Chapter 86: Chapter 86

They didn't cover my eyes; instead, they kept them open so I could see where we were going. My hands and feet were likewise unrestrained, as they were not restrained by a leash. I was astonished to see the two other guards wearing masks. As I remained there watching them, smoke billowed from inside the car, and I fainted and fell asleep for a few moments. My body became quickly debilitated as a result of the heavy smoking that had been provided to me. I even noticed a guard peek at me before pulling his phone out of his pocket before it grew dark all around me.

A guy was hoisting me up when I opened my eyes. Because I felt dizzy, I couldn't identify them any more. It didn't harm that they kidnapped me because their every step was nonviolent, which I appreciate. I kept my eyes open because I didn't know who else I could fight this time. They didn't seem to notice that I was awake, so I simply let them. I heard someone spoke that I couldn't be mistaken for who owns it —-when I believed the man who was carrying me was ready to put me down. I just leaned quietly and let him talk. Of course, he would not let me off the hook for the offense I had done against Adonis.

"Does Adonis know what you did to her?" That's Adonis' uncle, and I'm hoping he can't see me awake because if he does, I'm sure he won't let me talk any longer. I could feel the comfortable bed behind me for as long as I could remember. Kidnapping me now is a major deal; I wasn't brought to abandoned places; instead of the suffering I'll face, it appears that I've found a spot to sleep. In my head, I chuckle since now is not the time to joke about those things.

"The first to abduct her was Cole Dela Vega, and it appears that they also kidnapped her for some unknown cause.  We had previously seen her strolling alone." The man had earlier been with me, but he had moved away from me now. They seem to have been following me for some time; what if they didn't realize those men wanted to murder me? They should have witnessed Cole's dogs do anything to me if they had followed me sooner. I closed my eyes again as a result of what the man stated. The bed was also tugging at me because it was so warm.

"Let her rest, don't harm her because you owe it to Adonis, and don't tell Adonis what I did.  Just let me know when she wakes up." I heard the sound of the wheelchair turning, and because of what he said, my panic vanished like a bubble because I knew in my heart that even though I wasn't with Adonis anymore, his name was still the reason I was kept safe. Tears streamed down my cheeks as I closed my eyes. I'm missing him. I miss him so badly that I could die.

My tiredness took me away while I was pondering. I had no idea how many times the clock had moved because I had just awoken incredibly hungry. I know it's not the correct time to worry about it, but I'm pregnant, I haven't eaten since this morning, and I'm concerned for my baby. When I opened my eyes, I saw a man with his legs crossed, clutching a book in his gloved hand. Before handing me dinner, he looked at me and gestured to his partner. Is it truly abduction if I have my own servant instead of serving?

"Eat it now because maybe later the boss will come and he has to talk to you," he said, and I no longer questioned who the boss was because I'd heard of Adonis' uncle earlier. As he speaks, I glance at the food on the bed table, which is being served to me. Even when he speaks, I don't listen to him since I can hear the sound of my stomach growling. The aroma of food hit my nose right away, and I don't know how many swallows I took simply to halt the salivation in my mouth.

I grabbed the chopstick and whatever other food was available. Because I knew I wouldn't see food like this again in the following days, I ate everything. They just stare at me, as if shocked that I eat so much and have such a little physique. It didn't take long for me to finish all of that, and I could see the look of surprise on their faces. I reached for my tummy and handed them the bedside table. It was taken with me by his friend. After I finished my meal, Adonis' uncle came in.

He stared at me sternly and without sympathy, as I had expected. I glanced at him as well, but not in the same way that I had before, which made me upset. Now I look down because he can't forgive me for what I did to Adonis, but why would I ask him for that if I haven't apologized to Adonis? I suppose he didn't hurt me today. As he approached near, he spoke in a harsh tone.

"How long can I warn you that you must resist Adonis?  You have only brought him misery!" He came to a halt for a bit and drank some water since he was quickly out of breath. "Even your family's money should be returned to you; he even founded your own business!  You're driving my nephew insane!”

I couldn't move because of what he said. What exactly does he mean? Cole assured me that Adonis seized it and used it for his own purposes.
