HALLUCINATIONS

"Ohh God, tell me I am not dreaming", I thought as I slid up my bed, throwing out my arms to embrace him tight to myself.

"Janelle?", Silas called, "It's me please, not Rashid", he called out.

My eyes widened as I swallowed a huge lump that seemed like it was choking my throat, I suddenly grew out of my hallucinations, it wasn't Rashid, some things seemed so good to be true.

"Ohh, Silas?, I'm sorry, I was just....", I stuttered, not even knowing what to say, I am so stupid, I said to myself, I really needed to get him out of my head, but I wondered if I would be able to get him out of my heart.

"It's okay Janelle, I do understand, sorry for waking you up, I and Renee wanted to have a conversation with you, but if it ain't cool with you, I would leave maybe we could discuss it tomorrow", he offered.

"Ohh noo, don't worry about that, I wasn't sleeping though, I would follow you out", I say to him as I slip out of bed and put on my flip flop.

He led the way out while I followed behind him.

Renee sat on the couch with a short robe which she tied at the front of the robe, she looked up at me immediately she heard footsteps walking inside the sitting room.

"Hey", she said.

"Hey", I cooed back.

"You were awake?, Or did Silas woke you up from sleep?", she frowned.

I looked at him and smiled, "Ohh no, I was awake when he knocked, was about to though", i replied.

"Alright, I would have smacked his ass if you had told me he woke up my lovely little cousin from sleep", she joked.

"Yeah, I know how possible you would, you wicked thing", he chortled.

I sat down in the couch watching the two couples throw funny passes at themselves, I noticed we suddenly became quiet when she noticed I was in their presence.

"ahhhhh sorry, I almost forgot why we both wanted to talk to you", she said.

"Ohhh don't worry, the show was quite hilarious", I replied frantically.

"So... we both discussed that erm...., I don't know how you would take this, but you should just know that I want the best for you, I don't want you sitting at home and looking so gloomy, I know it would be that hard to move on, but at least doing something will make you not to think much.....", Renee paused.

"Okay?", I replied, wanting her to continue with what she was going to say.

"Okay... Silas and I decided that you have to start up a work, you don't need to worry about capital, you just have to accept it, tell us what you would want to do and we would support you all through, so at least you don't need to....

I didn't wait for her to finish up, I hurriedly ran to her and embraced her, tears slipping from my eyes.

She was surprised at first, but after some minutes she wrapped her hands around me, "God!!!, thank you so much Renee, thank you, I don't know what I would have done or what I would have been without you, thank you a lot, thank you", I kept saying.

To say that this had never been in my mind, I am lying, but how I would go about it, I really did not know, I didn't want to be a burden on her, most especially Silas, he's a very good man.

"It's okay, this isn't much though, wait until I spoil you to the latter and juts tell you what Silas had planned for you...", She blurted.

"Christ!!!, too much surprises!!", I wowed.

"What about a boutique?, What do you think of it?, Owning your own boutique, having a sales girl....., Do you want something more.. or anything you want Jane, I would make it up to you, but you staying around the house looking so gloomy and sickly...., I don't want it please.

I would give you this night to think about it, just this night, but if you don't agree to start up a business, I am so sorry Miss Janelle, but I am going to bind you up and keep you in any store, so while you still have the chance to make a choice, choose wisely", she threatened.

Now this was my time to laugh, why do everyone in my life has to be so dominant, not even allowing me to make a choice.

My mind went back to Rashid, when he had proposed to me and at the same time threatening me on what he would eventually do if I don't agree to his proposal....

"If you give me a No, right now, they would kidnap you to Qatar, and you won't hear a word from your parents any longer, you would juts be mine and mine alone, I don't care how your parents would be worried about you.

Secondly, if it's a Yes, better for us, you would follow me back to Qatar on your own accord, without me forcing you to, although it won't pass this month, because I plan to travel by the end of this month, but just incase you feel like you would want to stay longer, I would still have no other choice but to Carter you off like my spoils of war", my mind flashes back to what Rashid told me on the day he proposed to me.

I looked up at Renee, I nodded my head at her and gave her a sheepish smile, "You will?", she questioned.

"Of course!!", I screamed as I tossed my hands around her neck.

"I would congratulate you for making a very wise decision", she said as she began laughing.

I walked towards Silas and hugged me, "Thank you so much Silas, you don't know what you have done for me, and yes..., I owe you both a lot, thank you so much", I babbled.

"It's nothing I can't do", he replied, ohh yeah of course, Silas is a very rich man, apart from the good looks and his very good heart, I think that was what attracted him to Renee.

QATAR

Rashid was pacing around in his garage, "So until now you all haven't found a trace of her, you checked her travel details and you found nothing...., all of you are not credible enough, how can you tell me that you all ever knew when she left this palace, what the actual fuck!!!!", he screamed.

All his men trembled, they shook, they had tried all their best to find her, but she did her best to make sure she left no trace of herself.

"The cameras?, What did the cameras show?", he roared, he hands on his neck as he yanked away his tie from his neck.

"The cameras would have been a more easier and faster away to get up with her, but even the camera could not show us anything, she left no trace, I think someone must have manipulated the Camera clip", Dargok said.

"Don't. Tell. Me. That. Dargok!!!!, you don't know how it feels hearing that from your mouth, if it was someone else, you know Dargok, I would have beaten the hell out of him, but because it's you, I am going to keep shut.

I would take back my words and give you all another twenty-four hours, if you all don't find my wife, then I swear, you won't like what would happen to all of you, and when I say all of you, I mean all of you with no one excluded", he bawled as his eyes rested on Dargok.

They all bowed their heads and left immediately.

He brought out the paper that Janelle sent to him again and traced his hands through it, "Thank you for the GIFT", he seethed his teeth and growled through clenched teeth.
