"Well that must be a hard luck for you" she told him

"You.. You think in your deluded mind that I'll watch you be with my daughter Adriana" she looked at him in a very awkward way, her face, it didn't show if she was angry or upset, but one could tell she was from her tone.

"You.. You must be out of your goddamn mind" she told him and she made moves to leave his room.

If there was one thing he regretted all his life it was this one thing but still he knew there was something he could do to change her mind, anything he could do for Sarah to let him get married to the woman of his dreams.

He followed her out, calling her name severally but she just kept walking down the stairs and didn't respond to him.

"Sarah!.." he called her but she didn't answer.
