Chapter 88: Chapter 88

They ran away, leaving me in the car and refusing to let me talk. They were really concerned as a result of what I did while observing what preparations they would make. Apparently they didn't realize I was still here, so I got out of the car without their noticing. I also need to check Cole to make sure he has nothing else going on than the Zhejiang folks. These people don't care about the Zhejiang people since they are only interested in Adonis. I just pretended to be normal until I came to the gate, where the guard was also busy—- I get out, all I'm thinking about is how I'm going to get to Cole.

When I arrived at the location where they had kidnapped me, they were no longer there. I no longer have my phone, therefore I have no idea what SMS they sent me. It was also a bad idea for me to return to Adonis's uncle's room to grab my luggage and other belongings since they may not allow me to go until the matter was handled. I wandered about looking for at least one of their members, but I didn't see any. I returned to the chair where they had tied me and found the note, which I believe was written by Cole.

"Go to the public press, and you know what will happen if you don't." It was written on the back of the paper where we would meet, and I lost no time in determining the address. Now that Adonis has a backup, I know what I'm going to do. I don't have to be concerned. I will make a sacrifice so that no one else is harmed. I raced to get to the area he mentioned and when I arrived there, there was also a lot of media. I shifted my eyes to check for Adonis's uncle's guards, but they were nowhere to be seen. As I wandered my eyes, I noticed two strange persons on the opposite sides of the wall. I hugged myself because I was afraid they might attack me.

Because the paparazzi haven't seen me yet, they haven't disturbed me. I simply stand there watching folks come in and go. I had no option but to step inside a few minutes later. So that they don't surprise me, I'm walking my feet. But as soon as I walked through the door, I was dazzled by the flash of the camera. I avoided them and took a seat in front of where I would answer the questions. There are many people now, and I know Cole cannot harm me. I noticed him at the very end of the rows of presses, smiling as if he was the winner. He had no idea I had anything planned. He smiled at me, and I smiled back, so he could have a feel for how to stab from behind the person you believed would never defy you.

"Miss Luna, we discovered that you are the reason why projects involving uninformed people and neglected places have been developed.  What do you have to say about it?  " That was the first question posed to me, and to be honest, I was anticipating a more serious one. I grinned at the press since his inquiry provided a better opportunity to bring out Cole's stink.

"Yes, I am the reason those individuals were given a chance, but there is someone who wants to destroy everything I have already established." I gazed at Cole so intently that he couldn't tear his eyes away from me and smirk. What he didn't realize was that he was the one I was talking about.

The press buzz became stronger, and they delved into what I meant. I'm sure I'll expose Cole to the following question. He has no idea that by what I'm saying, I'm both protecting Adonis and tossing him down. If I had to take him to the abyss and we both had to plummet to end everything, I would. In my peripheral view, I spotted two persons standing outside the door, casually observing me. With so many people involved, I'm not sure who they are or what group they belong to.

"The person you're referring to is a horrible person, Miss Luna.  Could you please tell us who this individual is? Is he or she simply a regular person? Is he or she part of the business world? Is he or she  well-known?" Now, a lady inquired. I shifted in my seat and turned to face them, clearly anticipating their response. Next, I looked at Cole, who was prepared for what I was about to say because he knew Adonis was the two of us' main aim.

"Why don't you ask Cole Dela Vega how he planned it and got me to say that?  How did he assassinate the men who deliver Adonis's goods? " That was the last thing I spoke before standing up, and saw the two guys who had been guarding earlier enter; I no longer looked at what they were doing, but I heard Cole's voice and an angry yell at me.

"LUNA, WHAT ON EARTH IS THIS?!" The next thing I heard was the sound of handcuffs being put on him, so I rushed out of there.  I haven't seen Adonis' guard because I'm sure they're now protecting him.

When I got out, I realized I couldn't keep waiting for the press to come after me. I'm going back to Adonis' house, not to live there, but to give the money he provided me. I'm going to leave so I don't have to worry about his quiet life any longer. I know he'll be happy without me in his life, and there's still a possibility he'll meet the right person for him.
