Paespaes, perched on Sejun’s palm, asked in a slightly tired voice. Maintaining the dimensional gate for over a day had worn it out.
“Yes, go ahead and close it.”
Once Paespaes closed the gate,
“Paespaes, you did well.”
Sejun gently petted Paespaes, which was still on his palm.
Paespaes chuckled happily and immediately fell asleep.
It then activated Stealth to hide its presence.
Carefully, Sejun moved the now-invisible Paespaes to his shoulder.
And just as he was about to do the work he couldn’t finish before
“Son-in-law Park, welcome.”
A graceful woman emerged from the kitchen area to greet Sejun.
She had a mature appearance that made her look like what Aileen might become in about 10 years by human standards.
“Yes. Thank you for bringing back my baby. You must be hungry, right? I’ve prepared some food, so come in and eat.”

Puzzled, Sejun followed Elizabeth into the kitchen.
The dining table was covered with dishes that looked absolutely mouthwatering.

Sejun was moved by Elizabeth’s food.
The aroma was also fantastic.
