Chapter 1525: Chapter 1525

Wandering through the small town, Peter had confined his breath within his body and disguised himself, rendering his identity unrecognizable to the average person.

Upon reaching the teahouse where he had agreed to meet Ares, Peter had just arrived upstairs when he saw Ares anxiously looking around.

Approaching Ares, Peter sat down without any formality.

Peter had already investigated, and thankfully, Ares had no ill intentions to trick him.

When Ares saw someone walk into his private room and sit down right across from him, he was about to speak when his eyes suddenly lit up, and he pointed at Peter, exclaiming, "You? Is it really you?"

With a smile, Peter replied, "Long time no see."

Ares was so excited he almost jumped up, completely surprised he was actually seeing Peter.

Looking at Peter, Ares wanted to say something but couldn’t find the words, instead gazing at Peter with longing.

From within the Immortal Ring, Peter took out a jade box and handed it over, saying, "This is yours."

Of course, Ares knew what it was. It was an object desperately fought over by many, and he never expected Peter to gift it to him, making him feel faint with astonishment.

Quickly taking a Jade Slip out of his ring, Ares handed it to Peter, stating, "This is also something you wanted."

Peter smiled faintly and accepted the Jade Slip.

Ares was also quick to take the jade box.

After receiving the box, Ares visibly let out a sigh of relief.

Even though Peter was in disguise, he now possessed a trace of a saint’s heart and sat without any signs of timidity, smiling slightly as he poured himself a cup of tea and asked, "How is your brother?"

Hearing the inquiry about his brother, Ares let out a bitter laugh and said, "Just like I feared, dead, perished on that island along with several other masters."

As Peter was only focused on collecting the golden fruits, he genuinely hadn’t noticed how Ares’s brother died—it could well have been by his own hand.

Ares continued, "The family used the method of reversal to see, it was the Immortal Beasts that eradicated them, nothing to do with you."

After taking a sip of tea, Peter was indifferent to whether or not he was the one who killed them.

"How many days has it been now?"

When Peter asked how many days had passed, Ares’s eyes widened in realization, and he stammered, "You... you... did you succeed?"

Peter just nodded slightly in affirmation.

Ares expressed his envy, "Many try and fail to split it, never imagined, huh!"

Peter just chuckled, "It’s not that difficult."

Ares then sighed, "It’s been a month since those events."

Peter himself was surprised to learn that splitting the world of the sages had taken an entire month.

"Now, it seems like things have stabilized everywhere," Ares mentioned softly.

"The Sacred Fate Seed is said to have passed its peak dispersion period. All the seeds that were meant to come out have now scattered throughout every corner of this world. The chances of a mass emergence of seeds again is unlikely. Therefore, the coming time will be about individuals fighting to snatch them from each other."

Checking the situation on the Holy Stele, Peter was still leading in the Central Holy Land, while other areas like the Eastern and Southern Holy Sanctuaries’ Sacred Fate Seeds were now dominated by others.

However, Peter believed his strength had significantly increased since he had split the Sage’s World.

Since the Sage’s World split, Peter’s cultivation directly advanced to the ten-star level.

Of course, in the world of sainthood, ten stars were clearly not much to boast of; the real contest was in the usage of sacred power, and in that area, Peter had many insights.

"By the way, many now are looking for someone named Peter, forming numerous hunting teams," Ares noted.

Seeing that Ares made such a statement with intention, Peter knew he was alluding to the danger they were in, and with a laugh, Peter asked, "What direction are you planning to develop towards next?"

"Since my brother’s death, our Smith family has declined, and all our members have scattered. We offended many in the past and without robust protection, many eyes are now on our family, so it’s impossible for me to return. Now, having this, I am thinking about finding a place for closed-door cultivation, to see if I can make any breakthroughs."

Looking at Ares, Peter nodded and said, "That’s good. Many things still depend on oneself."

After drinking tea for a while, Peter managed to discern several things from Ares. In the Sunrise Fairyland, there were numerous hunting squads, and many masters were leading these teams, all targeting him.

Upon learning this, Peter contemplated his next steps.

After parting with Ares and watching him leave, Peter didn’t leave the teahouse but started reading the Jade Slip Ares had given him.

It contained various experiences about how a Void Saint became so, exactly what Peter was most eager to obtain. With such experiences, Peter believed his path would be smoother.

Indeed, it contained many things Peter had never considered; sitting there, the more he read, the deeper he delved into them, as though a door was opening for him.

After a long period, Peter finally opened his eyes, and when he looked around, he felt his understanding of the Holy Path had significantly deepened.

Insight, Energy Absorption, snatching Sacred Fate Seeds!

Peter found that becoming a Saint wasn’t all that difficult as long as these three aspects were achieved, and everyone had the potential to become one.

Peter now had his own plan in the current situation; wandering about aimlessly wasn’t advisable. If he could build his own power, he could quickly head to wherever a large number of Sacred Fate Seeds were found. Hence, it was necessary for Peter to establish a grand power.

Thinking this, Peter analyzed the possible locations for building his power.

Peter didn’t want to deal with establishing a Sect; to him, the current Immortal Kingdoms were good places. Hidden where others couldn’t guess, he could accumulate what he needed in secrecy, which was the safest direction for his development.
