Chapter 22: Chapter 22
I woke up inside Nathan’s room. The treacly and musky scent of a man is trailing on my nostrils. Ethan must have brought me here after the incident. I lost consciousness again, and no vestige of him was seen in the corner of the room. I got used to his emergence and departure schemes. I’m glad he’s not here to make things worse as it is already. I got up, trying to sit straight, but my head was killing me.
My stomach growled. How long have I been passed out? My legs wobbled when I tried to stand straight at the side of the bed. My arms are resting on the table. I breathed out a relief of air when I successfully stood up. When I tried to walk, I almost lost my balance, but good thing I managed myself. I inattentively looked down at the table when I felt a note was sticking out my fingers. I opened it and read what it said.
“Eat your food. Change your clothes. Go to school. See you soon.”
I snort, what a heart touching letter he gave me.
I threw it away and saw a dress hanging in the opened closet in front of me. The floral dress is cute, and I don’t know where he got it. I looked down on my body just when I realized I was naked. My cheeks reddened with the thought. Did he do something to me while I was passed out? But I’m not sore down there.
I look at the mirror behind me, and there’s a bandage taped on my back head. I caressed it but ended up wincing in pain. It’s bearable, but it aches when I touch it. I decided to take a quick half shower. I picked up the dress on hangers and carried it to the bathroom. I clicked on the light switch and opened the curtains when I stopped dead in my tracks because of what I saw immediately.
I dropped the dress on the floor as I took a step back. I can feel my lips is trembling, my palms are sweaty, and my insides are pirouetting before me are blood prints on the walls and scattered on the floor. There is no evidence of a body, but the amount of blood all over the bathroom up to the ceiling is something I should worry about.
Someone got killed here. In the same room I am with while I’m knocked out. I have no idea there’s something going on earlier that’s mortifying. Even though I was not the prime suspect, I was still here, and they can blame me for it. I shook my head, and my mind was clouded with angst. I was about to flee when I crashed into something. I slowly looked up, and the color of my face drained when I saw who it was.
“E-ethan…” my voice cracked.
He remained silent as his eyes roamed around my body up to my features. His adam’s apple bobbed up and down as he played with his lips. He took a step forward, and I did the opposite. I squirm away from him, covering my private parts. When I felt the thick glacial walls behind me, that’s when I stopped because I was cornered. He looked down at me, and his eyes told something that words could never say. There’s an intensity that’s overflowing that made me breathless. Especially when he lowered his head, his nose was touching mine.
“You’re awake,” he stated. He sticks out his tongue, wetting the delicate part of his lips. I couldn’t gasp for air because he was too close. My knee is weakened, causing me to get a hold of his massive arms. His veins are popping out as I look down.
“Why are you scared?”
“Who wouldn’t?” I wanted to ask him, but I couldn’t find where my tongue was. I squealed in terror when he showed me his fangs. I closed my eyes firmly. I anticipated he would do something to me, but minutes had passed nothing had happened. I slowly opened my eyes to see him cleansing the bathroom.
“You must be going to take a shower. I forgot to clean this mess,” he uttered while opening the shower, splashing the water around the area. His face is turned away from me.
I know this is the right moment to get out and leave him alone. But instead, I ploddingly walked to his spot. I touched his shoulders, and he stiffened. His instinct kicked in, and he hovered over me, crashing me unto the walls. But he soon realized what he was doing, so he stepped back, his chest move aroused, letting out harsh breathes.
“I-I thought-” before he could finish his statement, I cut in.
“Ethan. Who’s blood is this?” I earnestly asked him. I stood up straight as my eyes never broke contact with him. He didn’t say anything, but his eyes darkened.
“Ethan, I need you, to be honest to me.” My face softened as I tried to reach his cheeks, but he backed away and turned his attention to another direction. His mussy hair is covering his dull hunting eyes. His lips twitch. I know he’s having a hard time telling exactly what he feels.
