Chapter 65: Chapter 65

His pupils dilated, but I couldn't stop weeping. I dropped my foot to the airbed and was about to depart when I picked up the bowl of seafood to go. He followed me while pacing and crying. I saw the two who would join us later for snorkeling, and they are staring at us. I'd already climbed the stone steps and had no idea where I was headed. Not only that, but I ate seafood while walking.

“Luna!” he yelled, but I didn't look at him and simply sniffled because I couldn't stop weeping. “Luna!” he called again, but my every stride got larger and larger until he couldn't reach me.

So perhaps he told me that, so I could abandon him forever. He's probably smitten with another lady. Every time I think about that, a bullet from a rifle pierces my heart. What's the matter with me? Something was lacking in me, but I was too exaggerated to see it.

But no matter how huge my step was, it appeared to him to be a regular step. He caught me, and I dropped the seafood bowl, exacerbating my heartache. He no longer considers that what he is doing is hurried, and he is unaware of how it affects me.

My tears continued to flow, and they landed on his arms. He walked back to our cabin after picking me up from the air. I fought hard, but he would not let me down. I returned my gaze to the couple who would be assisting us. How long will they remain? As the sun rises higher in the sky, they may get even darker. However, I immediately lost sight of them and smacked Adonis on the back many times.

He led me inside, shut the door, and hugged me. I didn't return his hug; instead, I placed my hands down on each side of me, but he was holding me tightly. His heart was racing in his chest, and I could feel it. His breathing was also labored.

“There is no hidden meaning to what I stated. Did it cause you such sadness?” I nearly choked as he gripped me even harder. “It doesn't matter what you look like or what your physical type is. I shall always adore you. You will notice all the tiny things about the one you love because you want to be the first to notice it,” he explained.

I closed my mouth, suddenly feeling awful for not listening to him. I returned his hug, burying my face in his chest. Furthermore, I bit my lower lip and bit his chest, which was now dressed in a white T-shirt.

“I'm sorry,” I whispered gently, realizing that I couldn't be heard since I was so weak. He kissed my head and spoke once more.

“I'm sorry as well. I'd want to know whether there's an issue or if you prefer not to tell me, so I can think about it. Tell me if you are hurting or sad because I want to join you and comfort you. Please let me know if there are any minor things I should be aware of.”

“Let's go snorkeling, so you can view the reefs,” he said as he drew me outdoors, and I go with him. People were still conversing as we came out, and the woman is now wearing a life vest. I felt both terrified and enthusiastic about what we were about to do. My heartbeat was jumping. As we came closer, the man handed me a life vest. Adonis put it on me, and when it was finished, he put his. There are also tanks aboard the sailboat, but I'm not sure when we'll wear them.

I expected Mark and Raymond to accompany us, but they did not. The four of us were already on board, but they refused. The boat is large enough for us, but it appears that they will just keep an eye on it. When the sailboat began to move, I waved at them and giggled quietly as he waved back.

I almost stumbled as Adonis drew me closer to him despite the fact that we were already close. I stared at him in awe, his expression as if heaven and earth were collapsing around him. Not only that, but it felt as if he had been robbed of his destiny. He diverted his gaze from me, so I grasped his chin and turned to face him.

“What's your problem?” I ask, laughing at his reaction. His obstinacy and rudeness reappeared, something I believed I'd never see again. I haven't seen his snide expression in days or months. I'd be lying if I said I never looked for his manner like this.

“Please don't laugh. It makes me envious since you never laugh when you're with me.” His tone was sour. I let go of his chin and lost the smile on my lips. I assumed I was the only one who felt this way. Insecurities about one's presence. Even he, I don't believe, feels that way. I couldn't tell if the couple could hear us since they turned their backs on us.

I had no idea what to say to him. I focused my attention on the water and felt how chilly it was. Maybe it's because the top is hot from the heat, but when my hand gets a bit saturated, the cold covers my palm. I spoke to him while doing so.

“You are not alone in feeling this way. Maybe it's normal in a relationship to have doubts when we don't think we can make our loved ones happy.” I turned to him, wiped my hand, and smiled at him. “However, as long as you trust each other, we will be content because we will pick the storytelling above cheating.”.

After I spoke, we stopped near the cave. This is where possibly we will dive. The boat stopped, the woman approached me, and she was carrying the air tank. She put it on my back and put something in my mouth. So did Adonis. The man approached him and did to him what the woman had done to me. When they finished, Adonis and I looked at each other with a smile. Adonis held my hand, even though my hand was cold, his palm was just as warm.

“Shall we?”

He asked before we jumped together, holding our hands together.
