Aurora was so excited to see her mother and sister, especially her little sister. She couldn't wait for her last time because of her anger.

As soon as Aurora's sister, Maya saw her, she immediately pounced on her. They almost fell to the ground. Aurora looked at her sister who looked plumper.

"Sweetheart, I really miss you so much. You are looking bigger and cuter. You are so chubby. What has mom been feeding you?", Aurora pinched Maya's cheek.

"Sister Rora, I am not bigger but you are looking bigger than the last time I saw you. Momma has been feeding me everyday but I hardly eat my food. My friends love momma food and they always eat with me", Maya said.

"Maya is right Rora, you are really looking chubby. Alpha Jax must be feeding you well", her mother teased.

"Mother, stop it. I am not chubby. I am still my slender self", Aurora pouted.

"Okay, I have heard you. I won't tease you anymore", her mother said smiling.

"So Maya, tell me about your school. How is your study?", Aurora asked as they sat down in the living room.

"Sister Rora, you know I really don't like studying. Back in my previous school, Kelvin has been the one helping me out. Though I have some boys here but they are afraid of the other girls. The girls in the school are all envious of me because I am the most prettiest", she said smugly.

"Maya, I have told you not to be cocky. That's why you are lagging behind in your studies. Your sister asked about your studies", her mother reprimanded.

"Yes, Maya. I asked about your studies because I don't want you to depend on your beauty. Be a beauty with brain. Let those girls envy your brain not beauty. Just like your sister. Did you remember I was the best amongst the graduating students? Now, that's the real envy, sweetheart", Aurora said patting her sister on her head.

"Okay momma, okay Sister Rora. Can I go play around the mansion? It's so huge. And I really love those fountain and fruit trees. Can I pluck them?", Maya said excitedly.

Aurora smiled sweetly at her sister before calling on Butler James.

"Please can you assign two servants to show Maya around?", She said.

"Yes, Miss Aurora. This way, Miss Maya", Butler James said with a deep bow.

"Thanks Uncle", Maya replied as she flashed him a smile.

Butler James led Maya away and Aurora was left with her mother in the living room. Aurora, who didn't have enough time to really look at her mother, saw that her mother wasn't herself today. She was looking worried and anxious.

"Mother, are you okay?", She asked as she held her mother's hands.

"Aurora,I need to speak to you. It's very…important", her mother said looking conflicted", it's about your father".

"Okay, mother. Let's go to my room", Aurora suggested.

"Is it…soundproof? I… why don't we go back to the house?", She suggested.

"Mother, Maya is enjoying herself here. Besides, it's the Alpha's room. Don't worry, it's private", she assured as she got up".

"Okay, Aurora. Let's go now", she insisted.

"Okay, mother", Aurora said as she led her mother to her room.

Aurora, who is your father's killer?", Her mother asked as soon as Aurora shut the door.

"Mother, why…"

"Answer me Aurora!"Her mother said, feeling more agitated.

"It doesn't matter mother. If I don't have proof, I won't do anything. But mother I have proof", Aurora said.

"You have proof? What kind of proof?", Her mother questioned.

Aurora sighed as she drew closer to her mother.

"Mother, I really can't tell you the person but I saw proof", Aurora said.

"Who is the person, Aurora Patterson?", Her mother asked, looking stern.

"It's the Alpha"

"Which Alpha?"

"The one you know, mother. My mate… Alpha Jax of the Blood Moon Pack…. The alpha of my father's Pack….. My mate and I am supposed to be his Luna", Aurora said screaming.

"And you are willing to kill your mate just to avenge your father?", Her mother asked calmly.

"Yes, mother. I don't care…as long as I can avenge my father", Aurora said with tears.

"Aurora, don't do it. He is innocent. Your father wasn't killed unjustly. Alpha Jax did what he had to. Aurora, forgive me for keeping you in the dark", her mother said as she broke down in tears.

"What are you saying, mother? Why are you on his side? You have been against me from the start. Why should I believe you that he is innocent?", Aurora flared up.

"Aurora…listen to me…."

"No, mother. I don't believe you. You are just trying to make me forget. Mother, if you are not in support of what I want to do, I don't mind. Just don't obstruct what I want to do. I will never forgive you", Aurora said as she stared at her mother angrily.

"Trust me, Aurora. Don't kill an innocent person. Just talk to him", her mother advised but Aurora refused to listen.

Her mother sighed and said", I won't force you to believe me but go back to whoever gave you that information and tell the person to investigate more. If your father is not guilty, I won't stop you".

"I am going to leave now. Just think about what I just told you but if you refuse, I will be the one to approach him", her mother said.

Aurora broke down in tears", Mother, you can't do that! You have to believe me. I saw it in his study…in a confidential file. It was boldly written"

"A file in his study? Did you read the file?", Her mother asked.

"I…I didn't but I saw that it was a file for my father's assassination. My father's name and picture was placed on the front page of the file"

"I won't stop you but I will advise you to go back and read that file again. Aurora, don't be blind to vengeance", her mother said pleadingly.

Aurora didn't want to argue with her mother anymore, so she made an excuse to leave. She knew her mother would never give up so she would just pretend to agree.

"I have heard from you mother. Let's go and see Maya", Aurora stood up abruptly but suddenly she felt dizzy and almost fell down.

Her mother who saw her falling rushed to her to hold her.

"Aurora, are you okay? Are you sick?", Her mother asked worriedly

"I am not sick, mother. I just felt dizzy. It has been happening a lot for the past one week. I think I don't sleep enough", Aurora said as she sat down again.

"Do you have any special cravings? Like craving for food or anything you don't normally eat? Or you feel nauseous?", Her mother asked.

"Cravings? Oh yes, I do like to eat a lot now especially in the morning and I sleep alot and I…."

"Aurora, you are pregnant", her mother said.

"Mother, don't joke with me. How can I be pregnant? I…", she said.

"You what? Go and run a test tomorrow. It might also be symptoms of other illnesses. Just to be sure, okay?", Her mother said.

"Okay, mother", Aurora nodded in deep thought.

"Aurora, what if you are truly pregnant?", Her mother asked, `` would you still go ahead with your plans?".

Her mother's words jolted her back to reality.

She can't be pregnant. It shouldn't be pregnancy, she prayed silently.

Aurora cuddled herself in her room after her family left. The test strips were still in her hands. This is the third one and it all turned positive. She was anxious, afraid and…secretly excited. She was really…pregnant?

She couldn't stay still after her mother left, so she decided to hop into a pharmacy far from the mansion. She wanted to be sure as soon as possible. The results were positive.

She was pregnant with Alpha Jax's child…. She was pregnant for her father's murderer.

She was pregnant for her mate…the man she had started to fall in love with.

Yes, she was in love with Jax but she refused to admit it. She deny her feelings each time because she doesn't want to accept she fell in love with her father's murderer.

Alpha Jax. Now, she is pregnant too.

This was too much for her to handle. Why would the moon goddess tempt her like this?

No, she has to be fast. If she backs out now, she would be betraying her father.

Aurora looked at the little liquid in her bag. That was the drug Craig gave her.
