Chapter 466: Chapter 466
###Chapter 463 Later People Are Lost - Part 4
She nodded and smiled. "If it's inconvenient for you to live alone, you can move to the eastern suburbs to live with us. The house is big enough and will become livelier."
She smiled and said. "Then hurry up and have a baby. I'll go and take care of it for you."
Ivelle didn't answer, and when Alice saw her reaction, she thought that Ivelle was shy. She didn't mention it anymore and got up. Then, they went to the house to find a small stool.
Alice put it behind Ivelle and said. "Be careful. You must take great precautions because your lower back is always prone to pain after miscarriage. I didn't have a baby, but I am healthy. If you sit down, don't touch these if you are uncomfortable."
Ivelle wanted to refuse, but she couldn't beat her. Ivelle chose to get along with Alice after all.
After washing the clothes, she sat in the yard with some fruit and poured her a glass of water. "Don't be shy." She said. "After all, you are already a mother. I'll have to figure out my name for you and then for the child. In the meantime, I will find someone to write it out, both boys and girls, and you can choose whichever one you like."
The water in the cup was a little bitter because of the emotions that made Ivelle wary. When she took a sip, Ivelle choked and the bitterness in her throat spread.
After chatting for a while and before going out, she was worried and told her. "Be safe on the way and give me a message when you get home."
Ivelle nodded and looked back at her. She contemplated that maybe she should go to see Erin sometime. No matter how much she complained in her heart, she 3was the one who gave birth to her.
Alice stood at the door and saw ivelle off with a smile. Somehow, she suddenly felt a little sad. Ivelle went forward, hugged her, and said. "Jordan and I are not by your side. You should take good care of yourself."
She laughed. "You child, why have you become so sentimental? You can come and walk around here at any time."
Ivelle just smiled and said softly. "I know that the woman who can grow old with Jordan in your heart should not be a mediocre person like me, but over the years, although you are not satisfied with me, you always think of us. Although you are not his real mother, you think about everything for his sake. You are actually very kind."
She was slightly stunned and a little surprised. She looked at Ivelle for a moment later and said worriedly. "What are you talking about, you child?" Why are you talking like this all of a sudden?"
"Thank you!" Interrupting her, Ivelle opened her mouth and hugged Alice as she felt a little bitter in my heart.
'What is good or bad in this world? Should I mind the gray area between the black and white?' She thought.
When she saw Alice looked at her worriedly, she asked out of the blue. "Is something wrong?"
Ivelle smiled, but she was a little mischievous and said teasingly. "Yes, I want your help with something."
She was stupefied. "What?" She asked as her tone got serious.
"Lend me a few dollars."
Alice was shocked and smiled. "You child, what's wrong with you?" As she spoke of that, there was some helplessness in her voice. Alice took the wad of money out of her pocket and stuffed it into Ivelle's hand.
She said with a smile. "You child, there are so many preparations for this. What is the big deal that I'm unaware of?"
Ivelle smiled, took the ten dollars from her hand, and then returned the other money to her and said. "Ten dollars is enough."
After leaving Alice's house, she went to the old man who sold sweet potatoes. After paying back the money, Ivelle went back to the villa.
Jordan hasn't come back yet. She looked at the failed peach blossoms in the yard in a daze and got distracted.
She went to the second floor and cleaned up briefly. Jordan came back to see her and cleaned up the bedroom.
He frowned. "Your waist is not good, let Sister Finn clean." As he spoke, Ivelle was dragged to the bedside to sit down.
Jordan looked at her and said. "Auntie said you went to see her today."
Ivelle nodded and looked up at him. Suddenly, she didn't know what to say, so Ivelle kept silent.
She leaned against his chest and listened to his heartbeat.
He said. "Don't you have any cash on you?"
She was slightly stupefied and nodded. "I bought something from an old man in the alley, but I didn't bring any money, so I borrowed from my aunt."
He sighed. "You can withdraw on your bank card. If there is a place to spend money, just use it."
Ivelle nodded. "Do you have any cash at home?"
"There are tens of thousands of dollars in the drawer in the study. Go and get it when you want it!"
After she heard his reply, she stopped talking. Ivelle just hugged him and smelled of him greedily.
......
When she went to the Biden's door, there was light rain in the Capital. Ivelle just stared at the door but she didn't go in. She just thought that if she'll go inside, she was afraid she would be left for dinner again. If she refused, Ivelle was afraid that both Erin and Andrew would be sad.
She simply gave up, just stood outside the gate for a while, then turned around and left.
The spring rain wasn't very cold, it has a cool breeze with a bit of warmth.
It was particularly comfortable, as the wind blew and came out from the Biden's house. Ivelle was in a trance and went to Astley unwittingly.
Time slipped away from her fingertips, and the scene of coming to the Capital five years ago still seemed to be in front of her.
Now, in a twinkling of an eye, the time has passed in a hurry. The days passed and the road is long. Ivelle has turned the years into a fragmented appearance.
When she went to the front desk, she thought she would have to make an appointment, but surprisingly, it seemed that she didn't have to. The receptionist seemed to know her and took the initiative to greet Ivelle and said, "Mrs. Astley, you're here." She beamed with a warm smile.
She was slightly stupefied and a little surprised. "How did you know?"
"Boss Astley just called to remind me, you can go straight up!" She smiled and seemed different at all.
Ivelle has forgotten that after coming back to the Capital, the news and headlines that followed them were almost exposed. As Jordan Astley's wife, how could she not even paid attention to these?
On the top floor in Jordan's office.
Before she entered the office, Ivelle was welcomed by a man that held out a black pen in his hand. He seemed to be working just now.
When he saw her, Jordan pulled Ivelle closer to his arms. He smiled, heaved a sigh of relief, and asked her gently. "What are you doing out?"
As soon as he saw that her hair and clothes were a little wet, he dragged Ivelle into the lounge and found her clothes to change of. "Take a bath and change your clothes." He said with a slight reprimand in his tone.
When Ivelle looked at his shirt, she pursed her lips. "This is the company." The implication of what she said was that it's inappropriate to wear his shirt casually at work. They are not at home.
He smiled, bowed his head, and kissed her. "It's all right, wear it first and then the clothes Felix sent you will come over."
When she entered the bathroom, the phone on his desk rang and his low voice was heard in the distance. "Come in!"
It was supposed to be the file man downstairs. Ivelle opened the shower and washed her body.
It was warm, and that relaxed her a lot. She changed into his clothes and saw that it was a black shirt. It was long for her and was up to his knee that made it look like she wore a dress.
Ivelle didn't blow-dry her hair. She just let the air-dried it. Ivelle went out of the lounge and saw Linda stood next to Jordan at his desk.
It seemed like they talked about the strategic planning of AI promotion and the two were focused on their work. They looked completely immersed in exchanging ideas that Ivelle thought Jordan didn't see her.
She didn't mean to disturb and stood quietly at the door of the lounge.
Suddenly, the voice in the office stopped. She looked up and saw Jordan's gaze landed on her accurately and smiled gently. "Go and blow-dry your hair, you'll get sick."
A few short words were said. The original focus of the two people was distracted and Linda looked in Ivelle's direction.
