned it, and that is because I do not need it," I told Sonia glaring at her too, she is sure making my blood boil.

"Woe, that is good to know, you returned the cheque, well you don't deserve it anyway, Kyle's dad wanted to use that to shut you off, I personally never thought it was necessary, I never think you deserve it," she said, sounding happy I guess, judging by her facial expression now.

"Anyway, you made a good choice by returning the cheque, I would never have let you have that money in peace though, I am sure Kyle will not either," Sonia said again, sounding so nasty and arrogant.

"Now leave, your act here is done," I told her furiously, hating her guts, "Why were you pretending earlier? I wonder what you are going to achieve by acting like that?" I asked and furrowed my brows at her, for bring this act of hers in front of my kids.

"Well you are going to find out about that soon," Sonia said and turned to leave the hospital, "Oh and one more thing, you are not expected to remain in this hospital, it is not for the likes of you," she said as she turned to face us again.

"You don't need to remind me about that, we are going to leave in the morning," I told her.

"No, not in the morning, make sure you make it first thing in the morning out of this Hospital," Sonia told us and turned to leave again, but this time she let out a burst of unpleasant laughter and I wonder what it is about.

"Mummy, who is she?" Alex asked immediately Sonia walked out of his ward.

"She is an evil witch, Alex," Sandra said and reply instead.

"Oh no, Pumpkin, that is no way to talk about other people," Vicky told Sandra.

"Yes Sandra, your Aunty Vicky is right, that is not a way to talk about people, especially your elders," Jimmy added.

"She is right Jimmy, Vicky, is Sonia not a wicked witch, only a witch acts the way she does," I said in return, walking over to sit beside Alex on the bed.

"Please do not teach that to your children, Kim," Vicky told me, "you don't have to raise them in that way," Vicky added.

"Yes, Kim, Sonia may lack proper guidance when she was growing up, maybe that is why she is like this today," Jimmy said too, in agreement with what Vicky said.

They may be right about Sonia though, she may have lacked good guidance from little, I do not want my kids to be raised that way, I said within me, even though I have to raise them myself, my mum did a good job with me, and I want to do the same for my kids.

"Your Uncle Jimmy and Aunty Vicky are right, Sandra, do not call her an evil witch again." I told Sandra, "same goes to you Alex," I added.

"Okay, mummy," they echoed.

"Excuse me, Kim, I need to talk to you about something," Jimmy told me.

"Okay, Jimmy," I replied standing up from the bed and walking behind Jimmy, towards the door.

"Why don't you go and see Kyle," Jimmy said to me, almost like a whisper.

"What? Is that why you called me here?" I asked getting a little angry.

"There is no need for you to get angry about this, Kim," he said.

"I will do no such thing, Jimmy," I told him almost immediately but in a low tone, I do not want my kids to hear.

"I know Sonia is going about this the wrong way, but I think we should have gone to see him given the fact that he donated blood to Alex, I think that is the reason why he is here in the hospital, given how weak he was after the transfusion," Jimmy said.

"Let it go, Jimmy, I am not going to see him, I told you what he did to me, how can you still encourage me to go and see him, it is not like he doesn't remember what he did, and yet he has said nothing about it, even after meeting me again," I told Jimmy also in a low tone.

"Maybe, that is because you have not given him the chance," Jimmy told me.

"That is enough, Jimmy, I am not going to see that man, please excuse me, I need to go and see doctor Sam, I need him to prepare the discharge papers tonight if possible, I want to leave here first thing tomorrow morning, away from these people," I told him walking back to Alex and Sandra.

"Alex-Sandra, I need to go see the doctor now okay, I will not take long," I said giving them both a kiss on the forehead.

"Okay, bye mummy," they said to me.

"I will go with you, Kim," Vicky said standing up from where she is seated beside Alex's bed...
