Chapter 188: Chapter 188

Third Point of view

After the conversation between Luna and Adonis, Adonis never came out of his room again no matter how Luna waited for him. Luna knocks on his door in the bedroom but he doesn't listen to her. But to the maids, he opens the door. Luna is also discouraged because she feels that she can no longer reach Adonis. Adonis grew farther and farther away from her with each passing day.

"Mommy, won't daddy join us for dinner?" Athen asked Luna for another breakfast what they were doing but Adonis didn't even accompany them.

“No. Daddy isn't ready to join us yet. You know, he still deals a lot within himself so all we have to do is wait for him. Please, be patient with him. He needs time to heal.”

“But mommy, I can see that you're getting broken. Every time I see you trying to convince him, I always see you wearing a sad smile.”

Luna could not speak because she did not think that at that age Athen had learned such a word and she already understood the situation.

“It’s okay Athens. There is something else we need to remember. I know that one day your daddy will understand us.” Luna tries to be strong but actually only a little and she will give up.

Athen thought that in order to get even closer to Adonis, she might need to spend time with Adonis. So she thought of planning a beach swimming with everyone in their house. So the second time, she wanted to try again and maybe this time she could tame Adonis.

She knocked on Adonis' door again.

"Adonis?" Luna waited for Adonis to come out no matter how long it took. She promised herself that she would not leave the front of this room until she got an answer.

She knocked again and on her second attempt, she got an answer from Adonis. Adonis opened his door as he gasped and sweat formed on his face. His face is also red and his eyes seem to be closing.

When she realized Adonis' situation, it was only then that she realized that Adonis had a high fever. So, is she not answering all of Luna's invitations because of that?

When Luna thought that Adonis was going to fall, she quickly caught him and she wasn't mistaken that Adonis had a fever.

She pulled Adonis in and touched his forehead at how high his fever was and he also noticed that Adonis' breath was heavy. She looked for something that could be used to lower Adonis' fever but she didn't see anything. So that Adonis' fever would not get worse, she planned to get up and get lukewarm water and a towel to wipe his body.

But she was just about to stand when Adonis suddenly stopped him by the hand. She looked at their hand and she couldn't take her eyes off it because it had been too long since Adonis had touched her like this.

"Adonis?"

"Don't leave."

She couldn't help but be surprised by what Adonis said but she couldn't stand the fact that Adonis just remembered her in this incident.

She wasn't sure if she was really what Adonis was looking for. Perhaps, it was just a dream.

“Adonis, I have to take your clothes because you are already bathing in sweat. I also need to prepare medications because you need to anticipate how you are feeling right now. I'll be right back ” Luna removes her hand from Adonis even though she doesn't want to remove it because she is afraid that after she releases Adonis it won't happen again.

Luna slowly left him and Luna hurried downstairs. She even saw Leilani and Raymond joking with Athen. Fortunately, Leilani did not leave and they accepted her offer of help.

After she got what she needed she didn't wait another few minutes and returned to Adonis.

As soon as she saw Adonis, he discovered that she was asleep. She was able to breathe easily and at least Adonis was not having a problem with his sleep.

She started rubbing Adonis' skin and body. It's been too long for Luna that she can't see Adonis up close and so to see him now, a different feeling is happening in her chest. She wished that after all this, Adonis would still remember her.

When she should be leaving, she looked at Adonis' face again. She suddenly wanted to sleep side with Adonis even just tonight. She just wanted to experience again the warmth she felt before with Adonis.

So that she would not want everything next time, she just wanted to embrace Adonis while he was still unconscious. While Adonis is still didn't know that Adonis was next to him now.

She hugged Adonis tightly as tears dripped from her eyes. She wants to enjoy this moment because she doesn't know when she will experience it next.

When she felt that she had done enough, she would have stood up as Adonis hugged her tighter. Her eyes widened and she couldn't believe it because Adonis hugged her. Because she thought that Adonis was just dreaming, she slowly removed Adonis' hand from her but she felt that his hug was even tighter.

"A-Adonis ..." She called softly but Adonis just pushed himself more to Luna.

“Stay here for tonight. It's cold so I can't move. What if I want to eat? Who do I call?” Adonis' hot whisper hits Luna's back so Luna's cheeks are red and it is too much for her.

"Oh .. A-ah .." Luna didn't know what to say but she was sure of only one thing. Her heart was beating fast.

"Adonis, I would like to ask you if you would like to come with me to the beach so we can enjoy and maybe that will help you to remember me."