I know I was mad at him. I know he pushed me to my limit because of what he did to me, even though it was an accident. But now that I am in my suitable condition, I wanted to know why he keeps on slaughtering those people around us. Those victims have parents, friends, and special someone who will be taken away if he keeps on killing innocent people. I don’t want to tolerate him for that. I know I can’t change him for the better because it’s his choice. However, he’s still doing it. Killing people who I had engaged with.
My mental state could never handle if someone would blame me for the crime I didn’t do. Because I was the last person, they talked with. I have no parents, friends, or a lawyer who will support me. I’m on my own this time. I have to save myself. I have to stop him before I get convicted.
“Ethan, tell me.” I pleaded when he didn’t speak. I walked up to him, and luckily he didn’t step back away from me. I don’t care if I’m naked in front of him. He saw it multiple times already. I carefully lifted his face to see his eyes when I reached him. My body is in contact with his barrel chest. He’s rigid, unable to move a muscle when I touch him.
“I wanted to know,” I whispered softly to his lips. My eyes wandered on it. It’s inviting me to relish it. I mustered up my courage to tip-toe and crash my lips unto his. It’s soft, luscious, but harmful in a way it makes me debilitated.
He suddenly lifted me and pasted me on the wall, spreading my legs apart. His body is in between my thighs. My heat is in contact with his belt. He thrust it, making my inner parts go ballistic, and my eyes rolled with so much pleasure. I got a hold of his hair as I tried to calm my nerves. I need to know. I shouldn’t get distracted by what he is doing to me.
“E-ethan…you didn’t-” he wrapped his arms around my neck, towering and strangling me. His eyes shone when the light reflected on it. He opened my mouth using his thumb, sliding it inside. My tongue swirls around his finger, coating it with my saliva.
“You can’t trick me, Natasha.” his words are full of menace. He thrust another finger, making me gag. I can’t breathe properly. He’s going chaotic. He ripped off his shirt using only his free hand and punched the wall above me, making me shut my eyes tight.
“I know what you are planning. You wanted to seduce me with that voluptuous lips, taking advantage of my weakness. You can’t fool me!”
He thought wrong. I’m not going to use him. I just wanted to know his reasons why he’s slaughtering those people who harmed me, who I talked with, whom I engaged with. I just wanted answers!
He compellingly loosened his belt and tore off his jeans. His erection sprang free. He didn’t waste any more chances. He pushed inside me, extending out my tissue. It’s been a while since we had sex. I hollered and tried to halt him since he slammed me so fast and hard.
“Ethan, stop…please! I just wanted to know why you are killing those innocent people I talked with! I just wanted an answer who did you kill this time and why?!”
A tear escapes my eyes. I’m not feeling any pleasure even though my body meets his every thrust. He moaned, grunted, and enjoyed as he slapped my breasts, making them wiggle. He put his arms above my head. Its other is balancing my body. When I was about to come, and my insides were tightening to his enormous junior, that’s when he stopped. I looked up and saw his jaw was moving.
He suddenly let go of me. I was about to ask what happened and why he stopped when he guided me through the shower. He opened it and splashed the water across my body. I was bewildered while watching him. His back was in front of me. I couldn’t help but take a peek at his buns that were poking. When I looked up, I saw him glancing at me sideways, caught me checking him out. My eyes looked away, and my cheeks heated in shame.
He slowly turned around, facing me. Even though the water was running through my face, I could still see him perfectly. He looks down at me, and his eyes whisper something to my soul. He opened his mouth to speak but closed it again. My eyes narrowed, waiting for him. Instead, he yanked me towards him, squeezing me between his embrace.
I was shocked, and I couldn’t find the words to say to him as the water flowed through our bodies, our heartbeats in sync. I can hear him. I can feel it. The question is, why? Why did he suddenly hug me? For what?
“I can’t let someone hurt you, Natasha.”
He buried his face on my neck. He’s breathing heavily while his thing is poking my stomach.
“I’m scared to lose you to someone better.”
