"How is she, Doctor?" Vicky and Jimmy echoes at the same time standing in front of Doctor Sam.

"How is she, Doctor Sam?" I asked too, standing in front of Doctor Sam not knowing how I managed to be in front of him given my state before now.

"Take it easy...please," Doctor Sam said looking at our faces.

"Tell us quickly how she is doing?" Brian asked immediately, I did not know that he is standing beside me though but he asked the right question.

"She is stable now, that is what I can say to you..."

"Stable how, how do you mean, Doctor?" Vicky asked before I could speak, and I think I wanted to ask the same question that she had asked.

"She out of danger now, but we still need to observe her..." Dr Sam was saying when Vicky interrupted him again.

"So do you mean to tell us that she is going to be alright, is that it?" Vicky asked widening her eyes at Doctor Sam.

I unconsciously glanced at her feeling like she is speaking my mind yet again.

"Well, Miss, as I said, we just need to observe her for now, but I need to be honest with you, you need to be prepared for anything because as it is, her chance on a fifty-fifty ratio," Doctor Sam said.

"Fifty-fifty ratio, what does that mean?" Vicky asked again sounding agitated.

"Yes, Miss, you see the bullet hit close to her vital organ, it narrowly escaped so we just hope that it does not cause any permanent damage to her, that is why I said, for now, she is stable and that we still need to observe her closely, " Doctor Sam said rather calmly looking from one person to the other.

"Please Doctor Sam," I said taking his hand in mine unconsciously I think, "please make sure to help her recover from this, I will give anything... anything at all that you will need to help her, just name it, Doctor Sam," I said pleadingly and tearfully.

"Calm down, Kyle, you know me, I do not joke with my patients, I will give my best to her, Kyle you do not have to be like this," Doctor Sam told me," And listening to him I know he meant it, I do not think I have heard him take like this before, maybe it is because of our relationship or probably because of my current state.

"I need to ask, how did she get shot? I mean, was she rubbed?" Doctor Sam asked staring at me.

"Robbed indeed," Vicky said before I could reply, "she was not rubbed, she was shot because of him, because of this man here," Vicky added immediately.

"Excuse me," Doctor Sam said looking from me to Vicky I guess he is surprised by what she has just said.

"How is it because of Kyle?" Doctor Sam added before Vicky could say another word.

"He planned it with his fiancée," Vicky said immediately.

"Stop saying nonsense, Miss Vicky," Brian said immediately after her statement.

"Am I wrong? Tell me, if I am wrong..." Vicky snapped at Brian.

"Stop it, Vicky... please..." Jimmy said almost like a whisper to Vicky and placed his hands on her shoulders.

"Do not tell me that, Jimmy, I do not know why you are taking their side on this, you heard the doctor, what if Kimberly does not make it out of this, who then will take care of Alex and Sandra? Don't you get it? First, they offered her money to let Alex and Sandra go, secondly, they offered her a job as her children's nanny and she refused them, that is the reason for this, do you not see it?" Vicky said angrily to Jimmy.

"That is not the way it is, Miss Vicky," I said rather slowly this time, feeling embarrassed because what she said about my family giving her money and making her an offer of being Alex and Sandra's nanny are true.

"Then how is it?" Vicky asked glaring at me, I guess she must hate me so much and I do not blame her for it, I feel like I am responsible for what has happened to Kimberly, and my earnest wish now is for her to be alright again.

"Answer me, Mr Kyle, how is it then?" Vicky asked again when I did not reply.

"It is alright, Miss, Vicky, let us hope that she will be alright," Doctor Sam said to Vicky.

"You better pray nothing happens to my friend because if anything should happen to her, I will not let you and that psycho of a fiancée have her kids, because I know that is your aim," Vicky said viciously pointing her finger at me.

"Nothing will happen to her Vicky and please stop saying that I and Sonia planned this," I said to her angrily again hoping that she stops this baseless accusation, "you were present at my house when I Played the recording of Sonia's insanity, and you saw what happened after that at my house, how then can you be talking like this?" I asked Vicky.

"You may all have planned it, there is nothing rich folks like you cannot do," Vicky replied immediately.

"What can I do or say to make you believe that I did not intend for that to happen to Kimberly?" I asked her almost immediately.

"Arrest Sonia and put her behind bars for doing that to my friend, Mr Kyle, I may try to believe that you do not have a hand in what happened to my friend if you go and get that your psycho of a fiancée arrested and locked away for good, other than just letting her go Scott free the way you did," Vicky replied viciously.

"Alright, Miss Vicky, I was not even going to let her go just like that, I will make sure to put her behind bars and that is not because you wanted it, but because I too will want her to pay for what she has done to Kimberly," I told her

"We are going to do the best we can for your friend, Miss Vicky," Doctor Sam said to her before she could speak further.

"Are you alright, Kyle," Doctor Sam suddenly asked looking down at me, I guess he is just seeing the blood on my shirt.

"Yes, Doctor Sam, I am alright," I replied.

"Then, why is blood all over your body like this?" he asked looking at me all over again these are not mine, Doctor Sam, they are from Kimberley," I told him.

"You cannot be in these, listen, come with me to my office I have a new pair of shirt one that can fit, you need to get out of this immediately," he told me, "now, please excuse me," doctor Sam said gesturing for me to follow him.

"Please make sure to keep an eye on Kimberly, I do not want Sonia coming here and doing something to her, just in case I miss her," I said referring to Jimmy.

"If I see her any where near Kimberly, I swear to God I am going to kill her first," Vicky responded instead and I have a feeling that she would.

"Make sure Alex and Sandra are well taken care of, we will stay back and watch over Kimberly," Jimmy said referring to Brian.

"I will make sure of that, Mr Jimmy," Brian replied and followed behind me as I walk to catch up with Doctor Sam...
