Chapter 501: Chapter 501

###Chapter 498 Encounter After Returning Home - Part 8

The one with the most message was Jordan. Ivelle clicked and had a look. Most of them were photos of him and Blossom. They don't have too many words. They were just hello every day. Did she eat? What was she doing?

Ivelle looked at it carefully and turned to the last one, which was sent by him recently.

After she thought about it, she replied.

"I'm fine, don't worry!" Apart from this sentence, Ivelle didn't know what else to say.

Then she both sent a message to Frida and Blair, saying that she was safe.

It wasn't long before the police came. After all, she called the police and needed evidence.

Mr. Norris was very surprised that she came back. What was even more unexpected was that Ivelle would take the police to find him.

The moment he saw her, he lost all the papers in his hand. As he looked at her, he was very surprised, "Ivelle, you-"

Ivelle smiled, he was not able to continue his words. "Thanks to you, I'm still alive!"

The police came forward and took him away after the accident. As for the policewomen, when the police went there, there was no one left.

It seemed that it was withdrawn ahead of schedule.

Ivelle was coming out of the police station when Jordan called.

Ivelle was so familiar with his phone number that she knew it was him even if she had no remarks on her phone.

It was hard to decide whether to answer or not.

Ivelle didn't answer it until it was half ringing.

Without too many words, his voice was deep and introverted, as familiar as ever.

"Where are you?"

Ivelle was distracted for a moment and looked up at the sky in City A. She suddenly found that time seemed to have passed for a long time.

"Domestic!"

On the other end of the line, there was a moment of silence, "Can I see you?"

Ivelle pursed her lips and said, "No, I'm fine now. Don't worry."

"I want to see you!" There was something repressed in the man's voice and his mood could be felt across the phone line.

I want to see you!

Ivelle didn't hear such words for a long time. She smiled and feel warmth in her heart.

"Jordan, I'm fine, really!" Ivelle originally wanted to tell him that he could try to live his own life but she knew that if this sentence would come out, it would cause his anger.

"I'm not fine!" His voice was a little low with some urgent and uncontrollable emotion. "Ivelle, no matter who it is, exile has its limits. You want to walk alone, I let go and I am willing to wait for you in the same place but you can't go on banishing like this. I don't want to face the loneliness in the dead of night alone and I don't want to rely on memories to survive. I want to see you. I want to see you now."

Ivelle lost her mind for a moment, this was the first time she heard Jordan's feelings so bluntly, without a trace of reservation, with eager words.

If he was in front of her at this time, Ivelle thought that she would hold him tightly and would tell him that she miss him very much.

"Jordan, you have taken good care of Blossom. Thank you." Ivelle changed the subject. She was afraid that she would lose control of herself and tilt all her thoughts to him. Ivelle was afraid that her appearance would make his life messy again.

He should have a happy life for his wife and children. Ivelle didn't have the ability to give him a happy marriage. She would not be able to bear a child for him. Leaving was the best choice.

There was a heavy voice on the other end of the line. "Ivelle, is this punishment?" If so, tell me, what do I need to do to get you back? "

Ivelle froze and suddenly didn't deserve to say anything. After a moment of silence, she was afraid to continue the conversation. She said, "Jordan, I have something to do. I'll hang up first."

She hung up the phone and she felt that she became a coward.

Ridiculous!

Back at the company, William looked at her and said angrily, "Ivelle, I need an explanation from you!"

Originally, there was an hour's rest at noon but she went to the police and it lasted for two hours. It was inevitable to be late.

When she saw that he was unhappy, she told him everything that happened but he was still angry, "I don't care what happens to you but when you leave your post during working hours, you are not responsible for your work."

Ivelle apologized again and again and knowing that he was angry, she also chose to be silent.

He saw that she didn't seem to open my mouth so he stopped, looked at her, and said, "Go and find Linda to take over the job. You are absent from work today."

Ivelle was stupefied for a moment and a little dumbfounded.

But after all, he was the boss, she really made a mistake and there was nothing to argue.

After taking over the job with Linda, Grace called and it was obvious that the young lady has had enough sleep.

"Ivelle, do you have an appointment tonight? Let's come out for dinner."

Ivelle thought for a moment, a little frustrated, and said, "Actually, I want to go but I have to do something tonight."

William asked her to stand by 24 hours a day. She was wondering why this man would suddenly ask her to do that.

"Ah!" She was a little disappointed. "I have an appointment with Jacintha and Cassandra. I will go to zero at night. I narrowly escaped death. What is more important than being alive is to be happy, please don't refuse."

Ivelle smiled. "Miss Grace, I'm not refusing. It's true. I'm working as a secretary in William's company. I'm on call 24 hours a day. Do you think I can walk away?"

She slurped and said, "Are you the secretary? Stand by 24 hours a day. Do you even have to take care of his food and drink?"

"If you think about it, it should be like this." After all, now it seemed that she was cooking breakfast and dinner for him which was probably not much different.

"Fuck me!" She was a little excited. "Why do I feel that your life was a bit like the plot of a drama? Master Preston is not attracted to you, is he?"

Ivelle almost choked on her saliva, she coughed a few words and said, "You're thinking too much. I'm simply short of money that's why I work for him."

"Tut-tut!" She got a little gossipy. "It's not that I think too much."

At this point, she paused and said, "By the way, when are you going back to the capital? You said you were short of money, I'll get you some."

It probably didn't feel right, and she added, "No, didn't you say you were married? Shouldn't you go to your husband now? Why are you in Mr. Preston's company?"

Ivelle didn't know what to say for a moment, so she avoided saying, "Well, I have something to do now. I'll hang up and make an appointment another day."

Their relationship was so complicated that even if she wanted to explain it clearly, she won't be able to do it.
