"Kyle right?" I asked the man, the moment he approaches us, I thought he was going to turn away after what happened between us in the doctor's office, he sure must have some verve, I said within me.
"Yes, I am." He replied, looking me in the face...
"What are you doing here?" I brawled at him, but Vicky suddenly came to my side, gesturing for me to take it easy on him, and I am wondering why she is doing that, maybe it’s because she knows who the man is to my kids...
"Look, Mrs Brown, I only came to see how the boy is doing, see, I would have turned away when I saw you because I know how you feel about me, but I decided to give it a try, I just want to see the child, I do not mean any harm..." He said and when I could no longer bear his speech, I lifted my arm to stop him from talking...
"Look Mr Kyle, you have done enough harm already and I think it's time you leave this place..." I told him clinching my fist together, I can feel my blood boiling at the sight of him...
"Look, I just want to see the child..." He said.
"Leave Mr Kyle, I do not want to create a scene here, am only being this cool because of my friend here so please..., I said to him again stopping him abruptly from his speech.
"Please leave Mr Kyle, she obviously doesn't want you here..." Jimmy told him as he walked back to us, he was a few steps ahead of us still holding Sandra in his arms and I bet he heard everything that we have said to each other...
Kyle just raised his hands in surrender and walked back the way he came...
"Have you met the man before, Kim?" Jimmy asked, after we have sat down on the chair in the lobby...
"He is an evil man Jimmy, my son Alex, is in there fighting for his life and it's all that man's fault..." I told Jimmy...
"Is that all?" Jimmy asked eyeing me as if to say there is more than what I have just said...
"What do you mean, is that all?" I asked looking away from his eyes.
"You seem to hate the guy so much and I am thinking you must have met the guy somewhere else for you to exhibit so much hatred towards him." He told me in reply...
'Is what he's done to Alex not enough to hate him? I asked and then, looked away from him again to Vicky, avoiding his eyes...
"Tell him the truth Kim, I think he should hear it from you..." Vicky told me and then lifted Sandra away from Jimmy's arms, gesturing for me to tell him the truth before she walked away from our presence...
"What is she talking about Kim?' Jimmy asked, looking intently at me, as if to say 'I knew it, there must be something else."
I bit down my lower lip, finding it hard to tell Jimmy the truth about my kids, he has been in a relationship with Vicky for almost two years now and, he has also shown great interest in my kids, not every man can be understanding as he,...
...Vicky will often spend time with my kids rather than spending time with him, initially I thought their relationship will not last as a result of that, even Vicky felt the same way but she said she can't help it because helping me is her priority for now until I get a worthy partner, someone she can trust, ...

"Go on and tell me, Kim, what is Vicky talking about?" He asked me again, his gaze still on me...and I wonder what he might be thinking right now...
"You see, Jimmy, I don't know how to say this but, I have met Kyle before," I said and turned to look briefly at him, the look in his eye's gestures for me to go on...
"Kyle is the father of my children..." I blotted out, as I do not want to drag it any further...
"What!" Jimmy exclaimed, he almost jumped out of his seat, and suddenly controlled himself again when he saw how some people seating in the lobby turned to look at him...
"What? What did you just say?" He asked this time sitting properly back on the chair, his eyes fixed on me as if I have said something unheard of...
"You heard me, Kyle is the father of my kids..." I told him again, staring back at him,
"Does he know? I mean, he knows right?" Jimmy asked again...
"No..." I replied and shook my head sideways...
"Oh my gosh... you two were in a relationship, how come he didn't know? Or you didn't tell him?" He asked.
"No we weren't in a relationship, the guy rapped me..." I blotted out again, because of his insinuation that I had a relationship with that jerk...
I turned to look at Jimmy when I did not hear a reply or a sound from him, his lips were apart and his eye's looked right at me, even though it felt like his mind was somewhere else,... he must be shocked right now and I wonder what might be going on in his mind...
"He raped you?" Jimmy asked me again, finding his voice again, I guess.
"Yes Jimmy, as awful as this may sound, but that is the truth," I told him and I know he was about to ask for the details...
Well, I told Jimmy it is going to be a story for another day, as I sighted Vicky and Sandra coming back to us...
