Chapter 7: Chapter 7

I turned and walked to one of the beds, ruffling my hair in frustration and sat down thinking what to do. He sat there itself, looking at me with wide terrified eyes. Okay, why the hell is he looking at me like that ? I admit I slapped him but does he need to look this terrified ?

I stared back at him intently, thinking what to do with him. He quickly looked away. Maybe on remembering his promise to not look at me again.

I sat up from the bed and stormed out of the room deciding something in my mind. I went straight to Rose. She was now writing something carefully.

"Miss Rose.", I called.

" Oh Ethan.", she looked up. " Why are you here again ?"

" I need to change my room. Please put me in some other room."

" What happened?", She asked annoyed and confused.

" I can't stay with that boy. He also don't want to stay with me. There's actually some problem between us. So I want you to change me to some other room.", I said.

Rose left an annoyed sigh. " Okay, there are a few rooms in D block. A, B and C are already filled. Maybe I can change you to D block."

" What ? That's still co-ed, right ? I can't stay with a girl.", I quickly said. Because I clearly know, then my friends would start bullying that girl too.

" Either you move to Dorm D or you stay in your current room itself. There's no other option.", Rose said sternly.

" But..you can replace me with someone else from B block itself.", I reasoned.

" No. I can't do that Ethan. ", She said sternly. " If you are not ready to move to D block, you may please leave now. I have some important work to do. ", she said really annoyed. I was starting to feel angry. I sighed trying to calm down myself. "Or go ask your roommate if he is okay to move to D block.", Rose then said. " You won't be able to change after D block also gets filled. So decide quickly. "

" Oh..okay.", I nodded. " Sorry for disturbing you.", I said and turned, walking back to the room.

Nate was standing, leaning against the table when I arrived. His eyes widened again on seeing me. I walked towards him and his expression became more nervous. He tried to move little more backward, if that was possible.

" Look, I can't be your roommate.", I said standing at a little distance from him. He didn't reply anything but looked down at his feet. " So you should move out of this room.", I finished. He looked up nervously. I expected him to say something but he didn't utter a word. So I spoke again. "Go to the dorm office and ask Miss Rose to change your room. She would give you a new key. Take it. Then go to your new room with your luggage."

" I- I arranged my t-things here. You..you haven't un..unpacked your stuff yet. So it's easy if you change r..room.", he said finally. I am now sure he really has a speech disability like I guessed. Anyway so he isn't easily going to move out of the room. So I decided to play the bully role once more.

I furrowed my eyebrows and took one more step to him, staring at him intensely. He flinched at the sudden change in my expression. " You do what I say.", I growled near his face, making him shiver. " Or else bad things will happen to you. If you don't want that to happen, take your damn things out and get the fuck out of this room. NOW ! "

He flinched again and gripped tightly on the table behind him. " W..will..I g..get a new r..room ?", he asked extremely nervous.

" Yeah, of course. You would.", I grinned and took a step backward. I didn't think he would agree this easily. "I have already told Miss Rose to give you a new room. You just need to go get the key."

" I- I will g..go.", he said after a moment.

" okay, first go get the key before the office closes. Then take your things and go.", I said. He nodded and rushed out of the room.

I sat down on the chair heaving a relieved sigh. But I felt sad for some reason. It would have been nice if he was my roommate. But only if I didn't have those terrible friends. Oh what the heck ! What am I thinking ? Why do I want him as my roommate? Not like I am attracted to him or anything. I'm of course not gay.

It's just that it would have been nice if I could get some cute and innocent friend like him. I am hella tired of those two jerk of a monsters and the two heartless cheer leading bimbos surrounding me. I want someone else. A true friend whom I can rely on.

But I know I am not going to get one when I am in this college. Because I am nothing but a bully whom everyone fears to approach. I just want to somehow graduate quickly and escape from this hell hole. One more year ! I don't know how I am gonna survive.

I lied back on the bed looking at the white ceiling above. Nate came back after sometime. " Did you get the key ?", I asked as he walked towards the cupboard.

" Yes.", he said and opened the cupboard. Then he took a suitcase that was sitting in one corner and started throwing the things inside the cupboard into the suitcase. He seemed angry but I didn't utter a word.

I crawled out of the bed after sometime, took my towel and a pair of clothes from my suitcase and walked to the bathroom to take a shower. I took a quick warm shower, draining away the exhaustion of first day.

It was when I was wiping my body, that I head a scream from the room. I quickly wrapped the towel around my waist and stepped out of the bathroom to see the sight of Kevin dragging Nate to the wall by his hair, Nate struggling in Kevin’s grip and crying out in pain. Amelia, Sophia and Tony were all around, laughing. The sight made me clench my teeth. Why the hell are they here now ?

Nate screamed in pain as the left side of his face hit hardly on the wall. " Kevin ! ", I called out angrily. All of them turned to me.
