Chapter 5: Chapter 5

“The Millenium Dreams!”

My heart was racing, and I was able to locate Sancha's line of sight almost instantly after that. They transported me to Mt. Olympus simply by glancing at them. Every one of them has the appearance of a god...or goddess... Yes, she's a goddess, no doubt about it. On the other side of the room, there was a female who was casually conversing and joking with Zeeve. Aside from that, she has an angelic expression on her face. I don't recall hearing a female voice while listening to their band.

Was she a member of their band? Or maybe it's Zeeve's girl?

"Does their band have a female member?" I asked, baffled.

"No. That's a friend of theirs, but she wasn't in the band. The group's princess."

"That's....nice." I said half-heartedly.

So, the princess of the group huh? And what, she's Zeeve's queen? That's cliché and corny.

What in the world is going on? What is it about me that makes me sound so bitter and negative?

That is completely irrelevant to me; I have no interest in Zeeve's personal life. I couldn't care less if he's the most corny person on the face of the planet. That is the way he lives his life.

"That’s Carter Horaze Villaraza." Sancha said this while secretly pointing to a man next to Zeeve.

He appears to be cold and intimidating! His hair was neatly cut, and his defined cheekbones and concrete jaw stood out while he chewed his food.

“Auxel Ryder Gallego.”

My gaze was drawn to the other guy next to Carter; he looks so fine with his scythe-shaped brows and sea rover-blue eyes that are noticeable even from a distance.

In contrast to Carter, who was completely silent and didn't even speak, Auxel was conversing with the other guys in front of him.

"Alistair Ethan Montereal. That guy is the happy pill of their group, isn't he a ray of sunshine?"

When I looked at the guy he was looking at, I was immediately captivated by his soft, Irish eyes that swam with joy as he spoke to his friends. I'm vaguely familiar with him, I think I saw him somewhere. Was he the one I saw with various girls in our department all the time?

"I'm familiar with him..."

"Yeah, you might know him, he's so friendly that all the girls in our department are his friends... or flings?" Sancha joked.

"There's no doubt that he's friendly, just looking at him here gives me the impression that he has the lightest personality of all of them."

"On his side is Primiel Jaxson Legazpi. "

My gaze travelled to the man with a bad boy appearance. His brows had a slit, and his diamond earring was gleaming. His pointed nose complemented his prominent cheekbones.

"And that's Amara Zhane Constantine."

I focused my attention on the one and only girl in their group. Unlike me, who has paperwhite skin, she had a burnished complexion. When Alistair spoke, her gleaming, heavenly-white teeth flashed as she smiled. Her pointed nose, red lips, and beautiful brown eyes stood out. Her graceful and elegant actions captivated me. I think I've found another girl crush!

"Of course, there is Zeeve Maxim Bullecer."

How come I've never seen him in an unflattering state? He is always dashing and handsome! I caught sight of him smiling at me....

Wait, smiling at me?!

I quickly averted my gaze from his. What the hell is going on? How long did I keep staring at him? He just caught me staring at him as if I were one of her adoring fans. Sancha was laughing at my side because he noticed how uneasy I was when Zeeve looked in our direction.

"That's very embarrassing, Ade! He's probably thinking right now that you're drooling over him... who wouldn't? Isn't he handsome?" Sancha said this while eating her favorite chicken adobo and rice.

"Stop talking when your mouth is full! And he's not particularly attractive!" I stated vehemently.

"Yeah yeah whatever, coming from the girl who spaced out looking at him," she chuckled.

"Shut up."

We finished our lunch and left the cafeteria, with me doing my best not to look at their table. What Sancha said is true, and it's embarrassing!

We were making our way to the next subject on our classroom. Thankfully, Sancha was my classmate in all of my subjects today, so I wouldn't be bored.

Our next subject was General Psychology, and as usual I did my best to understand it, which I thankfully did. I did forget some things, but I think I'll just reread it because I took notes.

"Ade, our group meeting would not be held later. I believe it will be rescheduled the day after tomorrow because the class officers will have a meeting together with the officers from other courses." Gio, our leader on our General Psychology activity, informed me.

I simply nodded and expressed my gratitude to him for informing me. It's a wise decision because it would be inconvenient for our group because two of us are class officers.

"What did he say?" Sancha inquired.

"Our group meeting has been canceled."

"Really? Ours, as well! In order to allow everyone to submit suggestions, it would be more convenient if we scheduled it for the next day because one of us was a class officer."

"Let's go." I continued to organize my bag before getting ready to leave our classroom.

"Ade, will your grandfather attend the upcoming business conferen—"

Sancha's words were cut short by the shrill screams of our female classmates. What exactly is that? Is there a celebrity?

"What is it?" Sancha expressed her perplexity.

I didn't respond because I, too, was perplexed. Sancha, being the nosy person she is, immediately stooped up and exited the room.

My eyes widened as she screamed as well.

"Adeline, please come here! Please hurry!"

I stood up, perplexed as to what was going on.

Upon leaving our room, my mouth hung open in astonishment and disbelief as I realized what had happened and who is the person outside our room.

I noticed a man leaning proudly against the wall. When he saw me, his lips curved into a grin.

What exactly is he doing here?!

"Hi."
