Chapter 98: Chapter 98

"Assuming you aren't deaf, you should be able to hear what I said since what I uttered was crystal clear." He stated his mark strongly and authoritatively.

I stood silently there staring at what he was doing, unable to believe what I was seeing. He made a point of walking up to me and taking his suitcase, which I have no idea where he intended to put it. I was paying attention to every move he made and couldn't foresee what he would do next. This idiot is the one who carried me to everything he wants, and I am the stupid because I let him wherever he desires. It aches my mind every time I think about defending myself against his every remark and gesture since there's a tinge of blame in all of this. On top of that, sometimes, I feel like he wanted to declare that he wished me to be dead because his stomach could not stand the sight of me. However, I'm perplexed as to why he would want to live here since he doesn't even bother to look at me and seems to be repulsed.

I just stand back and let him do what he chooses. I am aware that Athen and I will not be able to accompany him while we are in Zhejiang since he will be attending to his business obligations. I have not yet verified to him that he is the founding father of Athens, which is another matter. I'm sure to enlighten him that Wayne is the father. In terms of Athen's complete name, I can provide a slew of plausible explanations. If it hadn't been for his insistence, I may have offered him an excuse for what he had claimed. When he walked inside the room where Athen was, I stopped following after him. Athen will not be awakened by her father since he has no evidence that Athen is his daughter; the only thing he has is a piece of paper that will state that Athen's surname is different from mine.

I shifted my eyes and couldn't see anything except the table before me. The home is oddly silent, to the point of being depressingly quiet. I'm certain that I would have been plagued by melancholy and haunted on a daily basis by the past and remorse if it hadn't been for Athen. It is just a matter of hoping that Adonis would cooperate since I cannot afford to lose Athen. But if Adonis is the adversary, I have no choice but to surrender since he is more capable of providing a nice life for my kid than I am myself. I didn't even bother to check at them; I was too busy cleaning the kitchen. There was no such thing as a large or tiny home; it was exactly fine for Athen and me since I maintained its size the same as when Adonis and I were just starting out. In the event that I can't trace the memories in every nook and cranny of this home, I am concerned that I may lose sight of what it is like to be happy.

After some time had passed and Adonis had not exited from the room, I marched inside the bedroom. My steps were halted, however, when I saw them hugging one other while deeply asleep. My heart was massaged by a warm hand, and I couldn't keep the tears from streaming down my face. Why am I being so self-centered? Not only was I bereft of Adonis, but I was also deprived of Athens. Why should I include my kid while I'm depressed? The corner of Adonis's eye, which had a tear in it, caught my attention as I drew near to them.

No. Stop. It's impossible for me to keep it a secret any longer. I'll simply sit back and wait for fate to guide me.

My gaze was drawn to his suitcase, and when I reached for it, I opened it. I also opened the cupboard where Athen and I keep our clothing since I want to put his clothes on. The days he deserves as the father of my child will be granted to him by me. When he attempts to wrest Athen away from me, I have no choice but to leave once again. If this occurs, I will never allow him to come near us again. I will not allow him to touch even a single strand of my daughter's hair without my permission.

When I was finished, I took my bag and went out. I'll go back to the mall to get them something to eat for dinner this evening since, after all, Adonis is already with Athen. I'll go out and find the stuff, and after that I'll just ship them here. I didn't say goodbye and just left the room. When I arrived at the mall, it didn't seem that the number of people had even decreased. They're even more numerous than before. I started by going right to the appliances section and purchasing a smart TV, refrigerator, and washer and dryer. It was after that that I went to see what was going on with the furniture design, including the beds, couches, and tables. Not only did I return quickly, but I did it in style. I didn't deliver my purchases right away since I wanted to make sure that each of the other products was in the suitable position if I started putting them inside my house.

When I returned home, I was taken aback by the large throng that had gathered in front of my house. What the heck is going on? I'm quite sure I only lost three hours total. I ran across the way of the people swarming around me and came upon my home, which was encircled by guys dressed in black suits. There are seven altogether . Athen and Adonis, on the other hand, converse to what seems like a while holding hands and seem to be having a serious discussion. When I was in front of my home, I took several large steps. Without my having just spoken, they would have missed me entirely.

"What on earth is going on here?"

Their reactions were as if they had seen the appearance of a ghost as they returned my gaze.
