Lin Chen looked at the figure, a faint smile appearing on his face.

"Hey, beauty, turns out you've been secretly in love with me all this time, waiting at my doorstep so late at night!" Lin Chen said cheerfully.

"Get lost, who's waiting for you? Where's Miss Ye Zi?" Ling Zi said coldly.

The last time Lin Chen took such advantage of her, Ling Zi had been simmering with anger, but once she calmed down, she remembered her task.

However, Ling Zi searched everywhere, only to find that Ye Zi was gone, and Lin Chen was nowhere to be seen either.

"Tell me quickly, where's Ye Zi?" Ling Zi demanded angrily.

"She's at Night Shanghai." Lin Chen said casually.

"What? Night Shanghai! You, you freak, you actually took Ye Zi to such a place!" Ling Zi's face changed dramatically upon hearing "Night Shanghai."

"Who are you calling a freak? Watch your words, they need evidence." Lin Chen was a bit unhappy.

At this point, Lin Chen's phone rang, and Jia Xiaoqing's voice came through: "Lin Chen, why aren't you here yet? Hurry up, I've been squatting in the bathroom for almost an hour."

After eating her fill, Jia Xiaoqing patted her belly: "Well, I've eaten enough. I'm going to sleep now, night night!" Jia Xiaoqing said confidently as she walked into her room.

"Hope you have nightmares." Lin Chen said disdainfully, making a dismissive gesture.

Turning over, Lin Chen lay down on the sofa, just about to cover himself with a blanket to sleep, when suddenly a scream came from his room.

Immediately, Jia Xiaoqing rushed out, stark naked, from the room, trembling with fear: "There's a head in there!"
