Chapter 687: Chapter 687
Three people searched nearby for a hotel, and Mina said anxiously, "When are the three of us going to make a move?"
Lin Chen smiled, "You think Heaven's Help is easy to deal with, but now we have a rare opportunity."
"Really?" Mina and Milly showed a hint of joy on their faces.
Lin Chen nodded, "I just got the news that Hei Li, the boss of Heaven's Help, will be going to Huaxia today to attend a meeting. We can follow her to Huaxia and make our move there."
"Go to Huaxia?" Upon hearing Lin Chen's words, Mina and Milly were momentarily stunned.
Lin Chen smiled faintly, "That place is my turf.
Although the two had some doubts, they still nodded.
An hour later, the three of them had arrived at the airport.
Lin Chen himself was from Huaxia and therefore had a Huaxia passport already, and the sisters had just returned from touring Huaxia, so their passports were still valid.
The three boarded the plane, and Milly and Mina sat next to each other, but Lin Chen's seat was on the other side.
As the plane took off, Mina yawned, intending to greet Lin Chen and then sleep, but when she turned around, she found that Lin Chen had disappeared.
At first, Mina thought Lin Chen had gone to the restroom, but after waiting a long time, he still hadn't returned.
Finally, Mina couldn't keep her patience and called over an attendant, only then did she learn that Lin Chen had left the plane before it took off.
"Milly, we've been duped by that bastard!" Mina suddenly realized something and said to Milly, who was still innocently sleeping beside her.
Meanwhile, Lin Chen had already taken a car to the Moonlight Hotel by the sea where Hei Li was.
The first floor of the hotel was a lobby, currently hosting a wine reception.
Following the information provided by Hei Ze, Lin Chen took the elevator to the top floor.
As soon as he reached the elevator, he was stopped by two burly men.
"Sir, this area is private, you cannot enter," a tall, black bouncer said coldly.
Pretending to be drunk and confused, Lin Chen asked, "Isn't this the tenth floor?"
The bouncer coldly replied, "Sir, this is the eleventh floor."
Lin Chen quickly apologized, "Sorry, I've had a bit too much to drink, I should be on the tenth floor."
Saying this, Lin Chen returned to the elevator and went down to the tenth floor.
Although he only stayed on the eleventh floor for a few short minutes, Lin Chen saw everything clearly.
He couldn't help but admire Hei Li's security work, which was very thorough indeed.
About twenty security guards firmly guarded the entire corridor, making entry from the hallway practically impossible.
However, while this problem might be unsolvable for others, it was very easy for Lin Chen.
Ten minutes later, a servant, pushing a small cart, entered.
The guards at the door did not allow the servant to enter but left the small cart and food behind.
One of the guards knocked on the door, upon which a woman's voice came from inside.
"What is it?" the woman said coldly.
"Miss, the red wine and steak you ordered have arrived," the guard said respectfully.
The room door opened, and the guard pushed the red wine and steak inside, set it up for her, then bowed and retreated.
Hei Li closed the room door and gently poured a glass of red wine, looking out the window as if thinking about something.
At that moment, her gaze suddenly sharpened, because through the window's reflection, she saw a man standing behind her.
If it were an ordinary person, they would definitely scream, but Hei Li was exceptionally calm, neither screaming nor struggling. Instead, she turned around and greeted Lin Chen with a smile, Wan Er.
"Sir, would you like a glass of red wine?" Hei Li raised her glass and smiled.
The feeling was as if the person standing behind her was not an assassin, but an old friend.
Lin Chen was instantly stunned, "This woman's mental fortitude is simply too damn strong."
However, Lin Chen knew naturally that Hei Li was no ordinary girl; although she appeared calm, she was surely plotting how to deal with him internally.
Lin Chen also smiled, "Alright, he said as he sat down at the table."
Hei Li calmly poured Lin Chen a glass of red wine and said, "It was Hei Ze who sent you to kill me, right?"
Lin Chen couldn't help but admire Hei Li's intelligence, "Did you already know that your brother wanted to deal with you? Then why didn't you act first?"
From Hei Li's indifferent expression, Lin Chen could tell that she had anticipated this scene a long time ago.
Hei Li smiled faintly, "How could I act first, when he's my brother, after all!"
"But your brother wants to kill you," Lin Chen said, puzzled.
Hei Li elegantly took a sip of her red wine and said, "Actually, my brother was very obedient when he was young, even after graduating from college he was a very obedient big boy. But I don't know what happened to him these past two years, he's completely changed."
At that moment, Hei Li's gaze was indifferent, and Lin Chen was somewhat surprised that there wasn't a trace of fear in her eyes, but rather a calmness.
"He became greedy and ambitious, even cold-blooded," Hei Li said coldly.
Lin Chen remained silent, simply listening.
Hei Li spoke indifferently, "He thinks that our father entrusted Tianbang to me because he didn't love him. But he's wrong; our father did it precisely because he loves him, hoping to leave a bloodline for our family."
Hearing Hei Li's words, Lin Chen's eyes narrowed slightly, "Your Tianbang must be involved in some unsavory business, right?"
Hei Li looked at Lin Chen with a slight smile, "I'm sorry, I can't tell you, because after I die, this mess will be left to my brother, perhaps that's fate."
Lin Chen was just about to initiate the Soul Capturing Technique when he noticed a trickle of black blood spilling from the corner of Hei Li's mouth.
"Damn, she took poison in advance."
Hei Li's eyes held a bitter smile, "People say being the daughter of the Tianbang boss means I am fortunate, but in reality, I am the most miserable woman in the world. Now, it's finally over. I don't have to live with remorse and unease anymore."
The moment her words fell, Hei Li's body collapsed to the ground.
Lin Chen was immediately speechless; even if he hadn't come, Hei Li would have died here today.
He sighed, saw no one around, and hurriedly returned the way he came, back up to the tenth floor.
Lin Chen rode the elevator down to the first floor and rushed outside.
Just then, suddenly a group of people charged in from outside, and Lin Chen turned to see that the leaders were the two standing at the elevator entrance.
"Catch him, he killed Boss Hei Li," one of the bodyguards shouted.
In an instant, the entire hall erupted into chaos, followed by gunfire behind him.
Lin Chen's gaze sharpened slightly as a black orb rolled out of his hand and onto the floor.
The entire hall was instantly enveloped in black smoke.
Lin Chen quickly ran out of the hall and crossed a small alley following a pre-determined route.
Just as he dashed into the middle of the alley, Lin Chen suddenly sensed three cold glints shooting towards him.
Lin Chen dodged slightly as three throwing knives grazed him and embedded themselves into the wall.
At that moment, a young man wearing a plaid shirt blocked Lin Chen's path.
Just then, Lin Chen's phone rang, and the call was from Hei Ze.
Upon answering, Hei Ze's icy voice came through, "Lin Chen, congratulations on killing my sister. But since you killed her, as her brother, how could I not avenge her!"
"Damn!" Lin Chen blurted out an expletive.
