The blond man chuckled, "You can call me Hawkins—I'm from Y country."
Lin Chen snorted coldly, "You're the one who sent people to hunt us down, weren't you?"
Hawkins nodded, "Of course. But to be fair, we wouldn't have made it here without a little help from your old friend, A-shi."
"What did you do to her?" Lin Chen asked urgently, his gaze chilling.
"Ha! She's already dead in the primordial forest. By now, her corpse is probably being devoured by poisonous bugs. Such a shame—for such a beautiful girl," Hawkins said coldly.
"You bastard—I'll kill you!" Lin Chen roared in fury.
Suddenly, the entire hall began to tremble violently.
"What's going on?" The group froze in shock.

"Mr. Hawkins, it seems none of us have achieved anything this time," Lin Chen said coldly.
"Damn it! Who stole my elixir of immortality?" Hawkins bellowed in rage.
Just then, four corpses suddenly crashed down from above.
Lin Chen approached to take a closer look and saw that their state was horrifying—their flesh had been almost entirely gnawed away by some creature.
At this moment, Hawkins's face turned pale as he lifted his head. Immediately, his expression turned ashen.
