Chapter 282: Chapter 282
###Chapter 281 Invitation
Ivelle Astley looked at Jordan Astley carefully. He was obviously a big man with 1.8 meters in height and he was holding Blossom as if he had been shot. His body looked too stiff while he was holding the baby.
Parker Wesley was not able to stop himself from smiling. He looked at Ivelle and said, "Jon and I will send you down later. Blossom cries mostly because she is hungry. Try to let her sleep next to you these two days. Just breast-feed her when she cries."
Ivelle nodded, looked at them, and said, "Come to the Landscape Bureau to have dinner with us this Spring Festival. It is rare for everyone to be in Hempstead."
Jon nodded and said, "Yes, I'm not going back to the capital anyway. I wanted a get-together and to spend the first days of the year with Blossom."
Parker nodded, agreed, looked at Ivelle, and said, "I will send you the address and time later. My mother has said several times that if it is inconvenient for you in the evening, take Blossom with you and come."
Ivelle was stupefied for a moment, it turned out that Erin has made an appointment to have dinner with them.
Ivelle replied, "It's not safe for Blossom to be out of the house at night. I won't go at night. Please go ahead!"
Parker looked at Jordan and asked. "Is Boss Astley going?"
Ivelle thought that Jordan would not go but unexpectedly, he nodded and said, "I'll go!"
Then he walked out of the door with Blossom in his arms. Jon looked at him and tried to stifle a smile.
If he hadn't been cold-tempered all the time, he would have laughed at him.
Ivelle had a headache. She really didn't want to see Erin.
After Jordan got into the car, he put Blossom in the back seat and fixed the seat. Ivelle also went into the back seat.
Jon and Parker put everything into the car in a hurry. Because they were in a hurry to get to the company, Parker just said goodbye and drove away.
Jordan started the car and left the Victory Apartment. He asked, "Don't you usually like to take part in dinners?"
He drove and said in a faint voice, "Haven't you noticed that Parker has been very busy lately?"
Ivelle was stupefied for a moment but after a while, she was able to follow his topic and said, "A little bit!"
"Have you ever thought about why?" Perhaps because Blossom was in the car, he was driving very slowly and steadily.
Ivelle thought about it and said, "He is a rich son of the second generation. Although Erin is in charge of the family, he is still the heir of the Wesley family after all. Part of his credit is for exercise and the other part is for his own interest. It is the end of the year, the list for the annual review has either been made before or delayed until the end of the year but there are not many companies to audit at this time. He is so busy. Is something wrong?"
He graciously said in a faint voice, "I also know the analysis, which means I'm not too stupid."
What kind of thinking was that?
Ivelle replied, "So what happened to Parker?"
"Have you ever heard of the butterfly effect?"
Ivelle was stupefied and she heard him say, "Will a butterfly stir up a storm with a little flick of its wings?"
As he said those words, his pair of dark eyes were looking carefully and attentively at the road ahead. It was obvious that he was attentive because Blossom was in the car seat.
"What happened to Erin affected not only the industrial development but also everything related to her. Most of Erin's industry stagnated and it also indirectly affected the Wesley family including the credit under Parker's name. Wesley is a big company. Capital and corporate structure can also be supported under great pressure for a period of time but credit is only available for less than two years. Although the reputation and earnings in these two years are good, it is still a small company after all. Once it is influenced by a huge external force, the speed of closing credit is faster than you think. Many large companies that have previously worked with credit all canceled their business deal with credit this year."
Ivelle didn't expect this for a moment. She frowned, Therefore, in order to maintain the development of the company, Parker must find several big companies to continue their business deal with him at the end of the year."
He nodded. "Hmm!"
"Our company didn't continue to work with him?" Ivelle asked. The small soft fingers of Blossoms pointed at her and her pair of big eyes looked around.
"No, but the contract Jordan signed with him last year only included the deal from Hempstead. This year, we moved my head office to the capital. In comparison, the capital is half less."
"Isn't that still Joe's?"
When the car entered the landscape house, he pursed his lips and said, "It's the same with Joe and you forgot that Joe gave it before."
Yeah, someone tied me up once because of this.
She raised her eyebrows and she was speechless.
When they returned to the villa, it was already noon. After Jordan placed Blossom in the nursery, he looked at her and said, "Go and watch her, and I'll move things back."
Ivelle nodded but after she took a few steps, she looked back at him carrying things in the trunk and said, "Jordan, I'm hungry."
Ivelle didn't eat this morning. She didn't eat at Jon's just now. She's a little hungry now.
He was stupefied for a moment, then he smiled, "Are you blaming me for not feeding you?" Where are the eggs I held for you this morning?"
"I left it at Jon's house!" Ivelle looked at him innocently.
He laughed, "What do you want to eat? I'll make it later!"
"Anything" Ivelle said, smiled, and watched him take everything out of the trunk. She said, "Jordan, you are a bit like a family cook now."
He looked at her his eyes darkened and he said, "come and close the door."
Ivelle nodded, closed the door, and followed him. She said childishly, "If you can breast-feed and have a baby it's not bad if you don't get married, right?"
He looked back at her, pursed his lips, and raised his eyebrows. "So, what are you trying to say?"
"I simply want to praise you!"
"Something practical!" He put the things in the nursery and looked at her.
He was a whole head taller than her. Ivelle walked into him, stood on tiptoe, looked up, and kissed him on the cheek. She smiled, "Is that all right?"
His eyes were deep. "It counts at night!"
Blossom is very good. He basically just looked around with a pair of big eyes open.
Occasionally when he would see something he liked, he would hold out his small hand. Jordan was busy in the kitchen and he put his cell phone in the nursery.
When the phone vibrated, Blossom listened motionless with round eyes. He seemed to be very curious.
Ivelle didn't answer. She just shouted to the kitchen, "Jordan, your phone is ringing."
There was a crash of water from the kitchen and he replied, "You answer it!"
She looked at the caller ID and it was Nicole.
She frowned, picked up the phone, and before she could speak, the voice of crying over the other line sounded.
